So. With little spot removal how well does this deck handle a aggro attack style of combat? I know the deck runs on the principle of controlling your opponents cards and extraction is one of the two elements of magic I'm trying to work on understanding myself lately seeing as it's something you can only learn by doing (much like I had a friend as no me to teach him how a tempo deck works and I groaned) . I am curious if you've used this deck against any creature based decks and I how it works out I know this deck has been up a while but it would be awesome to gain a bit more understanding of it.

Politeness is missing ^

Also although grizzy is banned many other good demons that aren't are also missing from this deck list. Had grislebrand not been banned he would be a very important piece.

Yeah. That sounds about right. I own a few of them and I just don't use them. they seem unfair and kinda boring to win a game with really. One or two is fine especially when you are being competitive but I don't use them outside of that.

i always liked merfolk. the advantages of blue with the combat style of a white deck. very well done. its strange that this is the first time ive seen a true name in one of these (always thought he deserved a spot in these decks).

Seems like a decent format idea. I will give it a shot.

This is... Interesting. I see the objective is to last. But for that to work I see a need for some life gain. With all the high toughness perhaps wall of reverence would work. Just found this in the deck searcher whilst looking for gargoyles

Could use some more card types to trigger the goyf. Someone suggested rancor but that never hits grave. I personally like armadillo cloak or unflinching courage for the life gain and trample. Also helps with tarmogoyf.

All in all a great idea and a very good deck.

I believe harmonize is modern and a bit better than jaces ingenuity. Four mana instead of five

Bant forever one of the best three color combos. Don't even have that many suggestions for how to better this deck. Would like to see some detention sphere main board but I have no idea what would be able to come out.

Found a rather good answer to "destroy all enchantment" cards. And it fits in the five drop slot. Also helps ramp sanctum

Not bad. I see the trick with mindslaver and bringer. That's rather clever. Also orims chant on the stick is a dirty trick. But a good one

Is this a real argument.

It's situational. Firespout is meant to hit the ground pounders while a flier on their side (pestermite) is untouched.

Anger of the gods does infact answer many decks in modern including melira pod which is always a difficult deck to handle if it has time to setup. It also answers to scavenging ooze.

In this deck player would be vest running the spout mainboard and siding the anger since it has a relatively good application and this deck runs few creature who would be killed by it.

Spot removal sided. Prison and sphere are actually there to get the mana they do manage to scrape through. Many players manage to drop creatures that need be held back until I hit the sweeper. Mana being spent to attack helps get those lands that were untapped before winter orb hits

perhaps something like bear umbra would be fun. that'll hit grave. also something like overrun would help inhere since the goyf and vengevine which are the primary beaters are lacking trample without a rancor attached. but that hydra would definitely be one of my choices.
