Well, just look at the deck above you! Random cards aren't the most reliable... I don't know if any of those random decks i made are truly good. This one works fairly well in a casual scene, though.

That's fine, but a > o < face is just offensive. Try a more happy(???)face!

Sphere of Safety? He doesn't really have enough enchantments to make goof use of that... Blind Obedience is pretty awesome, though. Path of Bravery could be good as well, but i don't think Strionic Resonator is a good idea. I think it would just be unneeded overkill, and a dead card if you don't have an Archangel of Thune out.

This is a deck i made awhile ago with some cards i randomly had, I liked it so i decided to mark it down on this site. I tore it apart a few months back. Even though your advice is good, i wont be changing this thing anymore.

"If you're willing to spend extra money use the shock lands in the sideboard to make the deck much faster and more effective." A quote from the decks description.

Hinterland Harbor and Breeding Pool are in there to basically shut up anyone suggesting he use dual lands. He wants to keep it cheap, but if anyone wants to make a deck based off of this one they should use those eight lands in the main deck.

I believe you did misunderstand Mutavault's ability. It becomes a 2/2 creature with all creature TYPES. So Mutavault will benefit from cards like Diregraf Captain and Stromkirk Captain. They give creatures that share their creature type (Being vampire and zombie) certain abilities or stat boosts. Having all creature types makes Mutavault a zombie, vampire, human, angel, demon, dragon and anything else you can imagine. But unless you have a card on the battlefield that effects a creature type, then he is just a 2/2.

Angelic Skirmisher is a great card! She can give you what you need for each situation. Angel of Serenity is awesome, but her mana cost is so high i'm not sure if you'll ever be able to play her. I looked over your deck again and noticed that a lot of your cards have a small power/toughness, but that is the way of creatures who have extort. Since you have only a few powerhouse cards (i.e. Desecration Demon and Archangel of Thune) i would say that Desecration Demon will actually work fine in this deck.

Wait, Ajani is five dollars? What? That is a pretty cheap planeswalker. Good idea for the addition of more Unflinching Courages. If you need anything else, just ask!

A good start to any life gain deck is to ask, "Why am i gaining all this life?" It is best to use life gain for other purposes than just gaining life. Making your life gain cards have multiple uses is a great way to make a deck, however we run into a problem with that... Some cards that benefit from life gain the best are Ajani, Caller of the Pride and Archangel of Thune, but those are rather expensive. I would suggest try to get as many Voracious Wurms and Angelic Accords in this deck as possible. Angelic Accord will also make your populate cards more effective! I don't know if Verdant Haven and Staff of the Wild Magus are that useful though... The have very small effects and could probably have much better replacements.

I like this deck, a nice use of extort. I think you made a great sideboard for it too. Great mana curve for it as well. Now with that being said i would like to ask a few questions and make some suggestions.

I'm not fully sure why Mutavault is in here. You said that "Mutavault is good for the fact I have any creature I need," but what creature types do you need? Nothing in your deck is effected by creature types.

I assume you have Tablet of the Guilds in here to trigger Archangel of Thune's ability? If so, you could replace it with Souldmender. Soulmender adds a turn one play to your deck and its cheeper cost makes it easier to extort, it is also a way to make sure you'll gain life every turn.

Desecration Demon is a great card, but do you think there might be something else that fits this deck a little bit better?

You keep them in a deck for that reason, but when listing off the cards you need for a combo you don't need to include them. For instance this combo needs: Gilded Lotus, Archaeomancer, Sage's Row Denizen/Talrand, Sky Summoner and Ghostly Flicker. You would not say that this combo needs: Gilded Lotus, Archaeomancer, Sage's Row Denizen/Talrand, Sky Summoner, Ghostly Flicker and two Islands. The deck needs dual lands, its just that the card combo doesn't require them.

That is true, but i was saying that you don't need to put lands in your combo card list UNLESS you have a really weird costing combo that requires a bunch of dual lands.
