It may.... in what setting? And what does 'work' mean in the context?

Nameless inversion. It is a knight and a kill spell, it is in fact the card that even competitive decks sometimes run with Haakon. It seems rather dubious to run 2x Ashes and 2x Haakon in a deck revolving - in no small part - around those two. Buried Alive does serve to alleviate this problem a bit but should Haakon be exiled or enchanted in a way that disables his abilities you would find yourself in quite a precarious situation.Phyrexian Crusader seems out of place... the chances of you drawing 1 by turn 3 are 57.3% then it would need to survive and hit your opponent 4-5 times, which while possible, is taking away from the strategy that the rest of the deck has deployed.20 lands seem like a very small amount, the chance to have 3 lands by turn 3 is 72.2% (assuming you went 1st), the chance of hitting a 4th land on curve is 53.6%. Not terrible odds, but not great either.Last thing that I'd add is that Dash Hopes is almost always a plain terrible card, I said 'almost' because 17 land mono black aggro decks can use it as a counterspell, any other deck will soon find the card quite useless.Alms of the Vein is a similar card, only good in hyper aggressive aggro decks or metagames that will have you playing against such decks fairly often. That would be all the critique I can muster. The deck seems to scattershot with me not being able to identify what the main *focus* is.
Well, I'd say 2for1ing someone with Llanowar Evles is the wet dream of all that play green
Why Gaea's Herald then? To protect manadorks from Force of Will? xDI like the idea though
Yeah, it scales all well and mighty into the late game that this deck never encounters, or at least never wants to. That's like burn running Fireball.
The Cemetery was not there as of the time of my comment, but that's not relevant now. What is relevant is the "Draw Sample Hand" button does not lie, 62 is too many cards and 17 is too few lands. Burn decks that want to draw 3 and no more lands will run that many. And yes, you do have 6 ways of getting lands. The Vigil however reduces the chance of drawing them and Grapple requires one of the very scarce lands to be in the bin.Not saying it won't work, just saying that people run 60 cards and 22ish lands in decks the curves of which go to 5 mana.
Why play so few lands, no dual lands and have 62 cards?
Bellow is way weaker in here, way weaker than any card n the deck in fact. Though, it is interesting to think it's applications as a sideboard card for games that are bound to go long. Putting in that, as well as resilient creatures could make for interesting games against control decks.
I opened the dude on prerelease an he was better than I would ever have anticipated. So I looked into EDH possibilities for him but I have to say I remain skeptical. The one thing I'd add to this deck is some form of giving him Double Strike.
Lmao, the Czech have taken over the site xD
The site is a rotting husk, might as well rejoice whenever some weird shrooms grow out of it. Now like the shroom!
Hatching Plans having synergy with only Extricator of Sin seems quite weak to be honest. When it works it WORKS, when it doesn't it is as if you mulliganed to 6 or 5. I'd add at least 2 more cards that work with the Plans.
I tend to like duress in these builds due to its ability to win games really. Duress is the difference between "Doom Blade your Crusher" and "Go to game two".
Also, Gratuitous Violence is terrible here and Ring of Three Wishes is terrible always
Any artifact rock for acceleration, ideally also a way to get the Platinum Emperion back once they kill him, Trash to Treasure
25 lands eh? why? Why not Ponder, Brainstorm or Preordain?
Madcap Experiment, 4 mana Platinum EmperionThe concept seems super cool, although extremely clunky. I'd look into ways to get a more efficient combo online asap. Faithless Looting is a start.
God I love that you mentioned that it is casual, spared my some time and you a headache. That said, this has only 1 problem; Lands.Brainstorm is powerful when you have fetches, even just Evolving Wilds to shuffle away the 2 you put back on top.And 6 mana cards in a deck with 22 lands seems dubious.
Seems strange to have both Dolmen Gate and Whispersilk Cloak in the same deck, stranger still that you chose mediocre infect creatures over card draw to enable you to draw more of the good threats
This deck needs a bullet to put it out of its misery. It stands testament to two things;Just how unbelievably stupid I was 4 years ago.And how unbelievably stupid all the people who did not point out the difference between budget and casual whilst not telling me how much this deck sucks are.Which trust me, it sucks a lot.Besides a bullet this deck would need another color to give it removal, or a way of surviving, plus hard counters. That said, Fuel for the cause goes in.
