FNM DIARIES/TRIALS

WENT 2-1-1

FOUND NEED FASTER END GAME ONCE BOARD CONTROL IS OBTAINED. ADDED ARMOF DAMENED FOR FASTER KILL PER AARON. WILL TEST IN UPCOMING FNM.
SIDE NOTE-DRAW ENGINE IS INSANE. LIFE GAIN WITH CARD DRAW IS VERY POWERFULL. ALSO MOST OF NON-ADVANCED PLAYERS AT SHOW HAVE NO REGUARDS FOR SCOOP POINT IN A GAME. IE 8 TURNS OF DRAWING LAND IN A ROW, AND ME CONTINUING TO DRAW CARDS AND DO THINGS. ALSO SEEMS DECK SEEMS RATHER REMINICIANT OF POST DECK WITH SEEMINGLY NOT DOING ANYTHING OVER LONG PERIOD OF TIME.

You have way too many creatures. You need draw power bc if you do not have a heartless summoning in your opening had then you deck will tank. And if they blow it up you have no answer you are stuck with tapping out to cast your stuff and your combos do not work. I would highly recomend putting Altar's Reap in some how. It is a 3 for 1 when you use solemn simulacrun.

And now that i think about it i am just gona take it out and do some play testing. Made the changes thanks White and Blue for asking it made me think about it more.

Bc he can recure and i can sac him to grimgrin's ability. But i dont have to have it i might take it out for some more spells or anouther bloodline keeper and grimgrin.

I would suggest adding essence of the wild for the LOLz. B/C with that on the field any token you make will be a copy of essence of the wild. Also you need Mirror-Sigil Sargent.

With only running 6 mountians you will get only one trigger form the valikute lands. So you deff need to add more mountians.

It would also be funny to run vensers journel in this so that if you treasure hunt and you dont have to discard the cards for nothing if you dont have a infestation on the feild.

I would highly suggest finding a spot for maybe 2 elixers of imortality. That way you have an out for late game if you get DoJ.

^^Agree, if nothing else have them side boarded. I just cant seem to get into the RUG version of POD i know it has more versitilaty but i really like my version. I came in first at my FNM with it last night.

I would run reassembling skeletons and Vault Skirge over Duskhunter Bat and Warpath Ghoul. Also might want to look at Phyrexian rager. I would suggest atleast 2 more sorin markov.

Nice build. I would replace giant growth with vines of vastwood. You get spot removal protection and the pump if needed late game.

Yeah i can see them as sideboard, my meta sees alot of removal so spell skit is almost required for main. Plus it is just a really good lightning rod. And yeah i was thinking hexparisite sorry.

I would

-3 hovermyr
+1 hex mage
+2 spell skite

but that is just me.

Just a thought other than that you deck looks realy strong. The only reason i say that is you need some kind of protection from removal, and spell skite does that. Plus it is nice blocker. As for the hex parisite they are really good for taking counters off stuff and that is always helpful.

I also looked at the apostles blessing and that is a much better protection spell. ill replace vines with it.
