Sorry, somehow I missed this posting.
Yeah, I've seen the deck in question.
Nasty stuff!

Force of Will is uncommon, and expensive as hell.
Use him too!!!!

I really like the idea behind this one.
I think you have correctly got the concept of Heroic down! Lots of people on here do not.

Noticed very few of your decks are getting love!
Sorry about that.

Let's see what you have going on here, friend.
Creature removal
Nonland removal
Creature pump
No nonbasic lands...lots of people love to splurge on nonbasic lands...up to you on doing that or not.
Blade Splicer seems forced...like he doesn't fit in with the other guys. Maybe take him out and up the Oblivion Ring?
Sun Titan won't save a lot of creatures...you might want to add some kickass equipment or enchant creatures to protect your better creatures.

All in all, fairly decent stuff :)

Speak up!
Do you have any decks you would like me to look at?
I am decent at suggesting cards :)

Nice little debate going here, guys.

I think Bouncing lands is brutal.
Hell, even MTG developers said bouncing lands was a mistake. That it should of never been an option. So, for them to admit that, there must be something to it, you know?
I mean, why do you think they have so FEW cards like Eye of Nowhere and Boomerang and TONS of cards like Void Snare (return NONLAND permanent)?

Bounce is about tempo. Pure and simple.
IF I have 3 lands and you only 2 lands, on Turn 3...you are more limited to what you can do.

It is like this:
Turn 2. I boomerang your land.
Turn 3. You have two lands: You can't play a 3 mana card OR 1 one mana card and 1 two mana card. You are limited.
Turn 4. You have three lands: Meaning you can't play a 4 mana card OR 2 two mana cards. You are limited.
Turn 5. You have four lands: Meaning you can't play both a 2 mana spell and a 3 mana spell. You are limited.
That ONE Turn 2 Boomerang limited/changed your next 3 turns.

It slows you down. Maybe not for mana ramp decks, sure, I will give you that. For a lot of decks, bouncing lands is brutal.

And Puschkin has a point. I am not playing Black Lotus, Moxes, Lotus Petal, Elves...or against decks that have those cards.
Absolutely, one Boomerang to one of their lands is going to mean nothing to them. I do get and agree with that.

And If you don't think you lose tempo losing a land, what about losing a land AND a spell?

IF you get off both a Counterspell and Boomerang in the first few turns...
They are down a land, a card, and a spell.
It has been tried, tested, and true for blue decks for ages.

That deck has made people quit.
I will put it this way, they would of swiped up their cards from the table, if they had any to gather up!
And it is designed to bounce lands. It has no other purpose.

Thanks for checking out the deck.
No room for Scepters, but I do love them.

Added it to the list.
Prowess, it is new.
As suggested, I think you could make the deck better by decreasing the creatures and increasing instant/sorcery cards.

I appreciate your participation!

No, no price restrictions.
If you want your 2 rares to be:
1 Black Lotus
1 Ancestral Recall

Then go for it! :)

Lots of those are new cards to me!
And it is a new mechanic to me as well.
I need to get caught up with Magic Cards, apparently!

Any deck that focuses on unblockable creatures, is aggravating to play against!
It is added to the list.

Checked it out, nice!
I did notice your regular version was much stronger.
I think that just shows that Aristocrat brings down the power of decks...which isn't necessarily a bad thing! Even more so, I would say, every deck that has been posted has been pretty balanced compared to each other.
I am really liking the results, so far!

You are added to the list, friend!
Thanks.

Two Land Rares.
You are the first to do that.
But they go very good with the deck!

Infect is always so deadly.
Even with the rule restrictions it looks like you are able for a very early death hit.

The biggest issue with Infect decks is if the creature is blocked!
Rancor and Aqueous Form solves that. Nice call on that.
The Elf, a turn 1 infect drop in very good.

You have fog and extra creatures in case stuff goes wrong. Backup plans are pretty smart.

Good job!

Standard, very neat.
Not sure if any of the other people's decks have been Standard.
Will definitely check it out and add it to the list!

Thanks!

Will consider Sign in Blood for now.
The double black mana, shouldn't be a problem, huh...since I won't be playing it until the 4th or 5th turn anyways.

Unmake is DEFINITELY in! It triggers Mimic!
Good call!

Good choice of rares.
I haven noticed that, so far, with the Challenge. You really have to pick good rares!
And, so far, everyone is doing that.

Looks pretty aggro/fast to me. :)
Goblins for the win!

Never, fool!
Two rare Goblins...umm, Siege or Krenko? Aren't they rare?
I will take a look at it, and post it!

Thanks!

I considered Batwing Brume, for sure!
And also considered Nighthawk. He has so many abilities, Mtg makers almost ran out of space on the card!
Him not being black AND white made me not choose him.
Sign in Blood is double black. Check out Night's Whisper. It does the same thing, but it is 1 black and 1 colorless. The one colorless is easier to cast.

Thanks for the suggestions!!!
If you take up the challenge, please be sure to post it here.

He still has 3 uncommons to possibly add.
He could/should consider 3 uncommon lands that grant him the second color.

But good catch!

Maybe, if you take the rare out, consider something like:
Ambush Commander
Elvish Champion
Elvish Archdruid
Not sure if any of those are mythical rares (not allowed) but they would all go with the theme of your deck.
