wow. REALLY good call on that one. totally forgot about Steel Overseer. Thanks bud :)

Platinum Angel could work pretty well too, but it's really slow... Just a thought :)
This is more of a clarification of Trample's ruling, but what happens when a 9/9 with trample hits Palace Guard with Heart of Light on it? Wouldn't you still take 5 damage? If so, I'd suggest adding Slagwurm armors or Righteousness.
I really like this. The creature-base is very well done and can really accelerate quite quickly. Only 2 things I'd consider adding would be Venser (bounces your splicers for more golems and can be a game finisher with his -1) and potentially some more golem generators like Conversion Chamber + Surge Node. My golem deck is more heavily artifact based and has no gree, but is surprisingly similar. Take a peek if you'd like :) http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=185436
Silvos, Rogue Elemental. I dropped into magic around this release and was instantly attracted to green as my favorite color. This card literally defines meaty green stompy for me, and was a part of a multitude of green decks that I've made over the years. Even today, it's hard to find a more powerful creatures for just 6 mana.
Really nice frame, love the bouncing with Skfisher, but there are a few concerns I have. First of all, there don't seem to be enough splicers to produce enough golems in my opinion. Second, (and this is just personal preference) I don't like the trouble that comes with Precursor Golem so I'd worry more about producing more golems to stomp someone to detah than go for the one shot kill. Good ways around this are Conversion Chamber + Surge Node nad Xenograft which turns your splicers into Golems too. Oh and Karn seems out of place here =/ Here's my W/U Golem deck if you wanna take a look :) http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=185436
Wait how are you getting a turn 3 kill out of this? Even with T1: Forest, Llanowar your T2 would only be Quillspike and Devoted Druid would have summoning sickness on T3. I only see T4 possible kill =/
Oh and MagicLango, the main reason Vampire's Bite is in here is not for its kicker. It's because the deck is 2 colors yet the pump would normally be only green. Vampire's Bite is there in case, say, turn two I can only drop a swamp instead of a forest and then I can swing with Glistener with Groundswell, Vampire's Bite, and a Mutagenic for the kill.
Yeah I get what you're saying... Hmm... I'll playtest and see what happens I suppose. The creature that's supposed to be untouchable in this deck is Phyrexian Crusader, but you're right in saying that my Plaguestingers and Glisteners could be obliterated by removal quite quickly. I was hoping the sideboard would be able to handle all of that, but you never know =/ Thanks for the input :)
Hmm yeah I get what you're saying. Definitely like the dropping of the Giant Growths, Hands and Canopy Covers for the VoVs, Ichorclaws and Dismembers. As of now I don't have any Verdant Catacombs (sad face) but as soon as I get some they'd be great to add. As for Inkmoth, it actually does not fit into this deck very well at all because, just to attack with it, it costs you two mana, meaning you can only start uber-pumping 4th turn =/
Yeah they keep coming up lol. Okay so here's my defense of them: If I dont have a Glistener in my opening hand, they accel me to get out other infecotrs early as well as giving me a variety of mana in case I don't pull a swamp or something. But since people clearly don't like it, I think I'll take it out and playtest it without it.
Asceticism is SOO expensive though... Plus the pseudo-flying of Canopy Cover can really help Phyrexian Hydra and others get through easy...
Lol actually they're not the scary drops of this deck. It That Betrays combined with Emrakul and Phyrexian Obliterator is craaaaazy. Also this deck is more of a joke than a serious deck. If anything, it makes fun of Jace and Blightsteel heavy decks.
Just made an attempted U/W Golem deck based around the Splicers. It's shaping up to be pretty good and Venser is a BIG part of that. Definitely keep him. His blinking ability is pretty darn good, but his unblockable creatures is priceless. Also Surge Nodes and Conversion Chambers can be fun and Xenograft turns your Splicers into Golems as well. Take a look at mine if you wanna see a more heavily artifact-based version similar to this :) http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=185436
Well made deck. The only thing I don't like is Rot Wolf. If you're looking for speed, Rot Wolf is not the way to go... I would definitely go with something else. Maybe Ichorclaw? It seems pretty weak, but because it gets bigger when blocked, you'd be surprised how often people just let it through. Also if you're looking for even crazier speed, I'm currently running a B/G infector that has a potential T2 kill, but is also VERY consistent at turn 3 or 4 kills. I would love feedback if you're willing :) http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=177895
In theory, I'm hoping that the Chalices, Mox Opals, and Shrine of Boundless Growth will help me get the Engines and Tides out relatively fast, but you're totally right about potentially needing more proliferate. I think I'm going to playtest this for a little while and see what happends, but I expect that I might drop a Mountain and a Plains for 2 Steady Progress. Thanks for the input, I will definitely keep the proliferation problem in mind :)
Canopy Cover is there for two reasons: 1) Not being able to be targeted continuously essentially provides a lasting Vines of Vastwood so it really ends up being a similar amount of mana. 2) The pseudo-flying makes it MUCH easier to get through over annoying blockers. Birds of Paradise is a horrible late draw, but in the event that I don't get a Glistener Elf opening hand, I can drop a Phyrexian Crusader T2 and already be swinging with it T3 for a kill. Unnatural Predation is the result of playing against a lot of 0 drop decks lately. Unfortunately, it's not really viable to include more removal to take out 3 ornithopters and an Ardent Recruit when I could just Groundswell and trample right through them instead of picking off one at a time. In a sense, you are correct in saying that the deck could be made faster by removing these cards, but the benefits are stability. This deck is an absolute menace among my friends' decks for the past few weeks because it mixes the possibility of a viable T2,3, or 4 kill while remaining competitive against Kuldotha, White Weenie, and some control decks. But again, the sideboard I have really says a lot. Vines of Vastwood is INVALUABLE against control so I generally drop the Giant Growths for them when taking on control. And Virulent Wound is nice spot removal against Kuldotha. Thanks for the input though :)
Lol yeah I've only got 1 as of right now :( Got most of teh other stuff though :D
I made this one a few weeks ago. It uses the Melira + Phyrexian Unlife combo as well as some more nifty combos you may have missed ;) Check it out if you wanna see some more fun things to do with Melira :) http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=177535
Hmmm I'm gonna have to say that the Vensers really do make a good deal of Golems in the late game mostly because it costs no mana to bounce them so I can use mana on Titan Forge, Surge Node, etc, so I think they'll have to stay. But you're totally right about Inexorable Tide; it's going in immediately. Thanks bro :)
