I tried making my own mono red version.http://www.mtgvault.com/martianshark/decks/mono-red-1drop/

Why would you include Experiment One when there's only one creature that can potentially evolve it? I'd replace it with Dryad Militant or something. Also, Wasteland Viper is strictly better than Sedge Scorpion, and if you decided to keep Experiment, Viper could be another thing to evolve it with.
I would prefer to run Counterflux since it's uncounterable and completely stops Storm. I'll consider Delver, it's not a bad idea. Pyroclasm is definitely a problem; I guess you just have to counter it. Siding in Negates should help game 2.
I think it's pretty clear that this is basically a control deck.
No. I thought of the idea and designed it just now, but I am considering buying it.
True. Splashing a third color wouldn't be easy without shocks though. Thorncaster would be good, but for mana curve reasons, I don't think I could add it without replacing the other thing with a stacking ability: Battle Sliver. And Steelform kind of sucks.
This is a budget deck. If it wasn't, Naya slivers would be much more effective. I don't know what you mean by high cost spells; the only thing that's even somewhat high is Battle Sliver, which is very important for cards like Bonescythe.
Even Peasant is limited to 5 uncommons though.
Well, I wasn't really planning on playing this deck anyway. It was just fun to build, and would theoretically be awesome if it worked.
Not legal in Pauper.
I've had a lot of experience with this deck. Here are a few suggestions.Use Wall of Frost instead of Hover Barrier.Take out a Murmuring Phantasm for a fourth Fog Bank. You may want to remove the fog spells for more defenders, giving the deck a better chance of working. Ludevic's Test Subject can make a nice alternate win con, and can easily be transformed if you have infinite mana but no Devil's Play. If you choose to keep them though, at least go up to 4 Fogs and 2 Deliverance since you don't have anything to populate.Instead of spells such as Think Twice, try Trackers Instincts. You will be able to dig way further into your deck with that, plus you might mill a Devil's Play, setting you up for the combo. You may want to splash just a tiny bit of red. That way, you could possibly Devil's Play a threat earlier in the game, then flashback later when you have infinite mana. I've done great with just two mountains (which can be gotten with Gatecreeper) and four Izzet Guildgates instead of Simic.
Illegal...
But then I couldn't play it anywhere but casual, and this deck is way too serious for casual.
Finally bought this deck on TCG player. I'll try it out when I get it.
Yeah, I've seen that done.
3/3 tokens aren't the only things attacking. You also have Impostors, Memnites, Ninjas, Stormbound Geists, and Surveilling Sprites. And this isn't really all-out aggro, it's supposed to usually be played in a more control style, with you Pongifying and/or Vapor Snagging your opponent's creatures, countering stuff with Familiar's Ruse, and chump blocking with Surveilling Sprite. Also Isochron Scepter with any of this deck's instants can be crazy.Still, there's a good chance that it is in fact not Modern viable. But I wouldn't say that for sure.
Nah. With a creature like that, I don't care if it's legendary, I'm still running four. Besides, it works a lot better now with the new legend rule.
Isochron is a great idea. I'll try to fit it somewhere.
It would definitely be a good card to add, although that would increase the price of the deck by $100. I really like how such a cool deck is only around $10.
I would prefer to keep it Modern legal. Familiar's Ruse is a great idea though, especially now that I added ninjas. Thanks.
