Mostly because of the cost, though if you had them, they would be near perfect for the deck, so by all means, add them!

Not at all! That's why I make these decks, for fun casual games full of references.

I tried making something like this myself, you can take a look at it yourself and judge it if you want, I would appreciate it.

As for your deck, mana definitely will not be an issue with you, but what will be is the amount of it. Your land base is a little high, and you might find yourself drawing into lands instead of the gods you need. Now, sphix rev and scry lands can help with this, but what you really need are ways to dig through your deck quicker, I've found that the new Ajani, the new Garuuk, and even Commune with the Gods are all great cards to help you get those gods.

Good luck!

Infernal Tutor was not my first choice, but looking back now, I definitely have enough tutors to be able to do away with one or two of the bad ones.
Given that I will be playing multiple tutors throughout the game, as well as mana ramping to the heavens, Yawgmoth's Will can definitely be used to set up a game winning state very easily.
As for spot removal of my artifacts while Phage is on the stack, if given time, I would try to get out my Darksteel Forge to limit the removal to simply exile, limiting the threats to mostly white.

There are three ways to get around that, Platinum Angel, Torpor Orb, and Sundial of the Infinite, the deck's basis is to tutor for them and cast Phage.

I completely forgot about DR, thanks, and as for Moor, it's just for cycling.

Given the large amount of both artifacts and creatures, War Report could be sideboard-able, if agro becomes a problem.

I believe that Cranial Plating was already called, but I would like to reaffirm that this card would be good, even if you do not have the base to instant speed equip.

Academy Ruins can help you get certain artifacts back, if they are needed.

I love the deck series. Might I suggest doing the 7 Deadly Sins next?

I had actually tried to make my own version of this deck yesterday, although it was ineffective and depressingly bad.

Anyway, just a few cards to think about, mostly for flavor, but they can be useful.
Aurelia, the War Leader
Master Warcraft
Glory of Warfare

One of my friends once had a deck like this, it kicked my butt, Thanks Obama.

One card I would consider would be Vigil for the Lost, it can be good for a late game mana sink, when your creatures are going to be hitting the grave in droves.

Etched Champion is a good card, if your deck is full of artifacts, and Vedalken Orrery will allow you to flash cast that Mycosynth Lattice, also an Unwinding Clock for your artifacts
