Me too actually xD Totally went over my head. Though, besides the obvious 2 mana counterspells it wants to be played in place of here - what else would you cut? Keeping in mind that Disrupting Shoal requires a decent distribution of mana costs.

A very, very nice explanation. I have not played that much Grixis control in modern, not enough to be able to argue on the statistics of AV, but I can definitely see how this version of the deck would be better.
Although, how do you fare against AV decks?

Hmm, an interesting take then. Although, delver decks are best when the aim of the deck is to capitalize on the sheer tempo the card gives.
I would probably make something along the lines of a basic grixis control deck, be it with artifact lands or without. Not sure how I would improve this one as it stands.

I did not even see the delirium difficulty! Nice! Another argument for more Inversions, because they are tribal which counts too

How many people did MTGGoldfish inspire? xD You're the fifth person I saw building this today.
That said, Dimir House Guard as a playset is something I love. The lack of Kalitas - not so much. Just as I am not a fan of the lack of either card draw, Lili or Inquisition.

Seems like a lot of work to make Angler work. And 3 colors in an aggressive deck in pauper seems weak too. Thoughts?

Finally! My kinda guy!
Raven's Crime seems too many, although, I myself have played 3 in some metagames in loam decks.
I hate to see Nameless Inversion as just a 1-of, I abhor it.
Lili *feels* like it should be more than a 2of, but that might well be just as feeling.

Bob and Lili would like to join, any reason why they weren't invited?

Fetch lands (even Evolving Wilds) for easier delirium.

Modern
As in, the fate of this in standard is a 5-letter word starting with D and ending with EATH

Needs hand disruption
Stensia Masquerade is redundant with Stromkirk Captain, and often downright terrible. A great sideboard card however.
Terminate is nowhere to be seen?
Guul Draz Vampire seems like a way worse one drop than Falkenrath Gorger

Why no AV?

Liliana of the Veil seems sub-optimal. Instead I would definitely go for what magicviking mentioned, Spectral Prossession and Smugler's Copter.
Collective Brutality also seems a bit out of place, but a one-of seems good nonetheless.

God this was a long time ago xD I as such an idiot back then, so much so that "budget" was "themed" in my eyes. That aside, yes, definitely, and the walls should be counterspells
