My favorite. I was 17-18 years old. In highschool. Me and friends would play a lot at Magic Shops. Spent lots of money on buying boosters from Saga. Then everyone moved off, to different colleges...and I quit playing magic until just recently. Mostly just making decks...i don't get to play Mtg but maybe 1 time a month, for a few hours.

Very true point. The power of Storm Crow isn't to be taken lightly. :)

I very much enjoy it! Going to be buying a copy of the Ensoul Artifact. It is just like Chief Engineer. The way you used it in your deck...i think the Ensoul Artifact will be going up in price, over the next few years.

And I like congregate in this deck. With all of your creatures, it could be a major life booster. Late game, you are looking at 8 or 10 life being gained.

Regardless, this is another really solid deck. Has all the key components to kick some butt.

Be looking out for my Red Urza Saga deck to be it's Dual.

PS...thanks for not putting in Rune Protection Red. It would of nuked me. :)

It is my favorite. It had...not sure if it still does...the most banned cards in any one expansion!

It was known as Combo Winter.
One card, in Urza block, Memory Jar, was banned in 2 weeks! The quickest any card was every banned.
Tolarian Academy came in the Urza block. Completely broken. Ruled the tourney scene.

People call me dumb for assuming it...but Richard Garfield, the person that made Magic, stepped down around this time. I fully think it is because Urza block made Magic a very serious Tourney card game. Magic went from sitting around your house playing a game like dungeons and dragons...to being hosted in 10,000 dollar Tourneys.

Just google how many cards got banned in Dec 1998.
Urza did 75 card decks. Which was new.
It started foil cards. Which was new.
Both cycle and echo was new.
Has the most banned cards.
First Artifact Legend.

In my opinion, no other expansion has been as game changing or powerful.

Nice. And the combo with Citadel and Ensoul Artifact is brutal!
20 Artifacts in the deck to use with Shrapnel Blast and Ensoul Artifact. Very nice.
And your Chief Engineer (a card that i am going to buy one copy of, at least, because I think it will be going up in price, in a few years) lowers the cost of the 20 Artifacts.

A blue trample creature, very neat.

Only card I am iffy with...but it totally works do to your Shrapnel Blast/Chief Engineer/Ensoul Artifact cards...is the Staff of the Flame Magus. The blue staff has 27 cards that work with gaining life. But the red staff only has 13 cards. So...the blue staff will be the one giving you more life. But, it totally works regardless, You can just sack the red one, if need be, to Shrapnel Blast or pump it up with Ensoul Artifact. So, it isn't a wasted card.

Another fine deck, my friend.

Totally forgot about the M15 deck!! You really are on a deckathon. :) I will get started on the red one. Will take me a day or two, though.

I was just about to say what Couch312 said. Infect is super aggro for sure, but with Infect..all it takes is one chump blocker against you..and you have lost.

Infect...of all aggro decks...is probably the easiest to disrupt. And when you disrupt an Infect deck JUST ONE TIME, it is probably going to lose. Badly. So there is a payoff for it being so powerful.

And Mtg needed to do something with poison/infect. They had 3 or 4, that weren't viable to play, poison cards for over a decade. They were just sitting their gaining dust.

I have a challenge for you, old friend.
Inspired by your black M10 deck.
Got me to thinking...an entire deck made from one expansion. I said, "what is your favorite expansion, if you had to do an entire deck centered around just one?"
My favorite is Urza's Saga. I love it. IT is my favorite.

So...maybe this could be a challenge. I give you one color. And you give me another color. And we both make decks containing only Urza Saga cards.

Could be Urza Saga Duel Decks.

Since you play with white less than any color. That would be the color I pick for you. Get back with me if you want to try it out.

Question guys. Want to build a deck around Words of Wind.

Questions: I have Words of Wind in play.
1) I play a Divination.

What happens? Do I play 1 mana to return two permanents to each player's hand. Or do I pay 1 mana to play, Divination, and get 1 permanent returned to each player? Or do i have to pay 2 mana to return 2 permanents to each player's hand.

Want to build a deck around it. Either with creatures that have special "when creature enters play" or "when creatures leave play" abilities.

Make the deck heavy with draw spells...and keep bouncing away.

And to get hot decks
1) Respond to lots of other peoples decks.
2) Give likes and friendly criticism.
3) Plug your decks.

Supersick:
"The problem I see here is that if you don't win very early you probably won't win."

That isn't exactly a problem. Infect decks and pure burn decks (and others) are built around the concept of trying to win before the 5th turn (good decks can do it in under 4) AT ALL COST. They try with all of their might to rush through control, disruption, etc. You can't win all games against all decks...and again, decks like Infect and Burn are included in that. But they will win a lot of games, and very quickly too.

But with that said, Supersick, I am sure you could build a slower infect deck with more protection/control/life gain/disruption...and it would probably turn out really good/solid...but that isn't what most Infect deck builders are worried about. Infect and speed go hand in hand. So, might as well use that to your advantage.
