And FYI ... I meant Garruk, Caller of Beasts before.

Caller of Beast's main strength is his -3, which he can do the turn he comes in. His +1 isn't as strong as New Garruk's destroy Planeswalker. I would safely saw that their first 2 abilities are approximately equal.

Their Ultimate abilities are also approximately equal.

Therefore, since Garruk, Caller of Beasts mana cost is more splashable, he has a small advantage over the new Garruk.

Don't think that I dislike new Garruk - I love him. Just because he falls short of a 6 CMC card that could drop a 2 5/5 Wurms with trample (Armada Wurm) or drop a Garruk's horde and play another creature with a +1 ability does not make him bad, not even remotely. All Jaces don't suck because they're worse than the infamous mind Sculptor. Nor are newer Gideon and Elspeth bad.

Oh my. You sir have made a comment that forces me to choose between two of my favorite cards.

However, Dictate is too central to this deck to take out and Zealot is more of a sideboard choice here ... tell you what, I'll sideboard it against Golgari and company.

Oh, and some proliferate would be awesome.

Poison and wither ... I never thought of it that way! Undying does okay against it, too, especially if you have Zameck Guildmages or other ways to lose those +1/+1 counters.

Any suggestions for replacing Emancipation Angel or what to take out for some Divine Favor? One or the other, cause Emancipation Angel hits my lands too often.

And those overlooked cards ... are sometimes very powerful.

Angelic Skirmisher is freaking amazing! She should cost 3 times what she does.

Same with Serra Avenger. A freaking mini Serra Angel for 2 mana? It' Fo 1 less power and toughness, it costs 3 CMC less. And it can come in a turn earlier.

Hmm ... I'll admit something to you. I have 2 decks. A shitty Boros deck given to me by a friend for free, and a shitty green/white M13 starter. WTF is a 2/4 with no abilities doing costing 4 mana? I hated Cloverfield Ox.

I also have a bucketload of revised edition cards from my dad . .

Basically, I have never made any of the decks posted on this site. So ... I think that I will need to buy a deck first =).
