cool man. but when your playing a 3 or 4 way game and people see you about to combo off, they gang rape you. I need a less obvious combo, or just a nice gradual incline of power. Undead warchief is nice, but doesn't bring a real element to the deck. The idea behind this was to have strong graveyard control, while slowly building up an undead army that never goes away. Endless Ranks of the Dead is my big ticket card along with Gempalm Polluter. Death Baron is a great attack or block deterrent, Geralfs and Spiteful can deal good static damage. If something dies or gets destroyed, I have Lord of the Undead, Ghoulcallers Chant, Volrath's Stronhold and 2 Diabolic Intents. Not to mention the Gravecrawler.

if he was serious I would agree with you. But clearly the idiot above was trolling you guys, and unfortunately you guys gave right into it. He obviously is just being a fuck head on purpose. Anyway, while this deck is legacy legal, I only plan to play it with friends. we usually play multiplayer games, so combos don't usually get too far sadly. If I played more 1v1 I would do that. Thanks anyway
only thing you really need to do is condense what you have. get more of what you need and less of what you dont
lol this trolling is too stronkk
Its completely different and also a 3 drop which I already have plenty of. When Geralf turns into a 2 cmc zombie with card draw capabilities you let me know.
well I appreciate your opinion on it, I would have to say mass removal would be almost a waste. According to Lord of the undead, ghoulcallers chant and mikaeus the unhallowed, I don't really care if you day of judgment or supreme verdict. They will be back eventually. And if I can dark rit or culling to get a mikeaus or death baron or endless ranks out a couple turns early, then why the hell wouldn't it? Ive got blood scrivener for that exact purpose, for when i run out of cards. Plus gempalm is amazing, hes worth using even if i only have one zombie out, 2cmc for 1 damage and 1 card with the potential for more damage. Plus i can bring him back over and over again for even more card advantage. This deck laughs at removal, except for exile of course. But find me a tribal deck that isn't weak against exile lol.
yea im still working on this right nowim currently trying to put endless ranks in, but I wanna keep the 4 gempalm
basically if im playing againt any red, boros, rakdos, gruul, jund etc, or any deck that has first strike and or double strike creatures, im gonna be happy that I have slagwurm.
well if my 1/7 deathtouch blocks an 8/8 trample and kills it, I take one damage and they lose there big guy. so worth lol
because in a sense, they both accomplish the same thing. the only difference is that slagwurm makes my creature harder to kill with direct damage. slagwurm, while not being able to instakill an opposing creature, will survive more punishment, while accomplishing the same goal.
I agree that nighthawk is a far better choice than the specter. I was kinda lost and specter was a decent fill card with a semi cool ability that I could also dark ritual for on turn one if I wanted. But I would rather use nighthawk so thanks! My reasoning behind the gatewarden is simple though. My opponent has a 3/3. Ive got this 1/1 weenie that im gonna chump block with. But next turn ive gotta find a way to deal with that 3/3 again. With Oona's, I turn that 3/3 into a 1/1 permanently. Meaning that my opponent probably isn't going to swing much at me early game with anything important because I will happily sac my 1 drop to permanently ruin a bigger scarier card. However, will'o the wisp is an amazing card and I would love to main board him, so im gonna try and find a way to sneak him in. thanks the advice
well that is quite true, but I was lucky enough to have invested in 4 obliterators before they were worth 25 bucks a piece. I even have a foil one that I got for 18 bucks which is worth like 40 or something now :p I did also just order the 4 deathrite shamans off of TCG player for 9 bucks a piece. While investing in sinkhole wouldn't be a bad thing, it is in fact quite pricey for me seeing as I already owned a good portion of this deck. I see what you mean though, I would love you use it on my friends U/R deck.
oh and i dont know about you but i cant afford sinkholes lol
well yea a creatureless deck would probably do quite well against me, but fortunately the handful of friends i play with dont play with decks like that. I myself typically play aggressive creature decks and i wanted to do something different. I find burn decks to be quite boring and we play a lot of multiplayer games so control decks tend to get raped because nobody likes them. So we all typically run aggro removal decks and try outplay eachother.
thanks man, respect
the only thing that's illegal is that your at 57 cards lol
Yea that would be pretty cool in here, ty
this looks much better, I didn't increase my land total, but I did switch things around. thanks for your help
yes I know of those cards, not what im going for here. Plus increasing the costs of non creature spells wouldn't really be in my interest for this deck.
its a slight risk of a card but I was looking into adding Planar Collapse...
