In Simic deck, I faced Simic Manipulator often and it can be really dangerous since he keeps taking control of all my creaturesit evolves and you have what's needed to transfer counter on him

I assume the demon will always be played using the apostle and you will empty your hand quickly, in that case you need a draw mecanic-Underworld Connectionsas a removal if you dont care too much of you apostle, you could switch doom blade with bone splinters, this way you are not screwed when you face a black deck(or keep it in sideboard when you face a black deck)Crypt Incursion would keep your life up, assuming your appostle are sacrificed often or die as blocker, you would be able to gain easily 4 or 5 times 3 life, this would compensate the life lost to draw card using underworld connection(it would do better then elixir)I dont think you need diabolic tutor, since your apostle have a search librairy already and litturgy of blood is really expensive even if it gives you back 3 mana, at the point you most likely have an empty hand unless you change something to draw more
Why Thought scour?I would probably try to choose green/black or blue/blackyou only have 6 land that would allow you dual land to enter the battlefield untapped and those land either require you to pay 2 life or come into play tapped, I would try to have more basic landDeadly allure would help you with removal since most of your creature can come back to the battlefield and it works well with regenerate and your charms

but deadly allure can be used twiceand with gravecrawler that keeps coming back, crature with undying or with regenerate, he will most likely have a creature on the battlefieldif he can remove your creature when you cast deadly allure, he can also remove your ambush viper as an instant
You should add Deadly Allure, it's standard, flashback and will likely remove an oponent's creature everytime in CMC 1
I assume you want to keep it standard-You could replace Soulmender with Cathedral sanctifier, gainning 3 life for 1 mana I think would be better then 1 life requireing to tap your creature that could be a blocker(not sure up to you)- blind obedience would slow your oponent and allow you to extort for life-Well/Alive gives you option, creature or gain life-Tablet of the guilds, would increase your gain life

but dangerous, if your oponent has a destroy artifact as an instant, he just made you lose your library
I've added 2 splinter and 2 forestTechnically I will be able to search for 2 land of my choice with a wellspring
it's a good idea, but lattice is more expensive both in $ and CMCsince i dont have much control, i wouldn't last until the 7th turn to be able to cast splinterso in order to be viable, i would need green ramp(making the deck 3 color would be harder to play or required more expensive land)

yeah i would place etched champion in hte main board and if you want to be able to draw more place a curiosity on it, it's can't be blocked by any color
I also have mind grind, with the mana produce by the defender, I usually mill the oponent to death in a single spell
My defender deck was kind of similar to thisI was using Ludovic test subject as a defender and lategame he becomes a 13/13 trampleand also Mentor of the Meek, everytime a creature with less then power 2 enter the battlefield, I can draw a card, and all defender are less then 2 power, with the kind of combo you have you can fill the board really quickly

this could fit in your deck as well Goblin Charbelcheryou probably would have the mana to activate it in turn 3 or 4and since you have no land you would dea like 50 damage and place all card back in the librairy
