no sarkan vol is bad for a current jund deck, check out the top pro tour decks if you don't believe me.

Raging ravine is much better. Although what you say is true, you will find that playtesting against a variety of deck archtypes proves that 4 terminates main deck is ineffective in a number of match ups eg. cruel control, U/W control etc. i will explain why kresh is not as good as he seems:

Jund is all about card advantage or two for ones. Look at your jund deck, almost every card generates this particular feature eg bloodbraid elf cascades int a thrinax, blightning, or even malestrom pulse. The idea of is to generate board control as efficiently as possible. Just remember this: many of these cards have two effects in one card. Take your time and look at each individual card and see what effects i generates. This is the reason why jund is the biggest deck in standard right now !!

Kresh unfotunately is just sub - optimal - yeah, he has ok stats to begin with, and can get nasty. But in standard it's dodgy waiting for your creatures to get bigger and more efficient on the basis of the opponents creatures dying. The only similar cards i would use is scute mob, as it relies on a much more reliable source, lands. It's also 1 to cast and can be fetched into your hand with ranger of eos.

Putrid leech is fantastic btw, i have done alot of standard playtesting, and the reason putrid leech is good, is because it suprasses all other two drops in standard, and kills many three and four drops. yes the life loss is a disadvantage, but killing a an equivalent two drop creature is more important in the long term than a loss of life.

Master of the wild hunt needs little explanation: hes a 3/3 who continuously pumps out tokens, a massive form of card advantage, and a 3/3 is a nice threat as well.

Remember this, card advantage is one of the fundamental important aspects of magic, it will make and break games. Understanding it, will allow you to become a better player. Hope this helps :-)

This is not up to pro tour standard, you never run 4 terminates and kresh the bloodbraided is trash. garruk, the wildspeaker or master of the wild hunt goes in this slot. I don't know whether your trying to play competitively or just for fun but this is not strong enough to be competitive. Everything else is fine although, i would definitely use 4 raging ravines for sure, and maybe a couple of lava claw reaches. Run around 26 - 27 land is the general consensus now :-)

jund is not aggressive, don't make that mistake. Out of all the aggro decks in this format, jund is the least aggressive.

dude 12 land is nowhere near enough, remember that if you do get 1 land, you don't always get the essential mana producing creatures as well. it may work sometimes, but definitely not consistently enough to be viable. Run between 18 and 22 land. No magic deck runs as little land as this, unless it's a vintage moxen deck, but thats a different story altogehter.

A tournament deck similar to this did very well. Tidehollow sculler and putrid leech are both amazing cards. Cakins is right, putrid leech is hard to kill with burn, also remember in standard, putrid leech beats all other two drop creatures and trades with some the bigger creatures, like wooly thoctar

Yeah dude totally agree although in the mainboard i would suggest either 4 borderland rangers or gonlin ruinblaster. also burst lightning is good! so keep them

@ amigolabara you don't know what your talking about, a very similar deck went top 8 sometime ago.

20 land is just not enough. You need between 22 and 24, to be consistent.

magma jet - it deals 2 damage to target creature or player, and scry 2. Basically you rearrange your deck, tto draw another burn spell
