With all of that Proliferate and red, shrine of burning rage could be good. Otherwise you could look into something like Rite of Flame to continuate massive damage with the Phoenixes as well as a potential straight burn finish with Fireball. Looks damn good otherwise though :)

Dude thats freaking awesome. My M12 draft didnt go so hot. I opened up a mix-bag of junk-rares that had nothing in common. But after the tourny and I got my 10th to last place consolation prize (3 packs), I got 2 Chandras (1 foil) an Inferno Titan, and aGrave Titan. Why could I not get those BEFORE the tourny... O_o

Yeah I mispoke when I said Tutor. This stalls Fetch-Lands (REALLY annoying for Zoo and 12post like you said), but it also stalls GSZ into Dryad Arbor T1s as well as Rune-Scarred Demon and Diabolic Tutor.

Anyways, I think getting rid of the Basilisk Collar and maybe even a Leonin Arbiter could be the best way to go to drop 2 Lenses in. The only reason I say that is because Aven Mindscensor can help you tutor-stall while you draw into an arbiter with Lenses and SoFI. Thats just my 2-cents though.

And for some reason, that whole Aether Vial flashing thing didnt even occur to me and I dont know why. Its brilliant none-the-less. Honestly i dont think this will work well in here, but it might get some creative juices flowing, but Stonehorn Dignitary SB with Aether Vial means that if they drop something big and nasty like Emrakul or some crap like that, you can flash in Stonehorn to prevent their next attack phase and holdout until you can draw into a PtE. Maybe something to consider, but again, that would be your only 4 cmc creature so you'd practically be wasting Aether Vial to do it =/ Dunno. Might be worth looking into something like that tho.

Lol its kind of funny to see the subtle differences between our 2 decks. I DEFINITELY like the application of Chieftain here. Using Mox Opals, Chrome Mox, and Simian Spirit Guide, you can potentially swing with 4 2/2's turn 1 somewhat easily. Definitely like the Darksteel Citadels in here too. They curve out the Mox Opals nicely. i dont really have much to say after that XD Looks pretty damn good to me :D

Yeah... Chandra is really bumming me out in the playtesting. The problem is that, if I have her in a farily decent starting hand, I shouldnt ever really need her because the game willbe going so fast and she's just dead-weight. But on the chance that my opponent is causing me big problems, upping the damage threshold of Goblin Grenade or even Lightning Bolt can save my ass. I guess Ill have to playtest a bunch and see what happens.

To be totally honest, I wasnt the one who noticed that awesome perk of Panic Spellbomb; My friend played a really shitty Kuldotha Rebirth deck for a little while and he pointed out that nice combo to me. Definitely a VERY good target for Rebirth tho :D

Definitely will take a look at your deck and hopefully give you some good advice. Thanks for all of yours :)

I totally agree with everything youve said.

There's only a few things Im still contemplating. One is Chandra in here. Quite simply, I LOVE reverberating Kuldotha Rebirths and Goblin Grenades, but im still debating if 4 mana is too hifgh for this curve =/
Also, Im still toying with the idea of Gaveleers with Lenses but Im not sure =/

When Im running dry of ideas, I actually tend to make "Anti" decks. Forinstance: A friend of mine had been playing $3 infect for awhile and I was sick of playing against it. Thus, I made my Chisei Anti-Infect deck which absolutely gutted his whole deck and made him make new ones. Same thing with colors. One of my friends only plays green ever, so I made a Hate-On Green deck that obliterated it. Forcing others to change their decks like that can often inspire new decks as well.

Really?! =D Well, that certainly helps, but Im not sure this deck is salvaged quite yet. The first turn now seems really muddled since I lost one of my biggest mana producers =/

I rethought Simian Spirit Guide and playtested them for a little while btw. Really improved the consistency of big T1 drops since I can get the combos rolling with any 2 of the 3 T1 mana accels, which is better than needing a Mox Opal first turn always, so thanks for the note on that one :) The only other issue I'm really running into is card draw. Infiltration Lens SEEMED like it would work well, but when there are 4 2/2s attacking somebody and they only have two creatures, its extremely easy to just let the Lens 2/2 through anyways. I keep looking back at Slate of Ancestry, since technically its possible to drop T1 and my abundance of T1 creatures essentially lets me refill my hand and just keep going, but it costs a LOT of mana and without Skirk Prospector its unreliable to expect to actually USE it until around T3 or T4, so Im not sure how viable that is. Any thoughts? =/

i was looking at perilous for a little while, but this deck has the potential to put out a bunch of stuff early AND still have a big enough mana engine to dropa T1 Bushwacker kicked, meaning that Furnace Scamp alone can do 5 damage T1. Honestly, I've made the physical deck, but I havent playtested yet. There could be a lot of changes made to it after playtesting, but so far the idea of killing people EASILY by turn 2 is quite appealing lol.

