It plays good so far.. I've had a few runs with it. I was just asking if anyone had any suggestions for any cards I missed that might be worth looking into.

Problems with creatures?

Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs can keep your opponent's from doing a whole lot when attacking so long as he lives.. or why not just try Crawlspace?

I've also been questioning adding in Tezzeret's Gambit in place of the SiB's because the extra proliferate effect (Liliana, inkmoth poison counters, Magnets, Spheres) may really be worth it in this build and I'm taking 2 damage anyway.. sooo it might just be better?! Hmmm...

Added Vamp Hexmage in SB instead of Hex Parasite as they work better with the Vat.

Thanks for the suggestions Rustedbucket. I feel as though you are right about the card draw.. so I'm upping SiB's to 4.

I'm not too sure about taking out the Inkmoths. Putting your opponent on a 2 turn clock is always worth it, and all I have to do is add a few lands to score me a tertiary win condition? I'll take 4! lol

Good call on the fetches. x4 Marsh flats added for deck thinning.

The only question is.. what is better in the current meta? Doom Blade or GFTT??

Sheoldred would be cool here too, not that you'd really need her..

Only thing I don't quite get are the sideboard Hawks.. you using preator's grasp to take swords from Caw Blade?! That seems to be the only reason to play them..

3-4 Spellskite to protect the Exarch.

It could use some counters for defense. You could probably:

-1 Trinket Mage, -1 Tumble Magnet, -1 Phyrexian Metamorph, -1 Inkmoth

to add in 4 Mana Leaks.

Should I make this 2 Inferno? Or should I keep it 1 Frosty 1 Firey?

I'm wondering if etched Champion wouldn't be better here.. maybe:
-2 Phyrexian Metamorph +2 Etched Champion and just leave the Metamorph as a 1 of?

I know this is really late, but I'll give it a try. I doubted the deck but for some reason I decided to give it a shot.

You can ramp up quite easily given all of the artifact mana you have a at your disposal, obviously being helped via the Contagion Claps (but not dependent on them.)

Jace and Tezz are obvious. The work miraculously well together.

Koth, while a strange addition, further adds to the ramp and puts pressure on the opponent early. If you can get his emblem off, it acts as a cunning sparkmage, popping off low toughness creatures or harassing the opponent's life total. He's great against caw blade when his emblem goes off because you can pop off a bird before it can be equipped just by tapping a mountain. The same can be said for any 1 toughness creatures. If you have more mountains available, then its even easier to stay on top.

With all that aside, the deck can remove early threats (Slagstorm, Galvanic Blast) and later game threats (Go for the throat, Metalcrafted Galvanic Blast) and has some control in the form of Jace and Tumble Magnets. Creeping Tar Pits are nice against opposing Planeswalkers.

Basically, this deck is great at removing creatures from the board, allowing you to sneak in some attacks with a 4/4 koth mountain or a 5/5 tezz creature or even one of your Titans or Wurmcoil Engines since most decks are playing with very small creatures, you can stay alive for a while to set up your offense.

I'm not sure how else to explain it aside from sitting down and playing you. Like I said, it's not the best deck, but I can say don't have major troubles beating Caw Blade or any aggro deck. Valakut / Eldrazi Green may be a different story, but that's what the sideboard is for.

If we're talking Type 2, Koth kills both Jaces, indirectly gains life against aggro since they will want him dead fast, and if you ever get an emblem you're in good shape against any kind of aggro deck, but especially Caw-Blade. You want to use your Scalding Tarns to get Mountains as often as possible and pop off those 1 toughness creatures all day. Have 2 mountains? even better!

Not only does Koth allow you to pop off those annoying birds before they can be equipped, but he can serve as a land destruction engine (hello rdw or boros, I make your mountain a 4/4, go for the throat/Glvanic Blast) especially if your opponent is in manascrew. He can mana ramp by untapping your mountain, become a beat stick by making your own mountain a 4/4 and bashing. With Koth, Tezz or Jace on the board (or all), play a Slagstorm and see what happens. It's not very fun for your opponent.

The planeswalkers really work well together and can make for some awesome plays especially when you get your contagion clasps adding extra counters to everything.

The only thing I can say, is try it out. It's a tough deck to pilot, but it's very rewarding if played correctly. it's not THE BEST deck, but it does have answers for just about anything.
