I am prepared I have a deck list and the replacement cards set aside for the rotation ahead of time but will not render my deck susceptible to decks that contain the older cards. And thank you for supporting the facts about the fetch lands. Unfortunately good players are found a dime a dozen on this site, and people don't like good players like ourselves telling the truth about their decks they just want people giving them a pat on the back for their creation.

Anything you find yourself no boarding in or more commonly singletons that are very selective on what deck they board in against. Specifically Lifebane Zombie, and Underworld Connections. Now Duress is another too take out don't get me wrong these are great cards and unfortunately they are the kind of cards that if they aren't main boarded then they don't belong in the deck. Now Lifebane Zombie can be sideboarded but only in tempo aggro or mid-range decks. Hope this helps again Nice deck absolutely love it.

Guys listen the truth it hurts, and If you don't want pro help get off this site because I am everywhere on here. And the fetch lands make his deck it wouldn't function properly without them, By the way Izzet Blitz runs hidden strings because it's a free spell that could also tap the opponent's only blockers and get you the win, and teleportal gives your Cyclops +4/+0 Artful Dodge Cycles in months and gives the creature +6/+0 and potentially functions on two turns and functions even after it has been countered. I have been playing this game for years and by disowning cards because they are cycling soon is a terrible way to weaken your deck. Good Luck with the deck hope you rethink taking my advice.

Great deck, but you have useless junk in the sideboard my recommendation is you take out some of the useless crap you never board in and and put the three woodland cemetery's in there for when you side in the green stuff you should run swamps mainboard and the overgrown tombs because they never come in tapped at the worst of times. Again great deck love the flavor.

Drop 1 O-Ring and all increasing Savagery for the four Banisher Priest main board and take out 3 Forest for 3 plains. That outta fix your mana base, hope this helps.

Remove the Counter Magic for Hidden strings and Artful dodge and run more burn. This deck lacks the efficiency that Izzet Blitz usually has I recommend you look up some other versions of this deck. And don't try and do it for 20 bucks because There is no such thing as A standard budget deck, the cheapest you can get is mono- red Burn. But even that is $50.00. Good luck with the deck and take my advice.

Nice Idea but I recommend scavenging Ooze for some extra value.

Copsejack gets you all sorts of value, but he is less effective the turn you bring him in and is terrible late game not to mention he is a little greedy you are already going off having your blood witch speed things up he will only slow things down.

Please take note to function competitively in a format such as standard. Your deck must be at the very least $50.00 (Mono-Red Burn) take note that is the cheapest of any standard decks to win a Grand Pix, Pro Tour, or Place Top in FNM. There is no such thing as a competitive budget deck. Now saying that I am not saying a budget deck can't do well and be functional. I myself have helped newer or advancing (by advancing I mean players who played at the kitchen table, but never went to FNM or played competitively.) magic players into the world of FNM and later Some into Star City Open Series. Sorry to say but your deck lacks that functionality that makes a deck playable I recommend you look up some advanced deck building techniques online specifically on the following terms; Curve, Removal, Deck Synergy, Speed, Flexibility, Creature Base (If applicable), Mana Base (Something I personally take pride in.) and while thinking of all of that remember both your decks theme and Type; Aggro, Control, Mid-Range, Etc. Hope that helps and remember to check my decks for any help and to read Articals on www.starcitygames.com they are always full of helpful information and different player perspectives. I am here to answer questions aswell feel free to ask.

"B" stands for "Black" and "U" stands for "Blue". Just to clarify. your deck needs a format before people can critique it, even if it's meant for the kitchen table.

Your deck lacks some key legacy components take a look at this deck for some ideas. Note this guy keeps editing this deck so keep checking for updates.

Still exchange Negator for anything else.

Your creature base is terrible, for starters legacy and Vintage don't run 1 drop zombies that come into play tapped. Phyrexian Negator is a terrible card it's better counterpart Phyrexian Obliterator costs as much as it does because of it's modern playability. Gatekeeper of Malakir is not legacy playable. Let alone vintage. And your mana base and the rest of the deck lacks vital cards for a mono black deck. I am not going to list that many cards, and It depends on what your trying to do. In reality this is a moderately good (mono black mid range).

Sideboard is Illegal. And Flame-kin zealot is the only thing preventing this deck from being standard legal.

I happen to have made a Grixis mid-range deck check my profile for it for some ideas It has won several FNM's and the sideboard is still a work in progress.

Grand Arbiter, Wall of frost, and Venser are the only cards preventing you from having a standard deck. by the way WUBRG "U" stands for Blue "B" stands for Black. Confusing I know when I started out I also got the mixed up. I thought it was B for both. And another thing make your deck 60 cards it makes all the difference.
