http://www.mtgvault.com/theswarmer/decks/budget-boros-land-destruction/I still just might build it some day, such a shame... such a shame...

I know the change was triggered by the new aftermath cards, but that's why I said the change was done poorly. They could have made the rule apply just to the aftermath cards.Or make a different rule just for the aftermath cards.Or make it so that the cards have 2 CMCsBut not just flip us all off like this...
Gosh I wasn't the brightest back then xD
I hate it too, the cards were by no means broken or too popular, they made for chaep-ish decks that had some sick synergies and were quite fun to play. I abhor this change personally, it makes no sense. And there were better ways to go about it too :(
I was literally days from building boros land destruction with boo // bust dwellers. LITERALLY DAYS.Dodged that one, but I still hate this change
I think playing a card that is, in this deck, objectively worse AND is as simple as the gate seeing as how it gains life where as the gate has an additional land type, is simply wrong. They both do something else besides being shitty duals. Saying that a gate is more simplistic than gaining life is quite the stretch. Not that both aren't bottom-of-the-barrel-simple cards.
Why not dismal backwater? why the guildgate?
Wait, what? Why make it legacy legal? Why include hymn and therapy? And why only 3 death clouds? I=And since it is not budget why no liliana of the veil? I am very confused xD
I knew they could flash back the fuse cards. Knowing this I think I am building mono red control very soon...thanks for the inspiration!
After probe got banned my dreams of building a titi delver deck in modern with disrupting shoal were shattered.Lets just say that Quickling+Spellstutter Sprite are more than welcome to replace that dream...
Can GDD cast bust and gone? If so then I know what I'm building next...
WOW! Just wow... I feel like some of the card counts could be tossed around a bit but still... wow!
While i have not tried it I think the gearhulk is worse than another wurmcoil more often than not, but that might just be a thing of meta. Still however the double blue in the mana cost is gonna sting often I'd imagine.Besides that, I really like it, it has even more avenues of attack than the usual builds which is saying a lot.
Kinda active, I still live and I never close this page but I comment on a semi-daily basis.
And blood crypts instead of temples and a lower curve
I'd cut Sprout Swarm to fill the playsets of ancient and sporesower. You can never run less than 4 of those in fungus decks, having enough fungi is essential, otherwise 2 kill spells can lose you the game
http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/list-of-female-legends/Should help a bit :D
Wait, what? Only casual lets you play more than 1x of moxes, lotus and walk and playing those in casual is just... well the most fair thing in the world to be honest. Also volcanic island instead of steam vents. And more mana rocks or ancient tomb and city of traitors
Well, either go combo or go value, you can't have both. Either the deck has to try and get value from flikcers and play creatures that enable that or the deck has to cut all those cards and focus on the combo.I'd suggest cutting Bloodhunter Bat Cloudshift, 2x Mnemonic WallAnd adding things like brainstorm, ponder, lightning bolt and such, cards that keep you alive by killing creatures and cards that get you to your comboPS: tranquil cove instead of the guidgate.
Nothin' beats the rock, the rock is just the best cards in the two colors."B/G Obliterator Rock is the epitome of midrange. It features a healthy suite of discard spells in conjunction with diverse removal to handle any problem permanents you might encounter. Its creatures are hand-picked to defend you early, but also to close the game quickly once you're ready to do so. The goal in the early game is to play defense against aggressive decks, and to set control and combo decks off-balance with disruption. In either case, once you're ready to turn the corner, it will only take a couple of turns for your giant creatures to finish off the helpless opponent."-Reid Duke
