What are your thoughts on Skyshroud Claim vs. Harrow? Comes out a turn later, but the two forests come in untapped. If you had any basics besides forests I'd definitely stick with Harrow. Also if you're using this for Modern, which just occurred to me. I also like Might of the Masses/Echoing Courage for either early pump and often finishers. Lastly, I know you're trying to keep the elf count down, but Rhys the Redeemed is begging to be in here. :-)

A) To say Awz? is Jesus and not put Bone Saw in here = blasphemy.
B) Saying you're trolling doesn't make you a troll--by that logic, saying "I am Batman" would make me Batman. In fact, drawing attention to the fact that you're trolling completely negates that trolling. Maybe you think you're deconstruction trolling into it's primitive art form, but you're not.

Probably not--then again, I need both enchantments to get the kill combo off. Thought about adding green for Doubling Season instead of Kiki-Jiki, but again, I have absolutely zero intention of building this deck, lol.

Surprisingly not. There's a small amount of burn/discard shenanigans to disrupt them early game, and when the commander is out, she keeps effectively doubles my draw power (as long as something is happening--I long for more tribal instants/sorceries/enchantments). I would say it is usually not a "threat" right out of the gate, but it goes from annoying to threat pretty quickly. I notice it becomes a threat quicker in 1v1, in multiplayer EDH I usually try to sit back the first couple of turns. Then again, so do most other people.

Leyline is necessary in order to flash Breath of Fury onto the angel, who only exists during the combat phase. Silence is for cheap denial.

Me personally, I'd cut 1 Dragonskull Summit and 1 Sulfur Falls, and put in 2 Evolving Wilds.

Haha, if you'll notice, this deck was made for standard in 2008, and the person with this account hasn't logged in in almost 3 years, lol. Doubt he'll get a chance to check out your deck. :-)

Agreed--creaturewise, I have nothing to suggest, it looks pretty boss. What are your thoughts on adding Vault of the Archangel? I've yet to see it much in standard, but I know that card kicked my but in the prerelease draft.

My favorite elf draw engine: taunting elf + infiltration lens + Ezuri for regen. Genesis Wave can also be good since you don't have a lot of spells.

Came here to suggest Voracious Dragon, though I'm not sure this deck needs it--this is pretty badass. The two cards I might think about are Empty the Warrens--kind of a high mana cost for this deck, but you could probably storm it out a lot; and Blazing Salvo (doesn't work if you're going for the modern format, which I wasn't sure about...).

Who do you play with that lets you run power 9 and 4x sol rings? lol. Fun deck, though.

Firstly, I just scrolled back through all of my decks and yours, and found no previous discussion between you and I. If you've deleted it, that's one thing, but I have no idea what you're talking about, or what I've done to get your underwear all knotted up.

Second, the architects of this website have pointed out here (http://forums.mtgvault.com/showthread.php?t=1396) that "deck type" in deck building is differentiated from "deck format." Ergo this is a Tribal deck, whether it fits into the deck format or not. To say that I or Kilgore are "spitting in Wizards face" by calling it that isn't just rude, it's wrong.

And thirdly, I will agree that petty squabbles like this detract from the poster's ability to get feedback on his/her deck, but as the site stands there isn't a better venue for these discussions. You don't get to waggle your alpha-male manbits around here, and then try to withdraw as if you're taking the high road.

I like this idea, except how expensive he is. Still might be worth it, but I'd maybe pick up a Stonebrow, Krosan hero and switch back and forth and see which you like better.

Also, it's easiest for people viewing the deck if you put the General/Commander over in the sideboard, and 99 cards in the deck. Just fyi.

Maybe try 4x Semblance Anvil. Thran dynamo might be good, too. I'd still like to see a lot of the 4 costs brought down, and throw some good chump blockers/control/burn for early game, or you're gonna get toasted.

There isn't. He's confusing Tribal Wars--a casual format played by a select few, and "Tribal," a term that's been used to denote decks that focus on one or more particular creature types as the basis for the deck long before that format ever existed. There is nothing wrong with calling this deck Tribal.

That mana curve is pretty bad...75% of your deck has a cost of 4 or more...

There are two ways I like to ramp up to lots of Goblin tokens. The first uses Wort, Boggart Auntie to keep returning guys like Siege Gang Commander and Mogg War Marshal to play, spamming tokens for Voracious to eat. The second is spamming instants and sorceries--Desperate ritual, seething song, bolts, grapeshot, etc--then dropping Empty the Warrens stormed multiple times. Either of these would be a good addition--then I'd go 4x Voracious, 2x Predator, and lose most of the other dragons, for this deck, anyway.

A mono-red dragon tribal would keep those dragons, but lose a lot of the goblins, and go 4x Seething Song, 4x Desperate ritual, and 4x Dragonspeaker Shaman. I also like Taurean Mauler in either, especially in multiplayer games.

It does, because Lash says the creature deals the damage.

A buddy dominates with a U/B version of this, artful dodge would be the main thing I'd add.

Maralen + Archive + Bloodchief is an awesome combo I built a deck around awhile ago. Maybe consider pulse trackers to get bloodchief off quicker.
