i play top over brainstorm even though top is slower because you can top every turn and you can snap a fetchland when you dont like your top 3 and divine a new top 3 making a great card search mechanic

considered replasing gatekeeper with the stix quite a bit but never the nighthawk, makes sense though you have a very good point, im just hesitant because i do quite a bit of damage to myself with the fetchlands, thoughtseize and surgical extraction

and yes my creatures are always realy slow, i usually just play discard, land destruction and counter spells the first 4 turns then when ive reduced them to nothing i play creatures which also double as great creature removal, so much synergy

consider mirri's guile its allot like brainstorm and divining top, also divining top is slower than brainstorm but you can top multiple times and you can combo fetchlands with top when you dont like the top 3 snap a land to shuffle and divine a new 3

also i dont tend to like natural order with show and tell, the show requires u to draw the fatties and the order requires you not to so you cant realy build your enabling side of the deck around one or the other, ive got a version using NO and defense of hte heart comboing with forbidden orchard

also intuition would be your best search for NO or the other portal card you chose

yes it does, most relentless rats play the stone, rituals and sometimes lake of the dead, and some form of tutor card, thats it, your essence whatever is almost meaningless when u have 25 rats in play, actually all other cards but these ones only make it harder for thrumming stone to successfully trigger (makes your deck worse)

pariah and guilty concience are by far the best things to put in a stuffy doll deck, also theres pretty much a deck type around those cards and pestilence to clear the board and olschool kor cards to redirect damage

oh also since you have so many tutors and necropotence i strongly suggest you go for the dark depths + vampire hexmage combo

cool so you just commented on my MBC deck and suggested i check this out, and ya its pretty cool i like your use of the lense with the snow covered swamps as to not benefit opponents

i would strongly consider the use of top and fetchlands, you divine the top 3 cards of your librairy and if you dont like any of them you snap a fetchland to shuffle your librairy and divine the new top 3, it almost creates a kind of scry top

also once you can afford it purely replace duress with thoughtseize

haha sweet thanks, and ya that was actually one of the worst ppl ive ever seen^ you just have bad luck i guess

so for direct damage you could try doing a black red deck with vexing devil, goblin fireslinger, various unblockable guys, stormblood beserker, and a wonderfull card called hatred, also browbeat will be your friend, and since its red black use terminate for removal and GOTTA love lightning bolt

well ive given you some cool ideas now lets see what you can come up with

also this site
http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Default.aspx
should come up in your searchbar more than porn, sereously deckbuilders greatest tool

I disagree with the above statement, however you are low in overal power compared to how much the deck costs, my advice is i think your biggest problem is youve taken good parts from different decks and put them together but they dont mesh together well, come up with a theme / goal of how to win more effectively than the guy next to you and strictly build around it, also if you have a 6 cost creature you better have some way of getting them out other than hoping to eventually get 6 land, to get 6 land your either gunna have to draw all land the first 5 turns which youll run out of other cards and lose, or youll have to go to like turn 20 in a game

Heres an example of a solid themed deck, its fast equipment, relyable from turn 1 to turn 5 to be biggerr and harder to kill than anyone else

Sereously bitterblossom if you can afford it, also diabolical edict, its a demonic tutor but you have to sac a creature, exactly the card you want to grab your gravepact or nantuko husk, maybe even skullclamp

Could you do me a favour n check this out? Its super fast equipment with butt loads or protection from colors and creatures, makes it fast n REALY hard to kill or deal with

Cool ive been trying to make a monoblack sac deck for a while now but some key cards i was trying to use are bitterblossom, smokestack, reassembling skeleton, abyssal persecutor, phyrexian obliterator, and that black card thats almost exactly like fling

I cant seem to get it to work as smoothly as id like though, but i think youd like the bitterblossom + smokestack + abyssal persecutor setup
