This is super cool. Maybe you should run some Duress? Otherwise sick deck.

Nice deck, might I recommend Stoke the Flames as an additional burn spell as well as Prescience Chimera in place of Master of Predicaments, since it adds a lot more value.

By the way, sorry to bother you but please check out my newest deck. It is probably the 'best' deck I have made yet, and by that I mean it is complete Jank in all the best ways. http://www.mtgvault.com/slimslamer/decks/jankdeck/

I'd recommend tossing in: Virulent Sliver, Sidewinder Sliver and Venom Sliver. If you can rearrange the budget slightly also try to throw in Sinew Sliver, I know at $0.50 they threaten the deck's budget a tad, but they're completely worth it. Meanwhile get rid of Sliver Construct, Steelform Sliver, Battle Sliver and Megantic Sliver.

4x Sidewinder, 4x Virulent and 4x Venom are a must though, they will make this deck next-level aggressive.

Since this is so creature heavy, it might not hurt to trade Hive Stirings for Herd the Stampede.

Also swap out Blur Sliver for Firewalker Sliver. The latter is far better and they cost the same.

Did not think of Freed From The Real when I made a similar deck, very good call.
My advice: Throw in pain seer, he's still super cheap.
Also something like Artful Dodge is great because you get a free attack which also basically means a free tap.
Also use an unblockable creature like Triton Shorestalker to get the most out of Hidden Strings.
Lastly Skirsdag High Priest is another good tap engine, plus he nets you a 5/5 w/ flying.

I made a $15 version which includes Life legacy as well as a more aggressive mana curve. It's not perfect yet but I like where its headed. Btw if you don't want life's legacy, may I suggest Lead The Stampede. In a deck this creature heavy it's basically a 'draw 4 cards' for 3 mana.

I actually replaced LL w/ Lead the Stampede because LL is something of a 'win more' card, while Lead is a great way to recoupe after your losses. I also threw in Radha, Heir to Keld because this deck was made for her.

The deck I tested on MWS used abrupt decay and tragic slip as removal. And while decay is obviously far better, the combination of the two got rid of pretty much any threat I faced. Most decks in modern outside of stuff like Tron and Bloom run few creatures with over 3cc at the moment. I'd recommend testing Smother at the very least.

Very cool. I think you should cut predator's rapport, gruul charm and skargg goliath in the interest of establishing something of a mana curve with your creatures. Frenzied Goblin might work, so could Gladecover Elves, rakdos crackler or Spire Tracer. Nyxborn Rollicker has bestow, which helps, and Wasteland Viper has deathtouch. For a two-drop: Borderland maurader, Fore-house chainwalker, impetuous sunchaser, skinbrand goblin all work.

Really anything that can generate mana, or has trample or haste would work fine.

Edit: ALSO! LIFE'S LEGACY IS A MUST HAVE HERE!

Also I'm down to join together with you guys, C&C is badly needed around here.

I found some potentially better removal that doom blade: Smother. It's like a (very) budget abrupt decay. As an added bonus it can hit transformed Mutavaults and Artifacts.

It's a fun deck, I didn't even know about Griffin Rider until now. Would it be possible to splash blue w/ Judge's Familiar, that one with evolve, etc and make it a bird deck?

The only reason I have the Zephyr Sprite instead of Shorewalker is that it boosts spellstutter's power.

The good people @mtgsalvation made a good point that the deck was too passive. And while that's part of the point I agree that it's good that I've sped up the process a tad. Orzhov Charm was another suggested addition, it can reanimate my guys and also combos great with Korlis + Guildmage.

I made some changes w/r/t your comments, namely I put in the Guildmage, check it out.

The kill from splunters triggers Banshee's morbid, you don't need the sac. It's better to run doomblade because splinter doesn't do much for you early game, and this is very much a midgame deck, so it needs some good early game hate. Also I'd recommend taking out the cauldrons for Viscera Seer. I cannot exaggerate how great viscera seer is.

Yeah I took out my mystics in the original deck because they were nice but duress was nicer. Also don't run Bone Splinter, run tragic slip. It runs at instant speed, is less restricting (can be played turn 1 to eliminate their exp 1 before it goes off, or turn 2 to get rid of their confidant, etc) and can kill invincible creatures. With a deck like this creatures will probably be dying every turn, so Slip is really the place to be.

Hmm, both are good suggestions. I was thinking about adding extort to this deck but I'm not 100% sure what I could remove to bring it in. Vizkopa guildmage is also a fantastic idea, and now that I know about it I really want to add it, but I'm not sure what to remove. Plus I don't want too many two-drops or else I feel they'll slow me down.

np. I made a similar deck if you're interested in checking it out. It's less budget ($60), and the cards are different but its very much the same idea. http://www.mtgvault.com/slimslamer/decks/the-middle-path-wb-pacifist/
