Teysa would be a pretty cool add, I was also thinking of adding some alliance of arms from the new commander decks, I'll probably take out the serra ascendants since they only give me one creature.

Might I recommend Soul conduit, even as a sideboard... That way you can be all cheeky like with your souleater. Would also help deal with those pesky life-gain decks...
I know, they are the cards I got at the mirrodin besieged pre-release, 3 packs of just phyrexian and 3 packs of scars.
My apologies, I did not realise you were aiming for standard.
ditch giant growth for invigorate, what does it matter if your opponent gains three life, you just got to stick 4 more poison counters on them for 0 mana at instant speed....
Tempered steel for steel overseer?
Mindwrack liege I think would be better than the murkfiend, it buffs your clone whilst offering an alternative cheap means of playing Progenitus, although it is one mana more expensive than the murkfiend...
I would abandon steady progress and two islands for energy chamber and or coretapper myr...
Vesuva could be a good choice, have it enter the battlefield cloning a cloudpost, potential of 12 locus lands that way as-well.
Ditch eternity vessel, it resets your life total which would counteract the benefit of any grazing gladehearts you might have when you trigger your many land combo. The only thing I can really think of is that after you get all your land then any other landfall stuff you draw is moot, you need a way to recycle your lands...
I wouldn't use coat of arms for this deck, you will not be producing anywhere near enough bears to contend with other tribe based decks. Have you considered door of destinies? it starts off slower than the coat but will only benefit you, it is also cheaper. Similarly the petroglyphs are not used to their fullest extent and while bear umbra fits thematically it's benefits are not optimal in this deck, bears are traditionally quite cheap and I highly doubt you will make the most of being unable to untap all your lands with your current deck build. Some light improvements I can think of would be to replace 2 of the petroglyphs with kamahl fist of krosa and the other 2 with more bear umbra, this would give you a use for your mana in the later game and if you get both kamahl and the umbra at once, well, it might not be pretty for your opponent. (Yes I am aware that kamahl is not a bear)
In all honesty it is a theoretical exercise and I have no idea how it plays, sculpting steel, copy enchantment and twincast all require my opponent to be using the right kind of cards, so I guess it kinda depends entirely on chance...
They are really just there to thin out the land so that I don't get stuck drawing land when I don't need it during the late game.
huh? I don't see what you are trying to tell me...
would budget allow for another butcher? if you cut the minion reflector, there is little point in only having one of each and of the two the deck would be more powerful running two butchers than two reflectors...
I can't think of any more changes that would not take it out of budget, are you still happy with it?
+2 drake +2 pawn -2 hand -2 essence feed Then you will be done The pawns are a more reliable source of spawn than essence feed while the drake is a better form of beef than the hand, also don't forget mana burn doesn't exist any-more so you can just sacrifice spawn for the heck of it if you will benefit from it due to death greeter or creature buffs.
also I would remove the hand's for another 2 pawns, 1 greeter and one essence, you want lots of spawn to use with profane command, the forays, the greeter and the wardens, also gives you more throw away blockers, the last thing is you have 0 flying defence except profane command which means you can take out all of two flyers assuming you draw both and have enough mana, something to think on.
still in budget?
You could achieve the exact same effect by sacrificing a load of spawn for mana and spending said mana on x cost spells like profane command (as suggested by FortyCakes), in fact profane command is better in pretty much every way, you can achieve more with it, destroy an opponents pride and joy through -x/-x, get a combo piece back if they killed the caretaker or just straight out kill your opponent if you have enough spawn. They both allow the sacrificing of creatures for a purpose and at the end of the day that is all the chomper was there for.
