Thanks for the comment first of all. Secondly, as for the cards;[[Basking Rootwalla]] is often thought of as very strong in TE decks, though I think that analysis is partially wrong. I think it's just strong seeing as how it is a mana dump in a deck that almost always wants to use all it's mana to fuel it's namesake card. Another issue is that it is not good against any of the top decks in the current meta. The top 6 best decks either don't care about it, or fly right over it.[[Brain Gorgers]] are just a worse [[Arrogant Wurm]], which is a phenomenal card as it is both a threat that, combined with [[Fume Spitter]] threatens even the biggest creatures in the format, and running just 1 makes it so that, if it enters play game 1, your opponent might spend the entirety of games 2 and 3 playing around Wurms that aren't even in your deck. But I don't run it because it is too linear if that makes an sense. Every card I run is good for a variety of reasons, or is an absolutely necessary component of the deck's engine.Though, what would you cut for it?

I don't think a playset of the sanitarium is a wise choice seeing as how it is in fact legendary. And though it is indeed the case that you want one every game, it is also the case that half your deck draws cards, and that you will get one no matter how hard you try not to even if you run 3 or 2.Other than that, do you think going into another color would be better than running cards like Trickster, and Unsubstantiate, and Unsummon?
I love you
Dead of winter in a creature deck eh? That's like a Nicky song on a funeral; it just doesn't belong.
Never thought I'd see Fishliver Oil in a deck xD
Honestly, the monkeys worry me the most, I have seen then break the legs of antelope's without even using both arms! Got anything else besides the plunger for me? A hydraulic press maybe? A spare antelope to distract them? I mean chimps can rip out your penis! The muscles that anchor it to your body are made of bloody iron. How does anyone 5-0 a GP with just a plunger? Or should I start hitting the gym?HELP!
I don't think "guess" is the right word here
The costs... may have increased xD
Well... this sure as hell is what blue ought to be. I've been searching for a mono blue modern deck since Probe got banned and I was left without mono blue Delver. This might very well replace it as soon as I leave the gas station without paying enough times.
Yeah no, you get a +1 just for the name. In fact, to celebrate the fact that it is rumored to be the case that Shrek 5 is getting released this year, I am also going to be making a new account and liking with that one xD
Jesus, how can someone be so enthusiastic as to have their enthusiasm bleed over to their bloody deck names xD
I was going to say something to the effect of "This seems familiar" then I looked at who made the bloody deck xDOh, and BTW, where can I fix the missing sound-effect bug on my Arena?
Seems more midrange than control tbh, with Thieves and pirates and all.Not really sure what to suggest so I'll ask something instead; how does this plan to beat the more effective midrange decks such as Gruul, and how about mono Red? And why not go all in on thieves?
I sure hope you never play against a non-creature centric deck xD
Format? Modern, I know, just probably not competitive I'd imagine. Either way, having aggressive cards like Guttersnipe and Sonic Assault and Risk Factor with slow ass cards like Thousand-Year Storm tends to make for lost games.
Hang on, it might be the case that the past few months have all just been one long-ass DMT trip, but I could swear on my uncle's baldness that Deathrite was banned.Oh yeah, this was made back when anno domini was referring to 2016 xD
See that's more or less what I meant; balancing something where the rules are "anything goes" ought to be hard enough to where few try. I hardly believe it to be obscure as I'd imagine every game store has one such playrgroup made up of either nostalgic adults or begging kids. My issue has always been with balancing decks in such playgroups. Though it is a concern that springs purely from anecdotal experience as every such playgroup I have ever witnessed seemed to spiral out of control and become degenerate. Though I'd imagine that is not a problem you are having.
xD Yeah, but broke people can play this, they can't play that which most think of when they hear the word 'Vintage' uttered. Beast Within feels good. Damn, feels weird to make these kinds of suggestions, as I said, outside of my conceptual domain. Still fun to hang out here while I feel like procrastinating xD
It is mostly a metagame issue, to balance decks that cross all formats whilst adhering to abstract rules designed to ensure some semblance of acceptable balance withou turning it into Vintage for broke people takes more than I am willing to give.It is however wonderful to see it work out for someone else.
I am sorry to say that this is not only outside my area of expertise, this is downright out of my conceptual domain. I don't really know what useful critique I could give.
