I agree Scavanging Ooze is a lifesaver at times so can't argue with your reasoning when you don't have access to Deathrites just yet :) The deck is very solid, personally I can not wait for JiN to come out so there are more Golgari toys to play with!

Like the deck but with the highest creature being 4CMC is the ramp really required? Could maybe swap out the Elvish Mystic for something else, maybe Deathrites?

Added the sideboard now. Archetype of aggression comes in against weenie decks to ensure damage gets dealt, Slaughter Games and Dreadbore against control/planeswalker decks. Bile blight and charm come in against devotion deck. Any thoughts?

Yeah I am benching my G/B until JiN gets released (fingers crossed for an OP god lol) playing R/B with a splash of white for a change of pace :)

It does look a very fun deck, I found it while trying to get some ideas of what to do with G/B in standard just now :)

This is very similar to a deck made by Conley Woods (called Golgari Dredge even though dredge is not a mechanic in the current standard) which was shared over on channelfireball, should give you an idea for the sideboard :)

edit: found a deck link on SCG http://sales.starcitygames.com/deckdatabase/displaydeck.php?DeckID=61135

I am loving all the mill decks that are cropping up latley, I have made a combo Mill deck that has the potential to mill and entire library in one turn. Please have a look and see what you think :)

With the amount of pump you have would it be an idea to squeeze in a couple of Flesh//Blood could provide lethal damage without even having to swing :)

Have always loved this combo and never realised how Favor opens the board up so much, well done :)

Ha, splashing black for tutors would be great, would have to devote my entire sideboard to making it a four colour deck lol

Can't claim credit myself, but it was a combo mentioned in an article on SCG, gave me the idea and finally got round to putting it together, only problem I have is with the side board :)

Like the idea of staying more to one colour and just splashing black. have you thought of Triton Tactics so you can repeat the mill (it also gives +3 toughness for an even greater mill the second time you tap them). I have made a Mill deck myself but have gone for more of a hybrid brew. Nykthos + Mind Grind is an awesome idea :)

Would maybe add Sanguine Bond as another combo enabler instead of relying on just the guildmage. Like the idea :)
