They do work well its just keeping the balance, and I've picked another couple up recently so I can add them buts its the old what can I afford to loose thing, everything in here serves a purpose, cheers for the comment it does confirm how well they work.

Ha ha what are the chances I've just come on here to add x2 small pox and here u are commenting on the same thought, great minds mate, I'm sticking 2 in at the expense of the culling dias as they are ment as an alternative to the skull clamp if they don't come out but in truth are to slow, and the smallpox will still force them to sac a creatuire rather than relying on the culling dias teaming up with the gravepact, I'd add 2 more however as I agree there perfect in here and I'd like 4 to guarentee getting one early as I've seen an early small pox just wreck decks, but not sure what else I can loose, any advice ?

Greg above makes a good point that the bloodghast work very well in here but again its what to loose

ive built this and been play testing it 1 on 1 its quiet quick but mana curve seems a little off perhapse need some cheap 3 cost artifact creatures or more 1 drops for the affinity spells, ive added x 2 shatter as good utility and also are as good as lightning bolts when thinking of the ruthless invasions coming into play later so it dosent hurt me to carry x 2 in the main deck, i quiet like this one, thinking a few mox's wouldnt go a miss ?

i like it land seems to come out a little better now, and it does what it says on the tin, casts big demons fast, Umezawa's Jitte, i presume its just for some life back !, i think x 1 is acceptable as you now have the tutoring of the Rune-Scarred Demon, same with the cruicible of worlds, the deck is tight now in terms of if you put anything in what would you take out, that means its getting there, build it and play it i say, looks good to me,
personaly i think the Umezawa's Jitte, is not the best and would also run the risk of dropping the cruicble of worlds, i know there saftey cards but only x 1 of each they will rarley come out and so the deck can clearly function without them, i know its a risk running without them it basically makes the game a race, you may take some damage reanimating, but your aim is to do more to them in responce fast, i think loosing these two in favour of a better balance would let the deck flow on more occassions, i'd add just 1 more swamp and, i more buried alive, in saying all this as discussed the rune-demons let you tutor cards so they may come out more than you think, so its just prefernce really id play test it, but these are the combination of cards i would switch in and out to see how it plays with and without, but yes stirling effort, ive liked it from the begining it looks more focused now well done.

drain life type cards such as profane command just wasnt fun enough although i did win this way, but with so much mana from the cofferes and frequent board wipping through mutilates and pestilence i like the batter skulls casue i can always return to hand and replay meaning ive always got a creature to start rebulding after a wipe also good equips on my big creatures and give the life back.

i really like this deck ive been experimenting with new phyrexia, take a look at my rage extractor deck i did want to include soul conduit in there but it didnt quiet fit, however in here it seems that you just strip your life with the new phyrexia casts asap with the unlifes and the tutors to find the new life's taking the risk out then switch totals, look scaryily effective, is the ramp just to cast the conduits and switch asap as i can see why else you need all the ramp, as surley your better off using pain over the coloured mana being a bit more gung hoe and relying on the unlifes to save you ?

good deck !

well i cant argue with any of that it all makes sence and shows how well thought out your deck is, the ability to recover from a doj quicker than most particulay with inkmoths and equipment scattered around is what i was driving at, so yes maybe thats worth some play testing, good look with it, when it does rotate out you should post a v2 version to see how it evolves but keep this posted also as i thionnk they may run slightly different it will be good to comapre the two, wel done mate, i'll check your others asap,

please take a look at my rage extractor, golem deck and cast your eye over my responces to your commenst on my other decks i appreciate you took the time to look at several, thank you.

ive just pulled off a few sample hands and your land looks tight, now i know you can reanimate early for a big creature and hit fast but its all a bit tight you need all the right cards early a few more lands would give you breathing space with the lakes of the dead and allow you to saftley bring the bloodghasts back if you get into trouble with the xathrids, i personaly would drop tainted strike i think the decks fast enough without trying for the short kill with infect also you gotta be doing 10 in one go, with one creature or you need x 2 tainted strike throughout the game

just a thought i really love this deck and think its looking very good right now.

