Yeah, that is true, I think I would run it sideboard then (incase there playing black) I do like your thinking with it, it does it's job well, but still colorless land or (swamp) is still land even if it cost the other player 2 life by choice. You may want to add Nighthaze, giving Nantuko Shade swampwalk then pumping up doing some serious damage, plus drawing a card is very helpful.

Captivating Vampire would be a good choice in this deck, pumping up your cheap vampires for more damage, so they can even get bigger when the other player drops past 10. I'm questioning Contaminated Ground though, I don't really see any real need for this in this deck only mild damage (by choice) I would see if you gave your creatures swampwalk and used it to make them unblockable but other then that, there really isn't much need for it.

Nice deck, I bet you can do some serious damage in a short period of time, whats the turn count on average playing this deck, so far the hand samples I tried it looks very fast.

Nice looking deck, the only thing I could see hurting you is mana production for your creatures, you are pretty left open until turn three to six depending on your draw, I would toss in some mana producers maybe run four Leaden Myr or Plague Myr for that added mana boost. Also a great creature to run is Myr Sire for two mana, if it dies it's followed by another in it's place giving you that extra time to start playing your Demon and Wurm. Also Go for the Throat is an excellent choice it's like a Terror but can also target black creatures, you may want to toss in a few of these too for some creature control. Contagion Engine is great too but I would add only two being six mana instead replace the other two with two Contagion Clasp for faster counter abilities.

Being a donation deck you really should try running the old timeless combo Donate and Illusions of Grandeur I still have a deck based around it, pretty easy gain 20 life donate Illusions of Grandeur to the other player and let them worry about the upkeep because if they don't pay it, they lose 20 life.

If you would like to check out the deck the link is below...

Khalni Hydra, is a great idea for this deck if you do run Elves, Arbors or Birds in this deck, it would be a better idea to run them then the Terra Stompers and could be played a whole lot faster.

Instead of Harrow you may want to try Awakening Zone, each turn brings out a 0/1 you could use as blockers until you start to get the bigger guys out or even sacrifice them for the mana to play them. Also you can never go wrong with a Naturalize or two, other then that nice looking deck.

Nice looking deck, I know a wicked deck I did for control was Bribery and Panoptic Mirror, just think every turn with the Panoptic Mirror and Bribery you could search there deck for any creature and play it from there own deck. Another idea instead of Mind Control or Domestication you should run some Treachery's same cost as Mind Control but after you play it you untap all your lands used to play it like your Rewind.

I know that like you said your deck is not based around Kiln Fiend, but it maybe a good idea to add a few Assault Strobe to the deck to double up any damage plus adds another +3/+0 to the Kiln Fiend. It's a great idea for any deck using Kiln. Another idea is adding Reverberate to your deck can you imagine if you had a Pyromancer Ascension in play with counters needed to play it's ability, and play Lightning Bolt and Reverberate, doing a copy over copy of Lightning Bolt.

Nice idea, now for the Spellbook I don't know if you really need this as one of the 0 artifacts, you always could go with Urza's Bauble (it ables you to draw an extra card next turn) or a Paradise Mantle or Bone Saw both good equipments and both cost 0. You could also add red instead of blue (but keep the Pact of Negation as insurance) Then add some mana producers like Pyretic Ritual, Seething Song or Rite of Flame. Plus add some 0 casting Kobold's and a couple Storm Entity or Grapeshot just in case you don't get a Tendrils of Agony on your draw step.

Interesting deck, but there are so cards you could replace with others and have better usages I would replace your Rise from the Grave with Beacon of Unrest allowing you to play creatures or artifacts from any graveyard then goes right back into your deck, (Rise from the Grave is for more Zombie decks) Gloomlance with Go for the Throat, only 2 to play just without the one card discard. Angel of Mercy with Battlegrace Angel gain life through the game giving creatures lifelink if they attack instead of the just 3 life. Child of Night with Vampire Nighthawk has Deathtouch, Lifelink and Flying for one more mana and being a 2/3. These are just a couple ideas if interested.

Being red and blue, I see the combos you are trying to play are a bit..... expensive I don't see why you don't add a couple Master Transmuter's and some Etherium Sculptor, the Transmuter you could play some cheap artifacts that add mana or with zero casting cost then trade them out with her. The Etherium Sculptor would be great to bring down the cost of Urza's Armor, Pariah's Shield, or Stuffy Doll. And with red I find Shivan's Meteor works great with Stuffy Doll (Even for suspend 2) and with a Furnace of Rath in play that would be a total of 26 damage to Stuffy Doll (Seething Songs are great for mana for this too). I did your deck challenge with Pyrohemia, it actually turned out very well then I expected played it today, thanks for the idea to base a deck around it, if you would like to check it out.

Seething Songs are great for playing stuffy doll too, five mana for two colorless and one red.

Shivan Meteor is always a great idea for a Stuffy Doll deck, 13 damage for five mana, or suspend 2 for three mana. Have a Furnace of Rath in play that's 26 damage.

Rings of Brightearth would be a wicked card if you could play it multiple times, if that would be the case the combos for it would be outrageous, infinite damage and creature decks out the ass, plus the price for one of them would jump up to about the price of about 50 bucks a card (heavy demand) but sadly you can only use it's ability once. The reason is the Rings of Brightearth have a triggered ability that gives you two options and only two options: (Pay nothing or pay 2) The option allowing you to pay mana specified a specific amount of mana, so you cannot pay any amount of mana other than 2 for that ability it allows you to pay. If you choose to pay said 2, then you copy the activated ability that triggered the Rings ability and you may choose new targets for the copy. So you could pay 2 for one Wellwish, then if you had another in play you could play another 2 for the other Wellwisher. So, lets say you have one Wellwisher's in play and you had four Elves including Wellwisher you would gain, five life then with Rings another five life when you pay 2 for Rings, so only a total of 10 life per Wellwisher.

Nice looking deck, what tossing in a Lure for your Engulfing Slagwurm hell, even a Asceticism or both. I completely forgot about the Tempting Wurm, I think it would be great for a green and blue deck let them play something good or bad from there hand then just gain control of it, I find Boldwyr Heavyweights is great for this too, let them search then Control Magic.

Deck looks great, I don't know if you really need the Steely Resolve, when you have Eladamri, Lord of Leaves. Plus I noticed you have massive mana production in this deck with the Priest of Titania and Gaea's Cradle, If you have lets say five creatures in play and have one of each of the mana producers in play thats 15 mana you have to spend, the only card I see for that much mana would be the Joraga Warcaller, you may want to add some spells with X in it's casting cost or even come bigger creatures/elves. Like Enshrined Memories and a Spellbook or gain a bunch more life then the other player and then Hurricane him down to nothing. Plus, well wisher is a great card in an Elf deck but, I like Nissa Revane a whole lot better has the same ability as the Wellwisher but adds counters to it for more nicer abilities down the line.
