No cards currently that target anything in exile that they didn't put there, if that makes sense. In other words, there is no way to exile someone's cards, then play them under your control. You can "flicker' your own stuff--Venser, leonin relic-warder, and O-rings, but not someone else's and then back under your control.

For what you're looking for, I might consider running mill + Liliana Vess. You just get their creatures, but that still isn't bad.

To take full advantage of the Iso-Extirpate, I'd throw in 4x Glimpse the Unthinkable--gives you plenty to choose for extraction.

I think instead, I'll cut out the ponders and change the mana-base. Good point, though.

Necropede would give you basically infinite -1/-1 counters. It'd be great for killing off their creatures, or comboing here with undying if you wanted. It's a large combo, but:

Heartless, Havengul, Necropede, and Geralf's Messenger is a pretty funny kill combo.

I love Squee, but Wort, Boggart Auntie is a better Goblin general, imo. Not only can she return awesome chump blockers like mogg maniac, and guys with great enter the battlefield abilities like siege-gang, but also Tarfire and Warren Weirding.

The other day I had turn 1 Sol Ring, turn 2 Wort, and every turn I was making my opponent sac a creature. He scooped by turn five.

MIll 6 for 3W isn't bad, but it isn't great either. Like I said, JtR is a great card, just not worth splashing white here for. If I was going to splash any color for another ally, it'd probably be green for Harabaz Druid to get off a kicked Rite of Replication sooner. Join is good, but a kicked Rite on a Halimar Excavator is game.

You can never go wrong with Thrun. Also, I'd think about this as a mana base instead:

16 forest
3 mountain
3 Kessig Wolf-Run

Not going to hurt your Dungroves much at all, and you can find the mountains with rampants and kessig with primeval if you need to, just to pack a little bit of an extra punch. Green Sun is also a good sideboard option.

I'm liking Innistrad more and more--it's doing great things with tribal, which is one of my loves in Magic. I do feel like white and black are overpowered in respect to the other colors--which makes sense as to the flavor, but still affects the balance for me.

The Crusader is a great chump blocker--in effect a 4/4, plus pro RW. As much as I like Geralf's Messenger, especially with Glistening Oil, I'm hesitant about his casting cost: BBB in a U/B deck--it could be awhile before he gets dropped.

I know you left out New Phyrexia, but Glistening Oil with Geralf's Messenger is awesome. Good chump-blocking body that keeps coming back and dealing them damage.

I see what you mean. On the one hand, Heartless only kills Gravecrawler, and that's if I don't have a Captain or Reaper out, while also killing all of their 1/1s.

On the other hand, Grimgrin is about the only high cmc creature I have in here (barely looked at this once it was finished, and had planned to have more high cost creatures in the beginning). I think I'll swap it in the sideboard for mana leaks. Other option would be keep heartless and add some Grave Titans and other beefy guys.

As for Rooftop, I love that card--bought a playset. It rocks in my Grimgrin EDH, but I don't know how handy it will be late-game without strong draw-power, which this lacks. Even if I had Havengul, if I have enough mana to cast Rooftop, I've got enough to cast anything else. I was going for speed over brutality. Will rework it, though. Thanks for all the suggestions!

I totally missed that card! That with Sundial is hilarious, or even just against a lot of tokens. Yeah, I used to run a WUBRG Ally deck, mostly because I didn't have enough of a lot of them to make into separate decks, but I've since broken them up into UB and WRG. Join the Ranks is killer, especially with Hagra Diabolist.

Haha, a SWN AMA? Sounds good.

W:Mobilization, or Elspeth Tirel.
U: Scornful Egotist. Just the concept of him cracks me up.
B:Since I feel like saying Dark Ritual would be a cop-out, I'll go with Sign in Blood.
R:Taurean Mauler. That guy is BOSS in multiplayer games.
G: Seton, Krosan Protector. Long-time attachment to that guy--most badass artwork, imo.
Colorless:Arcbound Crusher, because of the good times we've had.
Multi:Azorius First-Wing, or Dragon Broodmother.

Question: Which is your favorite set, judged purely on flavor?

I've been hoping for awhile for a Squee walker, though I would be happy with Wort--she is probably the most wicked EDH general I run right now.

I know what you mean. Presence of Gond on him would be ridiculous. Likewise, throwing Presence of Gond on the new Midnight Guard will be pretty nuts as well. Two card combo for infinite elves.

Yeah, I realized this awhile ago. I would need something like Xenograft or Conspiracy to get the combo to work.

Me personally, I'd drop the two GC for Primeval. Also, it wouldn't hurt to have some sort of artifact to pick back up with Glissa, maybe Solemn Simulacrum.

Two cards I think will combo well with undying: Carnifex Demon and Glistening Oil. Keep dropping the oil on the messenger gives you a great chump blocker who keeps coming back.
