Thanks man. Great to have a supportive community full of insight and knowledgability, not jackasses with no insight other than insults. Great to have you on the vault. Go die in a hole.

Hmm maybe, except Arsonist is an EXCELLENT blocker and that extra 1 damage it brings can save ur neck a ton. Plus, I dont really know how long my creatures will stay on the field due to Goblin Grenade and Artillerize so I dont know how terribly effective battle cry is. I will playtest it though. Thanks
Another great way to get rid of the Pharaoh is with Zombie Infestation. A Zombie tribal with both of those can be a really good time =D
Yeah Hellcarver Demon can be one heck of a risk. Honestly though, since the release of M12, I keep looking back at this guy and thinking... "How awesome would drawing a Sorrin's Vengeance as one of your six exiled cards be? And even better: how about a Sorrin's Vengeance and a Reverberate?"
Nice Standard Stompy :) Only thing I'd change is taking out Joraga Treespeaker for Rampant Growth. For the same amount of mana, you'll get a lot more out of 4 mana 3rd turn than having to spend a ton of mana to level up Joraga and then not get much payoff since there are so few elves in here =/
Playtesting has found that 3 is "usually" enough with 2 GSZ, but depending on the deck im playing against, Ive sometimes even played 4 with 3 GSZ lol
Yeah that combo has to be my favorite just for the blank-faced confusion and awe in your opponents face. The first time I did it my friend was just like, "........wait........ hold on.....hmm..... okaythat works.... daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn......"
I know this doesnt really help the combo out, but Vengeful Pharaoh can be fun to sac for Zombie Infestation. Maybe a good SB option?
Favorite Card: Venser. Quite simply Venser is versatile and awesome. As per my questions... 1) What first got you into playing Extraction and why? 2) What's your secret to balancing a deck's versatility and its effectiveness along a set strategy / what do you look for first? 3) What standard strategy do you think will be the most powerful/viable in upcoming standard? 4) On a sacale from Moldy Bread to Bone Saw, how awesome is Goblin Grenade? Congrats on your 150th man. You're a huge part of what makes the Vault awesome, and I can't wait to tune into your next article or just enjoy your incredible decks. =D
Hmm I totally get what you're saying about Metalcraft in here... I actually do not remember why some of the cards in there or why I thought they were a good idea. I will definitely fine-tune this one by removing the Metalcraft. Thanks man :)
Lol yeah I see this one a bunch. I totally get the whole gist behind Virulent Swipe and have MBed it before. The real reason it isnt in here is simply because that extra +1 makes a big difference. Take a look at Glistener Elf T1 drop and then next turn swing. Essentially what you want to see in your hand is a land, groundswell, mutagenic, and another buff. Adding all those up you get a total of 7 damage only, meaning your last buff has to be at least +3 to get a T2 kill. I know that T2 kills are rare and somewhat silly, but having the ability to do so with a number of cards that is diverse is incredibly useful. Hope that explains why I chose Bite over Swipe... :)
Actually Vampire's Bite isn't in there for the kicker. It's a +3 attack buff that is black, meaning that it balances out the mana colors so that I can actually consistently play buffs that arent all green :)
I pulled some nice white stuff in my sealed as well, but didnt run it due to variety as well. Love your use of Venser; he is slowly becomign my favorite Planeswalker ever. In terms of advice, I agree with the tons of people above me who have already stated this, but maybe consider Gideon's Lawkeeper. He's awesome :)
Oh and i didnt include Preordain since its cycling this fall =(
t@Reaper-NL: yeah, unfortunately Phipler is right, this is meant to be Standard... Appreciate the help though :) @Phiphler: Here was my thought process on this. Because Grave Titan is a beast, i definitely wanted to include him even though he himself is not a zombie... And because I wanted to include Call to the Grave as well... I decided to throw in Xenograft and hope I could pull it with some draw. That was my thought-process, but I'm still unsure on some of the cards, including Mortician Beetle, which you mentioned. im open to your further opinion on what im trying to do lol' @HeliosOfCows: i totally agree on Jace's Archivist. Thank you :)
Darkslick Chores is a bittersweet card for me... I do enjoy the ability to go with a dual land really fast, but considering a lot of this stuff is expensive later, I'd rather play it safe and keep 1 land a turn without dealing with them coming in tapped. I'll def take a look at ur deck tho :)
Sideboard =D
Unfortunately Helix Pinnacle has Shroud so you can't target it with Gilder Bairn =(
Unfortunately I didnt realize how good these were and got obliterated by a few at a 40 card sealed tournament yesterday... Now I understand how good they are...
Lol there are already 2 of them in there.
