Thanks for the advice and I will check out Gen Wave, very embarrassing about the myojin, but I think I'll move to either Worldspine Wurm or Gaea's revenge. I'm not sure I want to shift towards the modern devotion style

Fetches smooth my draws, as Rayne will tell you below :) But you do have a good point about aggro, I lost a game to amulet bloom because I was knocked down to 1 and couldnt fetch to play see the unwritten, however playing the 24 forests version just wasn't as good. If you make the deck, feel free to make the change

As good as mistcutter Hydra is, the X cost puts me off, something like Gaea's revenge maybe would work better?

I was thinking of vexing shusher main board, and I do very much like Gaea's revenge, I'm hoping that, since the low number of counter/control, there aren't that many counterspells that aren't remand are flying around, but you have helped, thanks!

It would work in standard? Best guess and I think I'd agree with him it seems a little unreliable

Abzan has thoughtseize of its own and better creatures than you, U/W doesn't mind losing 1 creature, and then they munch you with the rest, and U/B will NEVER tap out to play PLA because that leaves them wide open

The colours on it would point you another way, the image of doubling season and it saying 'Double Double' should really tell you its different

No, the spot removal will go some way but Abzan decks will munch through the removal, you 1 for 1 with U/W heroic and you're SO slow that U/B control will resolve an ashiok and just defend it with tonnes of counters, decks like Mardu and temur just wait till you run out and drop a bomb. Without an ability to pressure or stem the tide with board presence you need to be a powerful control deck, this deck is half way through Midrange-Control and it can't beat the dedicated midrange or control decks, and the devotion is too light to go over, which is why you kinda want to add more of them black symbols! I like herald or torment, and I'd warn you off of Master of the Feast because card advantage is so key in this standard season. This may sound quite scathing but i don't mean to be harsh
