I like the sly nature of the deck, it pisses people off in subtle ways. I imagine they don't realize how pissed off they get until they've made so many misplays that it's too late... and then it pisses them off even more :)

my favorite card you use by far is rakdos riteknife, it's such a devastating card when it goes off that it must drive people nuts to see it ticking up and then blowing up half some unfortunate soul's perms. good job. a couple of cards i recommend that get a lot of sac fodder out while also being good reanimation targets are endrek sahr, master breeder and undead alchemist. you could cut cards like syphon mind and diplomatic escort, although while fun and useful, don't have too much synergy with the rest of your deck. also, kher keep is an excellent token making land, i love sacrificing kobolds cause they are so goddamn useless its fun to make squealing noises when you sac them. also goblin bombardment makes sure that your creatures are clear for attacking while also synergizing with the sac theme... xenograft can go, i don't see why you're playing it. lastly, i don't know about you, but most edh decks i play against run so many non-basic lands that shivan harvest absolutely destroys them, i'd try fitting that in somewhere. good luck mate!

i didnt think i could cut anything for her. If you notice, i don't run Akroma, Angel of Fury or Razia Boros archangel or Reya dawnbringer, all insane cards, either. Its about personal preference mate. I like running more demons than people would think practical. I could try taking out archon of justice for avacyn, but still - archon comboes with divine reckoning to exile your opponent's creature. but i guess lady gaga also combos well with that spell too. Maybe if i get my hands on her, i will play her, but for now, i'm cool with grissy and gisela :)

Hope my list helps mate.

Np man, with a sweet general like kaalia, you shouldn't have any problems taking over, you just need to know how to run her correctly.

Interesting build. The thing about EDH is that most cards which are great normally like incinerate and dark ritual are terrible as one ofs, the only reason they are good in the first place is that you can run four of in a regular deck. EDH is the format where big, explosive, and expensive cards really shine, you want to be making the most out of your mana.

What you don't realize is that kaalia is an amazing general, so one card you can cut right off the bat is aether vial. amazing in modern and legacy, but pretty useless when all your creatures are being summoned out by kaalia. and that's another thing, i don't really recommend running other creatures besides dragons, demons, and angels, and a few other creatures who help protect kaalia. seriously, all you should be doing is summoning and protecting kaalia, she will take care of the rest. cards like dolmen gate and reconnaissance really do wonders for your deck. also, here's a little secret tech: the wording in reconnaissance makes it so you can attack and deal damage while saving creatures from getting dealt damage themselves. sorta like a pseudo-vigilance. you should also run a lot more dual lands, the secret to a great EDH deck is a great mana-base. another card you need is Sol Ring, great for one turn signets, it's an EDH staple. anyway, check out my deck for a good assessment of what cards you should be running: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=212043

Now, i'm not saying you should copy and paste my deck (you should run the cards you think you'll have the most fun with), and i don't recommend using these cards that i use: desolation angel, armageddon, and decree of annihilation. While they are absolutely back-breaking cards and usually win me the game, some people find that playing mass land removal spells is unfun for the exact reason that it usually wins you the game. EDH is primarily a casual format, and the focus should be having as much fun as possible, so don't run those cards unless the people you play against are really competitive and run decks like zur enchanter or azuza lost but seeking or some sort of esper artifact combo decks.

also, you have vampiric tutor!?! thats a crazy expensive card lol, i'm jealous

once again, i like your build, and run the cards you want to run, but i recommend taking out a lot of the one-of spells for more explosive, utility based ones. happy playing mate!

needs more brainstorm for a counterbalance deck. and if we want the win-con to be jitte + bitterblossom, i would go a more esper route and include playsets of brainstorm, jace 2.0, and stoneforge mystic.

does this win by a huge genesis wave? what if you don't draw it? plus, you have nothing to wave out, except more mana dorks

might want to splash for white to get some prime human targets, champion of the parish, doomed traveller, call of the townsfolk. i think evolving wilds helps with the spread of the mana base. you could go the opposite and just go BW splash red or RW splash black. otherwise, i love the creativity of the deck, but i'm wondering if falkenrath aristocrat is worth building a deck around it.

love those tribal decks of cards that arent really meant to be tribal... like a squirrel deck or a goat deck. i wish wizards would make some good fucking spider cards though :P

two cards i think you should look at, although they dont exactly fit: spider spawning and giant solifuge. solifuge isnt a spider, but it IS a spider lol. spider spawning you might need more graveyard stuff to work with, but its a great fucking card. also, here are some cards you NEED: arachnus spinner and arachnus web. spinner can be an awesome fucking finisher. plus no giant spider? insulting lol, its been in every core set. anyway, good luck with the deck and rock on my friend \m/

you could probably put those grindclocks in along with a couple more land, i find 65 cards to be a really consistent number when the right deck calls for that many cards, especially a control deck which can fully utilize extra resources
