Abzan and B/W heroic I still feel confortable with, my only hope against U/B control just now is that I am faster with having no CIPT lands, will be testing this deck this week before the PPTQ. Fingers crossed :)

I like the idea and may find space in my sideboard for it, a lot of sweepers will be sided out for game 2 so will be a nice surprise :)

Thank you all for the likes and suggestions. Was not expecting this deck to receive such a good reception, will be sleeving this up for an upcoming PPTQ and will report back. Quite excited :)

I toyed with vault but feel Ugin does a similar job and provides a bit of reach.

Ugin is just that good. i would not leave home without him in anything besides an aggro deck!

Thoughtseize removes most of Abzans threats and Abzan run 0 coutners so all my removal will resolve, don't fear this matchup. B/W heroic is where the executioners come in, with even one siege on khans mode I can keep the one big threat that B/W presents off the board.

my big fear is U/B control, mainly it does what i want to do but better (played it myself before brewing this baby) I think an empty the pits may be needed for the control matchup, wait for them to flash in PLa and when they are tapped out, go wide!

Yawgmoth is not in as don't want to anble my opponenets black mana, the best thing about this deck is that it runs 0 CIPT lands, means you can get removal up quicker :)

There are a lot of double mana requirements for your creatures and Downfall, have you thought of swapping the mystics for Caryatids? would provide a bigger wall and allow for easier mana fixing :)

Never knew fabricate existed lol This is why I am falling in love with modern, so much to discover! I like the idea of fabricate as a tutor as I was just going to rely on card draw to find my pieces :)

I like the glimpse the unthinkable in this build, How have you found gnaw to the bone in the burn matchup? I have been using Feed the clan recently and find it always gives more more life, no flashback though so there are pros and cons to both :)

Thanks for the input, the birds were just leftovers from previous iterations but thanks for the Fatestitcher pointer! that change is definatley happeing, I am liking Drown in Filth as it chucks more cards in the yard than darkblast and does more damage as well, darkblast is in the side for Delver matchups and the likes.

I know this deck will never be tier 1 but it is fairly a cheap entry into modern until I can get my tezzeret UB build together :)

Fair enough, I tried Sidisi Whip briefly and was not too impressed, most likley as I was still tying to port in the old G/B dredge deck of old standard. Might have to try it out again, the deck seems to putting in decent results of late so might have to give it another bash :)

Have made some changes, as can be seen from the updated decklist. Removed Thoughtseize and replaced with 3 Sultai Charm and a Silence the believers, also dropped an Aetherspouts for a Hornet Queen, I don't mond having no turn 1 plays as I am really looking for either a turn two Caryatid or the Mana for a Bile Blight. The deck has been performing better being more reactive than proactive. I still might try and squeeze Despise in the sideboard :)

Have you thought about commune instead of the Weavers? The weavers do have nice synergy with Sidisi but I ran Sidisi whip briefly and always thought there was something better I could be doing with that three mana.

Commune would lower the curve a little, fill the yard and lets you grab the all important whip :)

I was thinking of replacing with just more removal, have 3 charm main and a single silence the believers. the sideboard space from the main decked charms can be taken up with more drown in sorrow to help the aggro match-up

No Godsend? You are already running plains as your landbase or are you trying to keep to colourless artifacts?

I like this non budget version :) I am planning on making alterations to my own deck now that waste not is out, have been proxying recently and it is not consistant enough, have you thought of past in flames, provides flashback for your own cards that get dumped. Keep up the good work!

Well have played a few games on mtgo and the deck is running very well, things I have learned; Do not keep a hand that has no combo pieces in, kept a few hands with plenty of draw etc but was dead before the combo went off, being able to play from the graveyard is huge, playing a discarded ravens crime pushed through the final points of damage a number of times. Not played against any of the big decks yet but hoping my proxied deck can get some testing at my local shop :)

Got round to the sideboard, I think it covers most bases any further suggestions? Also edited the main land base due to the inclusion of blood moon.
