...true... ...I just thought that the "effects that say destroy won't destroy it" was stated in the rule of protection, but it only appears in the rule of indestructible.... ...I remambered the wrong way....... :)

Interesting... ...I like it!.. :)The only thing is I don't understand why people usually use Memory Adept in decks where it's unrelevent... ...it's only raising the mana curve & doesn't do much, also steals spots other cards that could be more useful.......I'd rather use Architect of Thoughts, because it could -1/-0 creatures when you make them attack with the Bindent...
Thanks! :)I ment to use Archon of Triumvirate...I'm wondering now how to make a competative Bant deck for standard, but it's not gonna' be as good as these decks were before M13 & Innistrad went out... ...Terminus, Thragtusk & Tamiyo were awesome.......I'm planning to have a little similar control in it as this's & some Armada Wurm, Serenity, or somewhat... ...I'll make it soon... ...wonder how it will turn out... ...so far my Jund & Gruul decks are the best since I got back & I'm going to FNM this friday... ...I'll attempt to make a couple of competative decks be4 that, so I can go with the best possible choise....... :)
You need draw power to quickly have your combo & counters to protect the elements of the comboes... ...though it's easier said than done, since the cheap draw spells are rubbish today in standard.......
That's an interesting combo... ...I'll give it a try!.. :)
Oh... ...I see... ...it really is infinite... :) - you should have stated that in discryption...Though you are right, it won't happen' too often... ...but it really is creative!..
The idea is good, but to ultimate Jace for the dragon, you'll have to protect it... ...besides, you don't have enough ramp for the curve of the deck (10 ramps, but you don't have effective spells that are cheap & 3 of your ramps are 4 mana, + you don't have draw power)...It's easier now to get rid of a planeswalker... ...this combo needs time & has several conditions, because it's hard to maintain Jace for that long especially in a deck that runs no wipes...You'll need more draw power & use Anger of the Gods mainboard(3)... ...drop unnesesarry high mana creatures, like the Prophet, Mistcutter(sideboard may be)... ...Arcanist is slow, I won't use it, yyou don't even run much instant...You have a total 10 ramp cards, but the only 1 stabil is the 1 wich has Hexproof, Caryatid... ...Zhur could easily get shot & if you go up against control & you suffer a wipe, you gonna' have mana problems... ...it's a shame, that Farseek just left standard... ...it was the most useful card until now.......So if you fix the draw power & start not relying much on your mana creatures, than the deck could be competative... ...if you find a way to protect Jace(may be some counters... ...Negate in the sideboard(3-4) would help for sure).......
You're right, KJ! I just might mixed the 2 stuff togeather... :)I really got out of practice... ...I haven't been here for like half a year & I haven't been to FNM for 4-5 months...I remember you by the way... ...you are usually quite active on this site & helpful as I remember...Thanks for clearing this misunderstanding out for me...Check out my reacent decks, if you'd like!.. :)
I was an idiot thinking, that Gisela was standard... ...she has that Ravnica feeling....... :)I now understand about the protection stuff, but doesn't the rule say, that effects that say destroy does not destroy it?? ...I mean, if it was exile all creatires, or buttom of library, than ok, but a global spell's effect is still an effect & according to the rule, any effect that sayes destroy won't destroy the permenent that has protection against that source.......Please, reply, because I'm highly curious about this!..
I have Pantheon in the sideboard... ...I agree about Setessan... ...I just got back on deckbuilding after about 4-5 months & I'm starting to gain sense once again :)Thanx for your suggestions!..
Thanks for your comment & suggestions! :)
Just another thought on the "protection stuff problem" that we've been discussing in the reacent dayes...Doesn't the rule of protection sayes that effects(any effect) that sayes "destroy" doesn't effect that certain permenent?..I'm sure these stuff were clear to me a year ago, but now I lack a lil' bit of knowlage... ...the effect of a global spell that does not target any permenent &/or player still counts as an effect, right?..Also... ...I've made a deck with Agent of Fates & it turned out competative, though the rhythm is not perfect...Any suggestions are wellcome here: http://www.mtgvault.com/poetmasterx/decks/agent-of-desecration/
Thanks for the tip! :)I need to get used to deck building once again... ...I haven't done it for about half a year... ...I don't remember all useful cards in standard today.......
YO! Check out my new decks, guyes: Esper aggro: http://www.mtgvault.com/poetmasterx/decks/esper-aqueous/Jund midrange: http://www.mtgvault.com/poetmasterx/decks/consume-the-heroes/
Aberration is good... ...AEtherling also & Collector is a very effective sideboard card...Thanks! :)
AEtherling will be awesome for my USA control deck!! :))Thank you!I've really forgotten how to build a freakin' deck......................... :)
I thought protection is not about targeting, but against any effect.......
So protection does mean that it can't be targeted? I thought it nullifies the effect, no matter it's a targeting, or global.......
...by the way... ...I have a quite easy, but nice combo here with Stormbreath Dragon & Supreme Verdict(won't effect it) :)http://www.mtgvault.com/poetmasterx/decks/medomais-revelation/
I see... ...I really have gotten out of practice... :)I haven't seen this combo... ...this is amazing! :)
