I didn't realize Blood artist had gotten so expensive 0.o. Suture priest is an alright alternative then.

Haha exactly. It's podless pod.

You should run God's Willing for a nice win-con to make you Ajani's effective unblockable. Otherwise you're just going to get chump-blocked for turns on end.

Sure. Also he doesn't need a very early game presence. He's basically a t3-4 beater that I can cast for peanuts.

I would run Viscera Seer and Blood Artist if at all possible. Blood artist is more or less better than Deathgreeter and seer is one of the best sac outlets in modern due to all the deck-fixing he provides. Furthermore the Witch/Newt theme is cool but is really expensive mana-wise, I'm concerned you wouldn't be able to get it out fast enough to do anything.

He's actually a life saver. Thanks to Hex Parasite + Plunge into darkness I can drive my life down to very low levels whenever I need to. Because of this Death's shadow can be as big or as small as I want him to be, so if I'm facing control decks, which increasingly pack remand/spell snare/mana leak rather than hard counters, he's very easy to get out and is hard to deal with as long as he is more than a 4/4. He has won me multiple games.

Test it on MWS/Cockatrice, I like it so I'm giving it a spin right now, I'll let you know how I do.

That's a better solution. I'd also recommend you take out liliana and replace it with Loleth troll. Troll has great synergy with this deck since you could pump cards into your graveyard with it whenever you need, plus its a reliable beater that can at least pressure your opponents until you draw what you need.
Have you playetested this deck? How well does it fair?

I think I'm going to replace Ooze w/ skinshifter to bring the price down and put Scooze in the SB to let people know its the better alternative. Skinshifter is an underrated gem but its pretty useful.

One idea: maybes something based on pumping out a ton of lands? With scute mob, vinelasher kudzu, some bigger cards and exp 1? We could call it explosive growth, and unlike stompy decks it should run some creature/land centric CA which green accels at.

My immediate critique: You should really run Viscera Seer. He's the best sac-outlet in modern bar none.

I'll check them all out tomorrow when I have the time. I like budget decks but tbh Mono-green stompy kind of bores me. I'm curious to see if its possible to make a mono-green budget deck with some guile to it, skinshifter is certainly a nice start in that direction. Skylasher (which isnt in this deck) is also very cool. Maybe something with Lasher, Shifter and Exp One? I'll figure it out tomorrow.

I had the Finks already, they're the only expensive card. But yeah honestly after actually buying the rest of the cards today, the 'low' category for these decks definitely lie.

If you're working on Budget decks I'd like to help out, I've been working on refining a $20 deck recently if you're interested (sadly thats the low price, not the middle price)

Wow this is amazing, I made a G/B deck that I thought was pretty great yesterday based around graveyard interactions and Death's Shadow as well (http://www.mtgvault.com/slimslamer/decks/the-best-35-deck-in-modern/) but this went in a completely different direction and honestly has this beat. I just have 1 question and 1 suggestion:
Question: What do you do against Graveyard hate like Tormod's crypt? Also what do you do against decks featuring heavy removal?
Suggestion: This might help w/ the removal question: Maybe you should run 2x Gladecover Elves or something else with Hexproof just in case.

It's essentially immortal in this deck, plus a good source of pressure. Idk what i should take out for it though, plus it has negative synergy with Genesis Chamber.

One big suggestion: Blood Artist is way better than Falkenrath Noble, and should be run over it. It loses out on a little bit of body, but it can be cast on turn 2, which makes it far better at doing the same job.
Also it's not a human, but Fleshbag Marauder might fit well in this deck.

Cartel Aristocrat also strikes me as a great option. It's a card which functions as both a fantastic Blocker and/or a great way to ping my opponents for two each turn. It also combos well w/ Necromancer's Ascension, but I'm not sure if running the later is a good call/what should be removed.

I'd recommend pulling the Scarsdag High Priests since you only have 2 demons in this deck anyways. I'd recommend running Soul's Attendant if you want better life-gain or Viscera Seer if you want to fix your draws. You might also benefit from putting both in and taking out Disciple of Griselbrand as well, since Soul's attendant is better for life-gain and Viscera Seer is a more useful (as well as free) sac-outlet.
