I know if doesn't quite fit the tribal theme, BUT... Seedborn Muse would kind of make things ridiculous once you have Sands out. XD

You know, I wish people couldn't comment on incomplete decks. XD It's not that I don't want people to comment EVENTUALLY, but I'm sort of embarrassed that you had to see this in this state. LOL

Thank you for the comment, regardless, and you're welcome!

It doesn't matter whether it revolves around Kaalia or not, Olaf is right in the respect that you'll get run over before you can ever make much of a difference.

You need more early protection and more land/mana sources. Trade out a few of the creatures you're least attached to and get some duel-color land in there, plus some Journey to Nowhere/Path to Exile/Oblivion Ring. Also, as much as I love Whispersilk, it's too expensive. You want to be able to protect Kaalia the SECOND she hits to board. switch out the Cloak for Lightning Greaves, that way not only is she shrouded, but you can use her ability to same turn she comes into play. :)

I like it, but I'm surprised you aren't running 4 Ranger's Guile, if not 4 of both spells. Also, you may have a problem with swarm decks as it isn't likely you'll have more than a couple creatures out at a time. Maybe replace a couple of the pump spells with a bit more kill? A couple Bonfire of the Damned?

Bruna is useless without Auras to grab. What about Sublime Archangel? Voice of All? Heck, you're running 5-color, what about Maelstrom Archangel?

Eh, Open the Vaults is more of an emergency late-game card than anything. "In case of Shattering Spree, break glass". XD

So, taking out Defense Grid is basically saying that playing defensive cards are basically going o hurt me, right?

What would you say about the sideboard? just research and plan for the worst?

Good choices for the replacements. :3 Yay for guys that replace themselves! And good point about the risky come into play doods.

As for draw, you might want to look at spells with cantrips (Ex. Remand) or something else that lets you manipulate your deck (Ex. Brainstorm). Solemn Simulacrum would probably be a good fit, at least a couple.

Something to think about. :) Glad I could help!

Torpor Orb kills Arcbound creatures. I know you have them in there as food for Arcum, but if the Torpor Orb is out, they're useless.

Also, why the Shadowmage Infiltrators? Why not more "come into play/enter the battlefield" cards to abuse?

I want to know how in the WORLD that elephant is going to ambush someone. O.o Must be very stealthy.

Looks like fun! :D

Bump in the Night is NOT a good fit, especially when you can't flash it back. You definitely could use some kill in here, too. So... Replace the Bumps and Druid's Familiar (you're a little heavy in the 4 slot and this is does the least) with the kill card/cards of your choice. Also, Blood Artist is good in almost any creature-based black deck, but lifegain especially. Might want to think about putting a few in (Switch with the Timberland Guide, maybe?)

Might want a bit more direct kill. The Shrines become useless pretty quick, so... -1x Shrine and 1xPainful Quandary, +2x Go For The Throat?

Sideboard Surgical Extraction for that extra slap in the face. :D

Wit's End is a bad card, period. Smallpox might not be a bad idea, though, and Appetite for Braid is a good sideboard card.

The Avenger makes this deck non-T2, so why not add some non-standard ramp? Cultivate/Kodama's Reach, Harrow, or even some of the search lands.

You may be intending to win via Infect, but between the Titans and the Avenger, Infect certainly isn't your only big win con. LL

I like it! :D

19 pieces of creature removal? O.o Dood, what do you do against creature-less/light decks? Play a land and hope they don't burn/ mill/ force you discard/ counter your win conditions away?

-2 Bump, +2 Duress, at LEAST. You don't have to switch to a lot of discard, but having a way to deal with non-creature threats is definitely needed. Might even want to main deck the Surgical Extraction, too.

-3 Murder, +2 Surgical, +1 Sorin (move the Murders to the board)?

Anyway, those are my thoughts.

Ha, I was just talking about his type of build with someone last night! :D Only thing I would do different is knock off 4-6 land and add 4 Memnite and 2 Mox Opal. Zero cost cretures are your friend in Tempered Steel builds.

I actually tried the simulator out last night (after going through all the M13 sealed pools) and I see what happened now. That Draft sim is unrealistic -- who in their right mind passes Lilli?

I'm actually considering the Ravager/Disciple bit as sideboard tech. If aggro fails, change it all up with speedy damage? :O
