Thanks! :)

Turn//Burn is really an awesome sideboard card... ...I just won't take out any of the extra finishers, like Mizzet, 'cuz I have to be prepared for Slaughter Games... ...that 1 card itselfe changes the whole concept of all my control decks's sideboards.......

I'll use Turn/Burn instead of Aurelia's Fury, as you suggested...

Too many lands, too high mana curve... ...one does not compensate for the other...

If you run Thoughtsize, you should run 3-4 & 3-4 Quicken along with it... ...it's awesome at late-game, 'cuz you can kill your opponent's last hope for winning... :)

Devour Flesh should only be used in decks wich you pretend to sacrifice your own creatures with... ...Sacrificing Obzedat, or AEtherling to assist Baron & stay in the game ain't worth it...

Just what do you intend with Last Breath?

Here is my newest Esper control deck(none-mill, just like youres), may be you'll get some ideas from it... :)

I just noticed, that Turn//Burn can finish off gods :)

The mana curve of this deck is off, even tough you play 25 lands... ...you don't have enough cheap draw spells to make up for that in the early game... ...you may also end up drawing lands at late-game, but Revelations can adjust that.......

Also... ...you don't have enough finishers... ...if your opponent runs 3-4 Slaughter Games sideboard, you're done for.......

I know, that we've seen this even in the big leagues, but I'd still say, that Memory Adept is irrelavent in none-mill decks, even as sideboard...

I like the idea of Legion, but anti-enchantment removal is strong in standard right now & players will have that in their sideboard...

The main problem is, I know the deck would be more effective, with 1 more finisher card... ...than the stability would be perfect, but I donno' what 1 card I could take out for it...

I also have Riot Control, if I lack to remove everything :)

I'll get more, than enough time with that little card... :)

Than I'll just have to sideboard all 3 Negates :)

8 lands is still easy to get fast with this deck... ...& still, when I cast Verdict, it can't be countered & only the gods remain & only as enchantments... ...so they won't be a bother & I'll easily strike in with AEtherling :)

May be you're right...

The reason why it can deal with gods is why I put it in the sideboard... ...but enchantments these dayes can easily get destroyed, or exiled, so it's often just temporary...

I can't drop the Charm & Bones, 'cuz I need that many cheap draw...

The best way to deal with the gods in this deck is to return them into the opponent's hand, than counter them... ...tough I don't have much counters here... :)

Anywayes... ...I have Mercyless Eviction(a 3 of) & that exiles the gods... ...even when I use Verdict, only the gods remain, so they won't stay creatures, only enchantments, so they can't deal damage.......

It was a good suggestion tough... ...but I have 24 lands & many-many draw here, so 6 lands alwayes come in 6-8 turns, usually 6-7, so Eviction is very easy to cast... :)

Thanks!

Yeah... ...sadly, mill decks have gotten way weaker & if you only use Dimir colors, the deck won't be competative...

There isn't even any garentee that you'll draw 1 of the 2 Traumatize... ...I don't even like that card, since it sucks late-game... ...you alwayes have to draw it fast in the beggining.......

Here is the B/U/G mill I've made (descryption is important at this one): http://www.mtgvault.com/poetmasterx/decks/downfall-of-evolution/

...& here's my Esper mill deck: http://www.mtgvault.com/poetmasterx/decks/ashiok-jace-library-thives/

Neither are very competative...

Thanks for the complement! :)

Yeah, I'll leave things like this, since I don't want to lose way too much life on Char, if I have to use it for it's removal ability... ...if the opponent playes many removal, I'll sideboard the 4th Charm to save my creautres/enchantments...

I agree, all the stuff from Theros will be better as the other sets of the block come out...

Thanks!

Auger Spree is good against indestructible, but gods are 5+ toughness, so I need at least 2 of it to take out 1, but that's why I have 2 more in the sideboard... ...Fade into Antiquity is better at taking out gods...

As I stated in the description, Spree is perfect for a boost in this deck, since my creatures are big enough to be used on, even Stormbreath, when it's monsterous... ...tough when you do that, you'll need to be watching out for shots & -/- from your opponent...

It's very helpful to have multyfunctional cards in a deck, 'cuz it narrowes the deck & you can put in more stuff that you need & it also usually makes your hand more relyable... ...it also makes your future moves less predictable for your opponent...

I love Auger Spree, since it came out & there isn't many players who used it so far... ...I've had 2 of it(+1 in sideboard) in a Grixis deck before rotation & that deck won me 2 FNM-s & another for one of my friends & we've used it a total 3 times, so it pretty much worked out... :)

I like the idea, though I donno' how this would play out... ...I'm certain, that the combo you have here has some conditions & you don't have enough removal(Verdict alone won't be enough, it won't kill off everything at certain situations)...

