Yeah Springjack and Shrine of Loyal Legions are both insane with white EDH.

It's a different format called EDH where every deck is 99 cards. Each one being different (aside from basic lands), and each card has to be the color of the card in your sideboard called your "general".

Hahaha, man our group has a deck for just about every tribe out there. As for this one, it's a surprisingly effective tribe in my Tribal format. I was actually considering Dakmor when I built this...Suppose it wouldn't hurt to use them =]

It still looks good, better even. Now it seems less "clunky"...a problem with multicolor decks in a format without fetches, duals, or effective means of land fixing -_-

I'm assuming the Sulfer Falls are in for the Gut Shots?

Unrelated note, but are you ever going to finish that Sensei Golden-Tail EDH?

It is true that this isn't Stompy, however thewuest, your understanding of what Stompy is seems a little off as well. Stompy is NOT just ramping into big fatties...much the opposite in some ways really. Stompy is the pursuit of the perfection of mana efficiency, which is why it is mono-green...the most mana efficient color.

To colorshift Stompy to red is pretty tough...for one thing, what separates a RDW from a colorshifted Stompy? The major answer is consistency. No aggro can really out-race RDW, but the deck-type is notoriously unstable and inconsistent. Annoyingly you can't quite make a consistent jump-curve in red, so the curve will have to just be consistently aggressive.

Goblin Guide is cool because it serves as an excellent card in both RDW and redshifted stompy. The dude is just damn good.

Stigma Lasher is another good choice. 2/2 for 2 is already breaking even, and the additional abilites make it a rather efficient dude to use.

Brute Force is a red Giant Growth. A no-brainer really.

Obsidian Fireheart could be nice to round off your curve. Efficient and a good source of any left-over mana you may have.

Boggart Ram-Gang is a great choice as well. And is more consistent than Ball Lightning really =/

Ashenmoor Gauger is another nice 3-drop to consider.

I'm sure there's more I've forgotten, but those are good ones to reference.

You crazy son of a bitch...you made standard legal Tempo! WTF?!

I like this a lot man, very impressive. Have you considered that sorcery version of Midnight Haunting that has flashback? Also, that new enchantment (2 and one blue) that lets you draw every time you cast something from your graveyard...I know that thing is going to be broken wide open, but it might be good for this deck too =]

dude, you seem to have double-added your lands =/

As for the deck itself, I like it. I've always thought that shifting more towards the Tar Pit over the Factory made for a slightly easier time chiseling away at your opponent, but that's just me =/

Well if I did make one, it would certainly be Thrun...he's arguably the only one that would qualify. As for doing a voltron style...I don't think that would be too good for Stompy.

With Strangleroot and that new treefolk, Filth looks like it's going to get a whole bunch of new toys =]

Oh I agree completely. I personally thought "Scars" was very halfhearted and lackluster...but the great stories and flavor that oozes from Innistrad has me very happy.

Oh, and so many of the new cards look amazing, including that hasty green two drop with Undying (it's a 2/1 methinks)...can you say Stompy? AND IT'S A SPIRIT! =D

And let's not forget that we now have an Orzhov planeswalker. Orzhov. Planes. F*cking. Walker.

Erayo got the banhammer dude, sorry =/

As for the deck, I think it's great for a first-time build. However, bear in mind that your general is going to make you enemies with everyone pretty quickly. He's amazing for a lockdown control, but like I said, he'll piss off your opponents. LOVE the use of Gwafa in here. My buddy Arty uses Gwafa as a general...that guy is a royal pain in the ass.

Haha, you're very welcome =]

The other day someone pointed at this deck's box (which has the name on it) and said "What's 'Cry Havoc' supposed to mean?". I just shook my head.

Oh I definitely like the idea, I just wonder if it's even possible to design something as large as an EDH deck so it operates with the efficiency of a Stompy...
