It looks ok, but I would say it is slower than mine, similarly I will point out that once you have the ability to sacrifice your creatures for mill or damage there is no point to the primus's ability since you will mill or damage them infinitely anyhow. Same with herd gnarr, what good is an infinite/infinite if you have already won the game. Dryad Arbor is a slow land that doesn't help you out much, I know evolving wilds and the expanse are also technically slow land but they held solve an issue with dead draws. Your cheapest persister is 3 mana and you only have three, meaning 1/20 draw chance or you have to use a gsz to get it in which case it costs 4, although you do have the mana ramp for that, all in all I'd say this deck is pretty good and maybe better than mine in some circumstances. (If they somehow manage to get a platinum angel with all sorts of prot and indestructibility then the primus will be handy...) but overall I'm gonna have to say it looks too slow to be truly spectacular and leave your opponent going "What in the blue blazes just happened..." A good deck though and probably still good enough to win in large politics based games. you might have some problems with speedy dual decks though.

I don't really need lands every turn for five turns, I should only reach turn five if things go really south, I've proxied this deck and run it through some trial games and it never fails to achieve, even when I play against me and have the opponent me use inside knowledge. I get that the biggest issue is not getting melira, but the thing is, she only makes the combo infinite, with heartmender or even just persisters on their own I can still get by for a while. As for land, if you include the llanowar elves I run 24 land or similar. If you include manamorphose as empty space, which it is seeing as it will add 2 green mana to my pool and replace itself in my hand), I run 24 land or similar in a 56 card deck, if you discount the evolving wilds and the like as empty space also then I'm running 19 land or similar in a 51 card deck. That is an effective 37% land or similar. With a 37% chance of mana production that's almost 2 in five draws with 2.59 land in my opening hand with another 1.87 to be drawn over the next five turns giving me 4.46 land by turn 5 I only have 2 cards in here with cmc >4 I should be fine with my current manabase. MATHS!
Thanks ANON.
If my starting hand does not contain a GSZ or a Melira I'll probably mul once and then think about what is in my hand. statistiaclly I have a one in ten chance of drawing Melira or GSZ, my starting hand is 7 followed by 6, statistically, and it can all go horribly wrong, but statistically, I don't need any more than 2 melira.
I don't need protection for Melira, I just need to not drop her before she is needed, do I have a persister on the field? do I have a bs of an aod on the field? if yes to both drop melira (or zenith her into play.)
Why bother? If I have either of my sacrifice engines that would let the redcap go infinite, I already either have infinite damage or infinite mill, also, the redcap is a little bit out of colour. That said, my initial version of this deck was going to use cards like the redcap, thunderblust and pandemonium, but I decided that I would be better served going infinite for less mana and in fewer colours to keep it simple.)
Holy rusted metal batman, I managed to get a deck on the top decks list, much thanks for the likes and comments.
Erm... this is an edh deck, that means you run only one copy of anything that isn't a basic land, it also means the deck needs to be 100 cards with one of those 100 being your commander in the command zone... I don't think I can slim it down or put in two or three copies of the good slivers and still have it as an edh deck... thanks for the advice though :/
Hmm, this is quite similar to mine http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=201942 Strange how these things happen without seeing other peoples ideas. My start point was kind of like this in that I thought of using creatures with interesting effects, like murderous redcap etc to abuse their bounce, but then I settled on efficiency so I took out the non-green stuff, put in some heartmenders so I could bounce things at least once per turn etc... I've proxied it and run a couple of hands etc. and mine plays pretty well.
It just came to me, I was commenting on another deck about Melira and then was all like "... My mind... it is blown." and then ended up with with random jumble of whatever the fuck...
Thank you kindly.
No worries there man, at least you got there in the end. ^_^
did you just call my deck a 'jumble of whatever the fuck'? I'm not taking it personally, nor am I offended (quite amused actually).
Also, lose infect, not loose infect. Lord Strongpaw - Helping people with their spelling since 1997 - but still making the occasional spelling mistake himself.
No, because it means my creatures can't enter the battlefield with -1/-1 counters on them... hang on I'll find the exact rule for you... 121.5. If a spell or ability refers to a counter being “placed” on a permanent, it means putting a counter on that permanent while it’s on the battlefield, or that permanent entering the battlefield with a counter on it.
Good call on the finks, I think I shall add some, though not in replace of the Ouphes because I want them there to take out any fliers as they are pretty much all I have for flying defense. Also, I think 6 ways of getting Melira to the field is fine, besides, I also have heartmender for a similar, if slower, effect.
This deck does make sense, you just can't make sense of it :P In all seriousness, see the comment above, I make it so that I can be reckless with my creatures and generate and infinite sacrifice engine. simples.
My persisters can't have -1/-1 counters put on them, that means that when they die, they come back without the -1/-1 counter, meaning they can die as many times as I want them to and still not stay dead. Deathproof.
If you are running quilspike be sure to run devoted druid for that ol' combo, similarly run Melira and then you can use effects that put -1/-1 counters on everything and be safe (yes she moots the devoted druid combo but to that I say, be careful when you play either side of that coin and never drop both. Also, brb - making a persist deck with Melira in it and some green tutoring to help get her there.
It is my understanding that conspiracy adds the creature type rather than replaces the creatures pre-existing types meaning your reflections still die... So it is a little pointless. Similarly I can't see you needing Blood Celebrant all that often, if you are worried about mana, throw in some non-basic lands that tap for black or white or can be used to fetch basic land. Sign in blood is an alright choice, I personally went for well of lost dreams, gain enough life and you can just draw as much as you have spare mana for. Darien and Teysa are pretty cool legends, maybe put in some tutoring to help you get them.
