I love flavor decks that are all about getting a different game every time. I would look into some more of the wizard cards from the Onslaught expansion--Information Dealer and Nameless One are two of my favorites. I also like Wojek embermage, who is great for taking out decks that run a lot of 1/1s.

While I disagree with Tom (I've seen good Goblin/Dragon decks, Merfolk/Soldier decks, Zombie/Wizard decks, and others) I would have to say that this would seem better broken down into two separate decks. you can still run a good B/G elf deck (Glissa and Nath would be good ideas), but these two tribes don't really complement each other. Still a decent deck, but it could give you a better result broken down into two.

Copperhorn Scout could be interesting--just regenerate him with Ezuri, and you can pump Omnath up even higher. It's hard to make a decent elf deck in standard these days, but this is one of the better ones I've seen, so props for that.

Nomad's Assembly would be really good here, check out my token deck for other ideas:

This is an interesting idea, but as I see it, it all falls apart if they have one counter for Shields. What would you do against control deck?

Just to make sure, you know Darksteel axe doesn't make the creature it equips indestructible, right? Also, `shield sphere's -0/-1 counters will still kill it, even if it's indestructible.

I'm trying out asceticism instead of withstand death, I'll repost later to see how it does. I also am aware that this needs more mana ramp, but I'm struggling with what to take out in order to put it in...thanks for the comment!

Why Spire Serpent? Not really going for metalcraft, so a 3/5 defender for 5cmc isn't great...I'd suggest some wall of tanglecord and maybe warmonger's chariot if you want to keep him, or possibly shoal serpent to replace him--1 mana more, but he's a 5/5 who will lose his defender a lot easier/more often.. Overall a pretty solid deck, though, and I love that you were able to keep it standard.

I use Slippery Bogle just for a quick drop with Aether Charge.

I feel that bloodchief ascension would benefit this deck--it triggers on both mill and discard. You don't get the decking win, but Tome Scour for ten damage and you gain ten life is pretty awesome.

Exemplar + Elspeth is awesome, isn't it?

I would look into some creature removal, since there is a ton of that in white, esp. with soldiers--unified strike, catapult master, coordinated barrage, etc.

Raksha, Golden Cub and White's Sun's Zenith come to mind. I run a White Weenie/Cat Soldier deck that also has more equipments, and it runs Auriok Steelshaper and a few others that might go well here.

Furnace of Rath, Pyromancer's Ascension, or Fire Servant?

It seems to me your primary purpose is to search out Mycosynth Golem, then use him to drop big guys for cheap. I'd recommend adding in some 0 cost artifacts + some card draw, and definitely some counterspells/shroud for the Golem once you get him out to help avoid some of the artifact hate. Here's just a preliminary idea: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=155149 .

Also, I've seen many people using this alongside Runed Halo.

I guess you're right--The copies don't count as "playing" spells. Super bummer, but it makes sense.

Thats not a bad idea...I swapped it out for 2x dark rits, since I really don't need those much anyway.

My favorite elf token combo is Devoted Druid + Presence of Gond. You can manipulate it 1,000 ways.

Immaculate Magistrate is better than Forgotten Ancient for pumping Joraga. Also, Devoted Druid + Presence of Gond with Coat of Arms out = infinite elves. Also, Taunting Elf is still one of my favorites. Check out my "Overwhelfed" deck: http://mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=103549
