ah cool beans. Are you looking for advice on how to make it better? More casual? more dickery?

In my casual environment we like long games of move and countermove. Also there is this one douchebag who play exclusively aggro decks and doesn't own a deck with anything above a 3 drop (except his edh deck which is kalia of the vast so more aggro). But i digress, I suppose aggro itself isn't douchey, its just our casual environment has a warped meta because of one turd. more importantly, you play zero cost counters on your kitchen table? so janky.
Well we will have to agree to disagree. Anyway, on to something more constructive. I feel slither head would be a better choice in this deck than dreg mangler. It would give you more one drops (evening out your curve) and goes very nicely with bloodhall ooze.
add more lands to start with there are only 4 in here
you have 64 cards in here, have you just not finished the deck yet? or was that intentional?
This seems to be in the position however even of a very strong aggro deck for casual. I know because I've built casual decks with dark ritual and skull clamp, and learned the hard way that what is and what is not casual depends on the playgroup but if you bring something to strong to the group, it may start an arms race, and then people are playing reanimator decks with turn one jin gitaxis, isochron silence, and tournament quality merfolk legacy decks. I guess i blew up my casual environment awhile back so I keep just harp on everyone who says their deck is casual, when it looks to strong. Well ignore my gloom and doom I don't know your casual environment.
Creakwood is very good, its also a 4 drop, by the time you can play it the game will be over or over the next turn. I'm not trying to be mean, I'm trying to tell you this is a good modern deck, not a good legacy deck.
Have you seen merfolk legacy vs. goblins legacy? The deck is good, would crush most modern decks, but it wouldn't be able to compete in a legacy tournament that's all I'm saying. In fact I think besides the land base your deck is modern.
I dunno, Im not sure this could seriously compete with the legacy deck i see. I mean It doesn't even play any blatantly overpowered cards.
Hmmm, If your playing legacy blue, illusions are the wrong tribe to roll with. Just saying. Anyway it looks fine.
Faithless does chuck things in your graveyard to help power up ascension even faster.
bonescythe sliver i believe.
He maybe really likes swiftfoot boots.
seems absurbly expensive to the point of insanity. Not to mention its not even that great at what it does. There doesn't seem to be really any control in here.
well you asked for ways to improve it and that would improve it.
hmmmthe new white double strike sliver?
hmmm, explorers scope? As it looks like adventuring gear for more power is simple overkill.
I'm just gonna say that the weakness of this deck seems to be card draw, and splashing blue for fathom mage and zameck guild mage. Giving you ridiculous card draw. Just a thought. However that would completely change the feel of the deck.
It looks good and all its just . . . Uril is one of those hyper voltron un-fun commanders. Cause he either wins the game on turn 6 or he gets sent back to the command zone a couple times (counterspell or boardwipe) and then never does anything ever again. All i can say is don't play him with friends.
I see no elvish archdruid in here, nor do i see any immaculate magistrate. Also I'm just gonna say joraga war caller.