In aq deck like this, you'd need way more ramp & way more drawpower... ...this really is instabil, but like I already said, I like the basic idea... ...you need drawpower to increase the possibility for drawing Whip & Post along with the biggies... ...you need ramp, 'cuz you might won't have the combo, 'cuz your opponent could destroy the post for example... ...against the Whipe, opponents will just sideboard Fade into Antiquity.......

May be, we can forget about ramp & rather use insane amount of draw... ...I mean like 4 Revelation, 4 Read the Bones, 3 Quicken(nice with Verdict), 2 Divination...

The best ramp for this deck would be Chromatic Lantern & may be some keyrunes...

If you need more help, just hit me up at some of my decks, or reply here!..

Good luck!

Not a bad idea, I'll ponder on that... ...it really helpes the Demon wich is not priority here, but won't hurt either... :)

KJ... ...this won't work...

You'll just kill your ramp off with Anger of Gods & Gaze of Granite...

You don't have strong finishers... ...Reaper won't be enough by itselfe...

Ramp is no good now, 'cuz noncreature ramp stuff have left standard(at least the good part of the stuff)... ...no Farseek, nor Ranger's Path, or Gilded Lotus...

May be you should try Chromatic lantern & keyrunes instead of mana creatures, if you play wipes... ...though it would raise the curve, but you can make up for it by changing the whole concept...

Read the Bones if a must for control that has black in it...

You overestimate Putrefy... ...no regeneration is nice, but there arn't many artifacts to destroy, so I'd use more Downfall instead...

That's it for now... ...if you want to perfect this deck, I'm alwayes happy to help!.. :)

If you need ideas, you've already seen my Jund midrange-control: http://www.mtgvault.com/poetmasterx/decks/consume-the-heroes/

You have 4 Blood Crypt just for 4 cards that might need red... ...you play 3 Essence Scatter mainboard... ...2 Crypt is enough & you should drop Scatter...

I don't see what that 1 Aqueous Form does in the sideboard... ...I'd rather play use 2 Crypt Incursion...

Mind Grind is great for a mill deck that has some ramp in it(may be keyrunes/Lantern)...

You need some drawpower(Read the Bones; if you play Thoughtsize, it's awesome with Quicken)...

You need Negate & instant artifact removal to deal with Elixir of Immortality(in sideboard)...

You should mix mill with green, or white, otherwise, it won't work... ...mill became weak after rotation...

Good luck!..

I have 2 reacent mill decks, 1 Esper & 1 B/U/G... ...the B/U/G one is yet unlisted... ...if you're interested, you'll find them amongst my latest decks easily....... :)

Drop Sanguine Blood... ...there are quite some enchantment removal now in standard & an opponent with any brains will keep about 3 of them in the sideboards...

Instead you should add some more spells that could target Agent & Soul, since you cannot' really take adventage of their "Heroic" ability as the deck is now...

Mark of the Vampire is total scum... ...drop it for something better... ...may be 2 Elixir of Immortality could be useful in the sideboard...

You should get some Hero's Downfall...

Good luck!..

Thanks! :)

I have a friend who alwayes have bad luck with certain types of decks :) ...it's like he cannot draw with them.......

...is there really a skill how to draw a starting hand?? :)

I alwayes kinda' feel the elements of the deck I'm playing, so it's might be that why they never betray me... :)

Jund did well... :)

Bant as well... ...my friend finished 4th & I finished 1st :)

Another friend of mine toke my USA control deck("Medomai's Revelation") & finished 2nd place at another store...

The Bant struggles against good midrange decks, the Jund is not good enough without sideboard against well crafted control decks... ...& my friend said, that the USA control deck usually delivers, but it's anyone's match against strong midrange & control decks.......

Anywayes, Jund indured the test... :)

How was it with your friend & deck? :)

I kinda' thought the same... ...thanks for stabilesing my choise!..

I'll go with the Jund tomarow & I'll give the Bant to 1 of my friends... ...it will be interesting, if we match up against each other, because the when we tested these 2 decks against each other, it wasn't clear wich beats wich most of the time... ...mass removal ain't good against this Jund, but AEtherling gives it a hard time & after sideboarding with both decks, Bant comes up on top more times, than the Jund... ...tomarow will be a fine competetion :) ...it's been a while since I've played, especially in my local shop wich is my favorite ever... ...they don't expect my comeback, only a few knowes :)

I'm excited, finally I have time for this...

You really fell in love with these 3 cards... :) ...now, lets make a stabil deck out of these, where you don't need the combo to win...

I'll Ponder on that myselfe.......

Tomarow is FNM & I haven't decided yet wich deck to bring, but I have 2 in mind... ...I'd like to know wich 1 would you pick...
