A rather cool deck. Not sure how often evangel will.be useful.seeing as most of the other critters in the deck are eldrazi.

A cool idea. Needs a few one drops and a land or two and it should run rather well

Now this certainly seems interesting.

An interesting concept. Not quite sure about the dragons but unlike the use of tron tonsummon an assortment of golems and whatnot. Having said that I do think there are some places you could clean this up a bit and make it faster. One of the things I would do is look into a affinity for artifacts creatures (especially the one who gives all your artifacts affinity which means once he is out the deck mostly becomes free spells that you can throw with bosh) seeing as you like the dragons in the deck I'm assuming inwould recommend also looking at the one from ravinica block that allows you tonwin by controling a certain amount of artifacts.

If you need I can go more in depth on cards. Happy building

i don't often say this but i love this deck idea. i don't see it winning any tournaments anytime soon but i see it doing wonderfully in casual games of all kinds. i assume you're running the evolving wilds for mana fixing but since your mana curve is so green intensive i would see about going with maybe a two color land that is budget friendly. temple of mystery seems to be going down every day and they come with the benefit of the scry which really can help in many games. yavimaya is a bit faster and is relatively readily available but possibly a bit more expensive :) happy building.

Just realized I never had a chance to reply to this. Not a bad deck. I used to have some counter spells in here and a playset of feeling of dread but I've since dropped them for more spirits since I felt the deck didn't really need them. In most games I apply enough pressure to survive until I hit cyclonic rift at which nothing my opponentbhas in play really matters anymore. I definitely like your build though.

A few cards to consider.

-Rot shambler.
-Naturalize in this case would be a better answer to artifacts and enchantments.
-Lots of black and no removal seems kinda wasteful so doomblade might be nice or drown in sorrow if you like more death with your spells.
-If you're looking for a universal answer to things and aren't too scared of spending a bit of money maelstrom pulse seems to fit into the three drop slot rather well here.
-I would drop then verdant catacombs for money reasons and maybe for for shocks (overgrown tomb)
-I would also look into your five drop slot as it seems a bit full. Maybe take out a primordial or two and drop the flies since its a bit slow for this deck.
-If your playing with friends and .Want a decent finisher one or two vraska the unseen might help.
-I would also only run 3 corpsejack menace since he can. Occasionally be a bit of a dead draw early game.

For a first deck this looks pretty good. A good thing to think us the mana curve should look like the first hill on a roller coaster. Top of the hill at one and down from there. The steeper the hill the faster you go but the less time you have to have fun.

Gotta say I like the whole prowess thing. All I would recommend is a few cards such as defiant strike and bandage to help keep your hand alive and moving since white doesn't often draw cards which kills your momentum in this deck. Definitely keep your emerge and call to serve. I would also say to add favored hoplite since he like to be a target of all the cheap spells in here and his heroic triggers are a lot like the prowess triggers only the growth is permanent.

Why not just cast undying evil on triskelion? It's a one drop in your colors and wins the game rather fast. Just occurred to me that he was even in here. And seems like a good list of cards. Assuming that the disenchantment wasn't necessary against the people you play with.

Thanks. And I thought about coat of arms and door of Destiny. Unfortunately they are a little high on mana cost and I have 11+ anthems. I will however toy about with them. Thanks for the suggestions.

Nasty decks i know from last time i sat in in modern are: affinity (usually a mass bounce/destroy artifacts spell handles them. I think hurkylls recall is the name of one or something like that), splinter twin (this one hates strong removal. The dismembers you have can kill spellskite but I'd recommend looking for additional spells to slow them down since with twin the best thing you can do is stall them out looking for another twin), abzan midrange (merfolk can usually race them pretty well from what I've seen), scapeshift (hate this deck but it's good. Here you want some counterspells for the shift. I've only ever seen this deck not played it so I don't have much t o offer) ad nauseum (uncommon but not too hard to kill. Just counter the ad naudeum and the deck is awful. Cheap counters aim for the mana rocks or ad nauseam but be ready for a playset of remand they almost always have). Black discard is just something you'll have to race I guess. I know in a lot of cases cards like krosan grip are good to keep in the sideboard for a lot of matchups. Best of luck. Sorry I cant help too much on the sideboard. Havent exactly been competitive in a while.

Now this looks aggressive. I like it. I'd recommend testing it a bunch before investing in the cards like the monastery mentor but it has a pretty good chance to catch people off guard.

I'd also look into sideboard cards to handle some of the popular strategies in standard. Smite the monstrous helps with Dragon deck. Is also look into some cards to handle enchantments. But other than that it looks good.

They recently printed a nastier blood artist that might work better in this deck. It's called zulaport cutthroat I believe. And honestly I used to play competitive but I found spending time with friends playing fun or jank decks is way more fun.

Alright. If that's the case here's what I would do. Drop strong arm and pacifism for a playset of defiant strike and three one drop creatures. Most curves when you want to not get run over in aggro stop at four unless it breaks the game in your favor.

I'd also look into cards like secure the wastes for something that makes guys and triggers monastery mentor.

Nice. I completely forgot about the rats. Them plus slumlord is just nasty effectiveness. And no problem. I'd actually like to hear your opinion on some of my decks. It's not usually for me to run into causal players on vault anymore. Especially ones who know there stuff.

This is devious. I like it. How's it do in modern ?

This seems fun as all heck to play. Little issue with the emphasis on five mana in the curve but since it's for fun play and runs in groups sometimes you just need that boost later down the curve. Normally I would say to reduce the crusades and slumlord to 3 each for a pair of read the bones but it seems you have the draw under control with all the skullclamp targets so maybe a wrath effect of some sort incase things get out of control? Maybe a crew of tenacious dead for more guys that come back. All in all this seems solid (especially for playing for fun)

Gotta say. Still live mono white decks. Also appreciate that it's standard.

I would however recommend running the valorous stance in mainboard. Monastery mentor can be a big target and indestructible is very useful. Besides it's not just a protective spells it does the whole removal dance pretty well . Probably would drop the grasp enchantment. Enchanting things is nice but it has a tendency to get 2 for 1'd

Strongarm seems amazing but a little mana intensive .Kinda curious how he's working for you.

I do like this deck though. It seems like it could put some real damage down range.

This is an interesting deck. Maybe a bit inconsistent but fun and can get a little out of hand if left time to set up
