Ahhh both good calls. Thanks :)

Good call on Dark Rituals. I only need to get Curse of Misfortunes out to really get the ball rolling so a Dark Ritual would really help that out. Grave Titan is actually not about winning, but more about filling up my board to try and live longer to allow the curses to take affect and kill. This deck is meant for casual play with my friends who dont care about restricted or banned cards. Obliterator is a tough call due to the specificity of its casting cost.... I'll look into it, Thanks man :)
Wut. This hit front page when I hadn't even been on the site for like a year O_o Ummm thanks guys lol XD
I consulted a local judge (not very high up but still) before making this deck on this one... The way that he explained it is 2 different possibilities. First, we will separate the two different effects as being placed differently on the stack. In this case, Sundial being triggered at the end of the extra turn would wipe the stack and you don't lose. The second is that the card's effects, in their entirety, are placed on the stack at the end of the next turn, but the stack is still cleared by the Sundial again anyways. So yes, the effect giving you the extra turn is wiped too, but you already took it anyways so it doesn't matter. Either way, I'm about 90% sure that this works :D
Casual play deck and I meant cheap as in low cmcs. But yeah thanks :)
Good call. Could be useful if I'm not able to finish them off quickly enough. Thanks :)
Maybe it's just me, but there doesn't seem to be much of a sac-engine here. I get that you want to heavily sac creatures, but I don't really see what you're intending on continuously sacrificing. Pawn of Ulamag only gets you 2.... I would look into some way of getting creatures back once they're sacrificed so you can do it again. Just my opinion though. Looks fun :)
haha yeah its fun. generally i just use this to piss on their decks without really trying to win. Peer Pressure is a pretty great win condition, but your'e probably right: I could use power finishers.
I was considering putting in Evolving Wilds to try and compensate, but I really dislike the delay in land it causes. Honestly, with essentially 7 plains and 15 swamps, I thought it would be consistent enough. My ideal start is having one plains until I have around 6 mana and then I need 2, but no more after that...
Took me a little while to catch the big combo, but it is absolutely brutal. Only thing I'd consider (maybe sideboard) is Noxious Revival to stop interrupts of Myr Retrieval fetching.
ahhh...a nother excellent Persist creature I overlooked. Thanks bro.
you may want to try and add some prevention in here since a single Surgical Extraction could take care of Liquimetal Coating in a heartbeat.
Yeah, to be honest, the sample hands arent very good. If you actually look at the number of mana sources (10 land + 4 Mox Opal + 4 Simian Spirit Guide), you should hit one at a little over every 3 cards. That means that you should have around 2 to start, and if you dont, you should draw into one very soon.
Generally what I've seen with Chandra/Koth combo decks is low mana costing burn and then a few single drops like Desperate Ritual to get you up to Koth who you can use to boost into Chandra using his -2. The ultimate goal is to have both the battefield and use Koth's +1 to just chuck 4/4 lands at them constantly until he hits his ultimate, and to use Chandra's +1 or -2 for crowd control. This keeps your opponent locked down and with limited options until Koth's final and Chandras +1 and -2 are able to let you just chuck fire at the opponent for the kill. Personally, I've always had a lot of trouble working with U/R since the balance between burn and control is so dependent on your opponents deck. I havent really tried with the new Chandra yet though, to be honest. Ive mostly worked with Chandra Ablaze when making UR since you can lock down your opponent with control until you can pull off Chandra's final. I guess the main focus of a new Chandra plus blue deck should probably focus less on counters and boomerangs and more on sorceries used on your turn to reverberate. Distortion Strike with her could be hilarious as well, so some nice hard-hitting creatures could fit well...
thanks bro
Nooooooooo. Oh well. 1 combo out, some more jump right in :)
Damn... the people you live near actually like to trade... For some unknown reason, everyone around me refuses to trade cards whatsoever. Ive been trying to get 2 foil Surgical Extractions out of a guy I know for months and he's not even using them and wont accept some DAMN good trades... Grats on getting ur Planeswalkers tho lol.
Augh Banned List for Modern... Why must you be so cruel??? Alright time for some more reworking... Yah that Curse of Stalked Prey is definitely a beast in here. That ups the threat range a good 25% or more... Damn. Thanks bro.
Yay front page =D Although I do find it somewhat humorous how a vast majority of the likes for this deck were from me and SavageTheCabbage chatting it up a bunch. Thanks bro XD
Yeah Im still debating on Chandra in here too. Like I said already above, she extends the threat range in turns 3 to 4 allowing for a big kill, but is a dead draw in a 2-3 turn game. Im gonna have to playtest this one to figure out whether she should stay in or not =/
