I'm a fan of a good old fashion "whoops my hand is empty" draw spell and that is lots of cards for not a lot of mana . Most of my spells are one drops or zero drops so I can afford it and I'm only looking for combo pieces at that so I can afford to discard all but one.

Pyroclasm is usually better for this case

I believe you can activate the ability in response to the switch bit that would invalidate the switch possibly and you wouldn't get their artifact. However elixir is usless to them since it will go back into your library if they use it.

Looks good. I think something that kills the little guys you give them might be a good idea or perhaps a card to stall early on while you set up. Whipflare or pyroclasm work good at both those tasks.

I would run three of those in any combinationn of the two.

As for the land it looks like you have more blue sources than you need still. I would dial back on the islands and add more mountains or maybe some sulfur falls of you aim to keep the blue sources high in number.

okay so i assume the gruul charm is to gain control of each permanent you own again so you can just take peoples for free. a rather effective idea but it adds a third color which can make the land base a bit more difficult. the green is going to (best case) only be coming from a duel land. the blue will have very little that doesn't come from duals mostly because its also a minor player compared to the red. the charm could be turned into maybe two more brands and two rough/tumble if you want to drop the green which would make the land base much easier.

before i suggest a land base it would be helpful to know what you have to work with. for example do you want to run shocks and checks or guildgates.

And it is sad that people almost can't be noticed without shaless plugging anymore. I miss the new decks page being the front page. It made things so much easier.

This seems like a fun idea.

Unfortunately I can only.view a few cards with the time I have left on my lunch break or I would be happy to help you out with the lands. To mark this deck so I can come back later I'm gonna leave this comment.

Also while I'm here maybe you would like to help me out in my new http://www.mtgvault.com/clawzizking/decks/pick-my-next-deck-design/

Looks like the curve is too high on the two. I would find some two drops that can be subbed out for some turn one threats to keep your tempo up. That way you aren't playing defense the whole game. Also some three and four drops to make a more even curve. This deck seems like it's biggest problem is that it has no early game and no late game crushing blows. Blue green works well with mill and big monsters like craterhoof that helps make everything a threat. Sylvain primordial and deadeye navigator paired makes some good kills

Only issue I see is a large amount if enchantments that have only a few creatures to go on who aren't very removal resistant. I would recommend something like fienslayer paladin from m14 as he is resistant to most removal and will give you lifelink and first strike in the same body. Mix that with some of the enchantments that give high power increases and he will be a serious problem for your opponent. With all the enchantments I would add a playset of ethereal armor (like 10.cents a piece) in here. I would also drop.the daily regiment and both arrests. Along with perhaps the indestructible enchantment if you don't use it often. The martial law is situation based but I like it actually. Also as much as mikaeus is awesome he would be better as a champion of the parish or maybe a soldier of the pantheon.

i see. if you wanted to fix this sthing i would
drop the eidolons, the sheep andthe coin smiths.
add some doom blades and maybe some tragic slip since that can be used on anything
maybe swap the whip and the crypt incursions for some more crypt ghasts to keep the mana moving a bit more evenly.

a good deck to run morbid effects is one that runs at least 10 removal spells or other forms of killing tools.

and as for help on other decks i would be happy to look. black white is my best type of list but i am becoming good with just about anything.

any deck in particular you want help with?

this deck could work. it just needs to bring the curve down a bit and get some more harsh creature removal. black white has a plethora of effective ways to control ones opponents. picking the right ones is the tricky part.

what was the problem you had most often with this deck.