exactly !, well i think if you run the rune-scarred demons then you want to reanimate them, as youve just stated only costs you three, and if you use it to fetch another reanimate to repeate the process then you need to have another demon waiting in the graveyard, this puts a bit more of a requirment on the deck to put more cards into the graveyard so hence the extra buried alives

on the claws of valakut replacment trumpet blast give sthem all +2 +0 for the same mana as the 1st strike isnt an issue, one thought on this is that i will need the mana to cast this after the concussive bolt or ruthless invasion, where the claws can go on the turn before, the bolt or invasion should still be a suprise to them as should the attack following it , mmmm ?

hello mate thanks for the comments, problem i have is; i dont want to rely entirly on ruthless invasion !, so pulling the concussive bolt off matters to this deck, there fore so does the metalcraft, now to pump the shrines you mention i need to be playing frequent either red spells and or white spells and i think going two colours and needing lots of spells in each is to much to ask and will slow this down, i also then loose the convienience of the oxidda, golem and koth, of course, i am feeling you on rally the forces although i suspect there might be an even better option around somewhere but yes spreading the damage around sounds good, although claws of valkult does stay on permanently as opposed to an instant till the end of turn, and the idea with this is that they cant block anyway so shouldnt need the 1st strike, i shall look around for something that possibly divides the boost across all creatures though, as i'm always wary of a doomblad or such on the biggest creature, many thanks i like this one i want it to work, any further thoughts are appreciated

no problem what about the new guy in 12th rune-scarred demon , hes a 6/6 for six no down side you can reaninate him go 2 fetch another reanimate with him then use that to reanimate another demon (if you run him i'd consider the extra 2 buried alive)

hi mate thanks for all your comments on my last decks, i knew i could rely on you, please visit back to see how they get on, i intend to take much of your very good advice, ok this deck, i can see your proud of it and rightly so, i think it has a good balance between speed in the way it flows and its ability to stall and mess with your opponent,( grand abolisher) i really like the flayer husks in here i can see how they work so well particualy in conjunction with the puresteel palladins i mean its no risk for 1 mana right !, to pick up on your conversation with AzraelTheSlain, could you not use blink moth, over ink moth ?, then again its double the damage for a win condition, but in more general terms it would still boost the metal craft and proberly provide a more general synergy with the rest of the deck, i think what you say about getting through with a sword attached to a moth (be it blinkmoth or inkmoth) dosnt really matter what does is that the sword kicks in, i can particualy se ehow these kick in after a day of judgment, i'd even consider having x 2 doj in the main deck body for this senario, lmao i was gonna suggest sun titan, but there they are hidding in your sideboard lol, looks like you have covered most things,
one thought the equip cost is less on lightning greaves then on swiftfoot boots and with so many weenies you could always move it off onto another creature place all your other equipment onto it then requip with the greaves at no extra cost, but this does mean they have a window to shhot your creature when you do this so its a trade off.

top bombing this deck is amigo well done, i'll be getting round your others asap.

Alternativly, bloodthrone vampire would be a good early creature to dump in the graveyard as you can always reanimate it or cast it if in hand to deal with any demons that may become tapped and deal damage to you or stop you from winning the game they go well in my fast black deck containing abyssal persecutors

Hi mate thanks for the comments on my golem deck I have replied and hope you can leave further thoughts, anyway I thought I'd check your decks and I'm glad I did I'm now a follower, and I really like this deck, 1stly because its a good build but also because demons are the coolest damn thing, who wants angels or elfs or damn cats when you can have demons and hellfire lol, demons are not like ghosts who are people passing over but are creatures who's pure existance is to cause harm, what could be cooler !, lmao geeky fan rant over, but seriously demons are fast powerfull and often have a downside to manage is recompsence so are a fun build I have long wanted an entire demon deck, but after a few attempts agree how hard it is to pull off, I really like how you have gone about it here its a good solid way of making them work, I do fear that as you need smaller creatures in the grave to reduce the cost of the tombstalkers that you don't have enough in here to effectivly power them, although I accept you have other ways of getting them into play such as animate dead following an entomb ect, and really like that aspect to the deck, reassembling skellington would be another early low cost creature to get on the board and like the bloodghasts you can fetch them back, I'd consider running some, and also skullclamps as a way of getting them into the graveyard and getting you cards as well you could also do this with the bloodghasts you'll be getting cards as well negating the need for crucible of worlds as you'll draw land and so get the bloodghasts back, in fact maybe consider demons of death gate over the tombstalkers as you can get back the creatures you sac to em, just ideas mate, like I say I really like so much of this deck, all very cool well done. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
