In that you are absolutely correct. This time I just really wanted to rely into that "spell recursion theme", hence the devils are in. That is partially why I also included Unexpected Windfall, since it also generates treasures which can be used to enable the devils. I could add the Pyromancer to the sideboard though...

The Bastion costs a lot of money nowadays, but I'll add the Disciple to the sideboard as a burn-counter.
Not bad.I am not certain on the suggestion side, but I would certainly run Gatecreeper Vine instead of District Guide.
I don't think that's a bad suggestion, yet this deck seems to need more wincons at the moment, not ways to hinder its opponent. I'll keep that in mind, though.
Not a bad idea. Flamewake Phoenix got in!
Shrieking Affliction could generally be better, sure, but I believe you must have misread Skullcage: Skullcage deals damage each turn UNLESS the player is at three or four cards, so they'll have to try getting to that number. With your discard, of course, you'll be able to prevent it.
I replaced Druidic Ritual with Winding Way in the sideboard!
Weather the Storm added to the sideboard!
Thanks a lot!
Not bad options, really. They could be used to drag this deck towards a multitude of dimensions.I'll go them through again and ponder whether I think I can fit some in.
Absolutely. Shu Yun could work wonders if your goal was to squeeze out as much damage as possible in a single attack. Red would give you access to some buff ups as well as a ton of burn, which all could help. [[Kiln Fiend]] is also a real powerhouse, capable of easily oneshotting players with some setup.
Yea, I could swear I've done one before, but I just can't find it.Personally I think I've been semi-consistent with my tag-usage, but you know, one can never be too certain.
Bloodghast might be a teeny bit outside of my budget, but I want to thank you nevertheless for your suggestion!Undying Evil is also a classic, and since its price trend has lived quite a lot along the years, I've decided it might be smartest to leave outside my decks, at least for now.
Good to hear from you again then!I've had a quite passive week, but otherwise you can be sure to run into my decks in the future!
Okie dokie. I'm still glad that you got to fix the detail, so no one else gets distracted!
You accidentally got two Nightmare Shepherds in there!
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment! You are correct about the legality. The reason I run Erg Raiders is solely the theme of this deck: "riding while raiding". All the creatures are riding some other creature in their art, all this because of the pun with the title "Back in the Saddle".
Yea, it happens to be one of the works I've also read.I know a friend of mine who is sort of a "Lovecraft-enthusiast", so it is partially the reason I've been reading them through. My wife also bought me a collection of Lovecraft's best stories, which I have read a couple of, meaning I really could just pick up my pace and read through them all.
Sandbar and Moor are not bad ideas. Perhaps I'll add one or two of both! And about the bridge, not many may understand it right away so I think it is better to explain it here for all:Because Mistvault Bridge is an ARTIFACT LAND, it counts as both Artifact AND Land for any and all DELIRIUM keywords. This deck runs 3x Raving Visionary and 4x Whispers of Emrakul, which both utilize Delirium as their source of power. Also the 2x copies of Scuttletide from the sideboard can utilize Artifact Lands as an additional push to reach the fourth card type in your graveyard. It is nice that you asked: as I said, not many may understand this right away!
Added the former!
