Glad you like it. I like try to try to make some of my decks work on new mechanics.
Well out go the fetch lands and the tar pits in go some go for the throats and some Gitaxian Probes (I like it better than tezzeret's gambit for low cost drawing
demonking28, Great suggestions. Don't know why I forgot that tarpits need blue mana to activate. Out go twoTar Pits and in go 4 fetch lands
Took a look and left a few comments.
drvarg01, Thanks for the suggestion. I think I'll try to squeeze in two.
Standard 1. Surgical Extraction 2. Jace TMS 3. Stoneforge Mystic 4. Phyrexian Obliterator 5. Vengevine All-Time 1. Force of Will 2. Black Lotus 3. Necropotence 4. Tolarian Academy 5. Vampiric Tutor
with a name like bluewins, I sort of doubt your serious about boycotting Show and Tell. But I can understand your feeling about its brokeness. After all Tinker is banned in Legacy format and Show and Tell is in some way even more broken than Tinker. And banning Show and Tell really doesn't do much good because there's still Shape Anew, Fabricate, and possibly Reshape to take its place.
Why thank you, JaceTheMindsculptor, You're making me blush. I sort of like the thought of being known for creating evil decks. But I have to defer to surewhynot as the current top evil genius here at MTG vault. Check out surewhynot's Pure Evil Deck at http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=114110 as an example of his evilness.
Yeah, this deck iscan brutal fast multi-kill early in the game when opponent's don't have enough mana to pay the Pact upkeep. But if you what to spring it later in the game I would suggest adding some way to tap out or destroy all lands.
xsaedren, Glad you like the combo. I guess its been around awhile. Like you I hadn't heard of it before and I just stumbled on it again because my world worst deck using all the Pact to force itself to lose and I rediscovered the the hive mind combo and with Pacts as I looked for a way to turn my world's worst deck into a good deck. You have any decks you want me to look at?
Checked out your vampire deck and left comments.
Yeah, control decks are my least favorite decks to play against. But they are really easy to make. If fact, to prove the point that blue control decks are easy to make. I just built 5 blue control/combo decks in about 2 hours time and just posted them. You can check them out here Blue Core Deck Version 1 Deck link: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=200078 Blue Core Deck Version 2 Deck link: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=200105 Blue Core Deck Version 3 Deck link: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=200123 Blue Core Deck Version 4 Deck link: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=200135 Blue Core Deck Version 5 Deck link: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=200155
Glad you like the deck. Any of your decks you want me to look at?
dembones, Yes, I agree, Emrakul makes a good finisher. If I substitute Emrakul for some Pacts the deck might become stronger. Thanks for input.
With only slight modifications to land type mixture and adding 2 cards and you can have a killer deck. Change lands to 29 mountain and 29 islands and add 1 Treasure Hunt and 1 Lands Edge. (Yes, you could use dual lands, fetch lands, etc... instead, but I'm trying to keep the cost down) Mulligan till you have Treasure Hunt and Land's Edge. (about 1/90 chance) Lay land until you can play both Treasure hunt and Land's edge. (Pray that opponent has no counterspells about 1/20 chance if playing legacy tourney format and about 1/999,999,999,999 chance if playing vintage tourney format) Cast Land's Edge then Treasure Hunt and then draw remainder of your deck and use Land's to do 116 point's damage!!!!!!
Nice deck. Might check into adding a few of the following cards. Fozen Aether, Opposition, The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale!!!!!, and possibly even Back to Basics. Deck sort of reminds me my early Crucible of World's Decks Bye-Bye Land Deck link: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=139855 Bye-Bye Land Version 2 Vintage Legal Deck link: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=140045
There are 11 gotcha! cards in unhinged. Dropping Names is one of the better ones. Add it. For example, opponent says "You're an ass" you reply "Gotcha" and return all your Ass cards in graveyard to your hand. Proving that your opponent is an even bigger ass.
Hi ClockworkCopper, Sure, steal away. Imitation is the highest form or flattery, at least that's what I've heard.
Glacian22, Glad you like the deck. Any suggestions? Any deck of yours you want me to look at?