Normally I would agree with Simian Spirit Guide, but multiple Mox Opals opening hand are not bad at all thanks to Kuldotha Rebirth. And Skirk Prospector is BROKEN in this deck. Imagine dropping 2 Memnites and a Mox Opal then using the Mox to sac itself to Kuldotha Rebirth. Now drop another Mox Opal and a Skirk Prospector with the Mox. You now have an insane sac engine with a potential 5 mana OR MORE first turn. As for now, that's mostly useful for dropping tons of Gobbies and some Lenses to draw into more Gobs and burn, but Im also considering adding 2 Chandra, the Firebrands in here and that combo would allow for a T1 Chandra with a doubled Goblin Grenade for 10 damage turn 1. Normally Id love to add Simian Spirit Guide in here, but this engine is just too crazy to pass up. Thanks though :)

I REALLY like this... With my first 5 sample hands I got 4 Blightsteels out by T3 at the LATEST. The only thing I would consider changing is potentially dropping another Mox Diamond for either a Mox Opal or Lightning Greaves. Thats it :)

To be honest, I dont have a lot to say about this one... I really like the Tutor-hate going on in here, and Aether Vial plus all of your two-drops (including Serra Avenger) means that, starting at T3, you'll be dropping creatures for almost no mana. The only potential nuance I see missing there is what to spend that mana on... Personally, I would invest in one or a combination of the following:
Silence. Starting T3, start locking down your opponents board using your extra mana from Aether Vial playing your creatures.
Infiltration Lens. Draw into more creatures to spend your mana on, plus, Infiltration Lens + SoFI is just a mean combination no matter how you look at it.
Oblivion Ring. Yay! Here's a plug for the most common and generic white control out there!

First of all, thank you so much; This is exactly the kind of help I'm looking for.

Regarding BoP and KotR, originally I was going to slot in KotR, but for some reason it slipped my mind that Arid Mesa can fetch the dual-lands (I was really tired) so I didn't actually slot in either and instead slotted in BoP because I didn't like the way the land-base was playing. Now that you have corrected my mistake with excluding Arid Mesa, KotR definitely takes the place of BoP. Thank you.

Regarding Infiltration Lens: Thank you thank you thank you. When I came close to finishing this deck, I began to worry about running out of cards too quickly and went searching for a cheap draw-engine. For some reason or another, I completely overlooked this gem and instead slotted Glimpse of Nature. That error has now been fixed.

Regarding the Grove + Fire + Kavu combo (that I've actually never seen before and really like now): I really like the combo, but I'm not sure how much I like it in here since it diffuses from the versatility of the creatures in here. (Too many slots for a single combo in my opinion).

Bloodbraid I'd never really even thought about, but it makes perfect sense now so thanks.

As for the Silence, I knew when I put it in there that 99% of Zoos dont include it, but I actually dont understand why not. Image a turn 1 drop of a Temple Garden and a Wild Nacatl. Turn 2 drop a Stomping Ground and a Kird Ape and swing with the Wild Nacatl, hopefully knocking out whatever tiny 1drop your opponent played. Now Silence your opponent during their upkeep. They can't play creatures that turn, leaving your 3/3 and 2/3 with an open field to swing and you with 3 mana to Giant Growth them or save those for later to continuously keep your oppoents field down. I know it seems like a weird card for Zoo, but if it keeps your opponents board down early, theyre going to have a hard time keeping up the rest of the game as you smash their face in.

Thanks again btw :)

Oh snap. I thought the quick rule of thumb was if they had the "newer-looking" format/background. I didn't realize that was not entirely correct =/

Yeah this is definitely going to need some tuning without that...

Thanks for pointing that out though :)
