Such a great card, Dromoka's Command!

Underworld Dreams? And Kederekt Parasite?
Oh ya it's shroud on Whispersilk Cloak, You are right you don't want that. That's actually why I suggested Swiftfoot Boots instead of Lightning Greaves. Temur Battle Rage does cost 3 less then Runes of Deaus and being able to use it as combat trick may prove to be game winning.
DedWards is correct, there is only 1 format the card is even legal in which is Vintage and it's restricted. Here's a link to the wizards banned/restricted list for all formats.http://magic.wizards.com/en/gameinfo/gameplay/formats/bannedrestricted
I agree with those cuts.
Siege Rhino as another great creature. As well I highly suggest having an answer for torpor orb in your SB. I play a Purphoros deck in modern format and in almost every game 2 I need to deal with it.
Whispersilk Cloak and Temur Battle Rage would both be very good in this deck considering the strategy your going for. Swiftfoot Boots would also be nice, surprised not to see it already.
I would replace Doomed Necromancer with Necromancy. Cut Rhystic Tutor for damnation or another board wipe, Rhystic Tutor ends up being a dead card more often then not in my experience. Undead Gladiator would also be on the chopping block in my opinion, it's just a lot of mucking about when you need spots for so much removal you don't have. I'm running around 20 removal/ removal like things in my EDH deck and I often feel it's still not enough. Other things I think you could cut without to much worry would be Nezumi Graverobber, Loxodon Warhammer and Raksha Golden Cub. Just my opinions, take it for what it is.Happy casting. :)
You can only run 1 Necro.
Without any doubt you Need More Land! As well I suggest Archive Trap, there is just so much searching in modern with all the fetches it's an easy free cast.
I think Nim Deathmantle would be a better choice then Mortarpod, as well as being more on thyme.
I agree with majority of your reasoning except for the thinning effect of your fetch lands. It's a bad idea in a deck that doesn't benefit in some other way from it , like graveyard filling or landfall triggers. Your deck would actually be better off with extra spells instead. Here's a link to an article that altered my thinking on the subject which goes into great depth where the authors have done the math. A bit boring but worth a read to an addicted mtg player. http://magic.tcgplayer.com/db/print.asp?ID=3096
Agreed with the Cavern on both points, way better but way pricier. City of Brass would be better since it's the same as Confluence but isn't standard legal which puts it's value around 3.50. I'm assuming this is to remain modern legal? If not add Didgeridoo.
Man I just spent 2 hours cleaning my computer thinking something was in there I couldn't find. Thanks for this post I figured it out. Lunyka is correct, Stop the page from loading once opened right away then delete SolarSucker's comment.
If you have them why would you drop good lands just b/c they're expensive? As well Vial is far better since it potentially makes your 2nd and 3rd turns more aggressive instead of waiting till turn 4 for any benefit. Not to mention turn 3 is so crucial is that what you wanna be doing on it?
LOL, combining infect and Slivers. Your local meta wont mind at all, really. LOL You'll definitely be that guy, who plays that.
Narset Transcendent could be useful in here as well.
Sorry about the Invigorate, I keep forgetting whats modern legal for some reason lol
yes it does
I'll check it out later tonight Diamond. Ya if you have a minute Zaklax I'd love some input on a my Purphoros combo deck here.http://www.mtgvault.com/maniacalmaniac/decks/heartless-zombie-forge/It's vintage casual so anything goes. My playgroup rules are no sideboard no proxies.
