Yeah they don't seem like cards that really do a bunch, even with squadron hawks unless you have a way to fetch them up, and again since stoneforge mystic is banned, they seem rather lackluster in here.

Right, like I said that's just not the route they're going with this deck it seems. Though you can create a token army with empty the warrens with this deck. :P

You can tap a green creature to make Gather Courage a free card. Also I agree, arbor colossus is a much better card to choose for that slot, Swarmborn Giant is just way too risky to use.

Djinn Illuminatus is really not a powerful legacy card, or a powerful card in general now a days, I don't think it is really what this deck is looking for; this deck is trying to rattle off as many cheap spells as possible and kill with a grapeshot or empty the warrens. Casting a large creature should never be done by this deck.

How hard is it for you to see a sword during a single tournament? It just seems like 2/60 is a fairly low number to actually create a benefit when you don't have the ability to use stoneforge mystic...

Why not mind crank? Might as well keep that in here as a two card combo with Duskmantle since you are running him... :3

Alright that's fair, you seem like you're going a certain direction for this deck so I'll stop suggesting stuff for now, only because I don't fully understand it yet.

You have Whip of Erebos as well... :3 I just think that it is too conditional and while you haven't missed with it yet, when you do you will be horribly disappointed. Yeah that's fair, I think that your sideboard looks pretty solid now, and the deck looks pretty sweet as well! :D No prob, just trying to help! :3

That's true, though you have quite a few cards in here that would be absolutely terrible to hit with Narset when exiled, like every instant or sorcery except interpret the signs and lightning strike. Every time you attack with her it seems like there is a chance to either hit something completely irrelevent (aka Dissolve) or kill her in the process (devouring light, end hostilities). It just doesn't seem like she has a place in this deck at this point, unless you did an overhaul of the deck.

I think Arc Lightning and Despise are both more sideboard cards than mainboard, because they won't always hit a target especially since you may be playing against control decks. I think you could use some more ramp in the form of elvish mystic and sylvan caryatid, so I'd swap your anger of the gods, despise and arc lightning for mystics and caryatids.

I don't like interpret the signs (again), it just seems like a bad card that can miss very easily. It seems like this cost far outweighs the benefits, so I would suggest jace's ingenuity for that slot. I would also swap the Rakshasa's Secrets for thoughtseize and the bitter revelations for counterspells like more dissipate or a few dissolve. I do like the one of hornet queen in here, have you thought about building a sultai reanimator deck? :D

Honestly I feel like Jeskai Charm has a home in this deck, where it goes instead of something else I'm not entirely sure... XD

I think I like Jace's Ingenuity over Interpret the Signs in this deck, mostly because it is a guaranteed three cards drawn, and can be done at instant speed at the end of your opponents turn. I also think I'd swap the Bitter Revelations and Duneblast for Dissolves, or maybe some more downfalls or utter end; it just seems like these would be better options in my opinion.

That's true, I may try some crackling dooms in the side just to see how they do. Thanks!

Right, I'm just saying that's what dredge in modern became after the best dredge cards were banned.

I think that bloodghast vengevine deck is a type of dredge that is still in modern after the major dredge cards became banned.

Really? I haven't faced many twin combo match ups in my meta, it's been a lot of control and pod, and a bunch of scapeshift...

True. Though if needed you have a great pauper deck if you just take out the overgrown tombs!
