First of all, Iove the deck, this take on BW control is really interesting.

Authority of the Consuls is such a cool inclusion, goodbye to crew!
The Thalia's Lancers package also seems amazing.

The problem that I think the deck has is the curve. It is waaaaaay too top heavy.
I'd cut down on least important cards with a cmc of 5 and above and put in a lot more early game cards, if your deck is capebable of having board control by turn 4 or 5 it will make it so that your walkers will take to you vicotry very easily.

I thought about that a lot during the pre-release but not much afterwards. Thinking about it now, I think a one-of is pretty good here.
Thanks for the reminder.

Not sure how good this is but here's an idea:

I think it's a bit unpolished but interesting.

This is an absolutely lovely way to approach the deck.

I mean seriously, what's not to love? The enomb synergy, the Smokestack synergy, the Crucible of Worlds synergy, it's dumb to go on, the deck is packed to the brim with interactions, maybe to the point at which it could harm it, but on second thought, this is pox, you discard stuff you can't use.

Though I hate to see Liliana of the Veil not be playset :( I think that this deck has managed to fix the "pox problem"(having no way to take advantage of your opponents lack of anything) and therefore might not need the 4th one.

I would hovever play Inquisition instead of Thoughtseize, you lose a lot more life than the regular pox deck, or am I missing something?

And the poem, the love for pox great job!

PS: Any thoughts on modern pox? Particularly the death cloud versions.

Ulamog is probably better, it's a matter of having the other two for my friend I guess.

Aether Theorist is imo better than Servant of the Conduit, you don't need to ramp towards anything but the mravel and you don't want to use energy becasue you need it for the marvel.

As far as cards like nissa and dreams are concerned, I think that they do have a place in the deck if you wish to have a backup plan mainboard. The problem is whether that is worthed in a deck that needs a combo, cards to enable the combo, cards to find it and cards to make sure you survive to see that combo go off.

The ratios are always a nightmare with these decks but it makes them A LOT more fun tu build.

Well, a friend of mine is building a similar deck RN, though he will rely on Kozilek and Emrakul to do all the beating, not sure which version is better.

Some input:
Glassblower's Puzzleknnot seems a lot better than Woodweaver's Puzzleknot, I think I would ditch Woodweaver's Puzzleknot alltogather and put in either creatures or ways to get you to your marvel.
Aether Theorist seems like a slam dunk to me.... You get a good blocker, 3E and the ability to srcy till you get your marvel.
Jace seems amazing here, Nissa however seems like more of a sideboard card.

Speaking of SB, I think it should do 3 things:
1. Protect the combo
2. Give another approach at the game/another gameplan or win con. such as Nissa, Vital Force
3. Answer the meta ofc, preferably by providing new toolbox options.

Just ideas, I have only spent 30 minutes with the deck and I am no standard connoisseur so I probably am not right about everything,

I don't have anything to add to the deck and I mean, it obviously does well :D
I really like this approach to modern, forcing people to play a game they can't play, a mono red game in this case. I'm currently doing the same to at my lgs but I force them to play a game in which they have 0 lands and really, 0 of everything, death cloud you know.

One thing I will add though is that I LOVE the threat diversification you've got going on, it's just nice to look at and fun to think about, props!

Salvage is a card I have considered and concluded that it's just not good enough, the only turn on which you'd want to play it is turn 1, after that it slow you down quite a bit. Besides that you also don't really want to use it after smallpox and you're pretty capeable to topdeck black after death cloud.

Thank you very much.
The enchantments are a meta choice for me, I did forget to mention that. With infect, affinity, delver/young pyro variants, bobs and lots of lingering souls it does A LOT.

Smallpox I love, I have made dozens of decks that use it and here it is a pretty good replacement for lili. And the more I think about it the more I like it. What do I cut though? I guess all the curses go...

How in the name of Azmodan do I always forget about the needle? Like, every third pox deck I make I just forget to put it in the sb even though it fixes so many problems. Although, it is nonbo with death cloud...
What should the ratio be, smallpox makes cloud a lot worse, not bad, but worse. I guess that testing will show.

Thanks again.

Less x spells ore draw is the way I'd do it.
The idea is amazing! I've never looked at the card from this angle and I gotta say I love it.

Spreading Algae and Urborg is a very nice combo that works with Auratog very nicely.

Good job! I love the deck, I have never thought of usig scry and especially Mystic Speculation with miracles in modern! I have no idea how viable it is due to the nature of decks like these, ones that have their cards split into 2 categories but the srying could totally fix that.

One thing I'm not sure on is Bonfire of the Damned, woudn't 4x Terminus be better and cheaper? (in terms of the mana base, playing red just for a boardwipe in colors that have supreme verdict seems wierd)

I gotta say I really like, I'm not sure what I'd cut if I were to build it. The problem with these loam pox decks is that they are very dependant on the metagame they are played in.

And I have to mention Endless Whispers, I love the card and it's amazing to see that you have decided to include it.
