"Now I've been advocating for a long time that going below a minimum of 12 ways to get a color is catastrophical."Which is exactly why I ONLY bring in moon vs decks it hurts MUCH worse than me.I can survive with only 1 mana of each colour and have extra basics of each colour.I would only bring this in vs:TronEldraziAffinity InfectScapeshift(maybe a few junk decks depending how greedy their lands look)You don't play moon because its great with your deck, you play it to soft lock or slow down your opponents game plan, My deck can work on a much higher level than the decks above with a moon in play.I have 14 blue sources(which I need as a turn 1 delver or turn 1 scour are exactly what we are trying to do)I have 13 red sources(this is where cutbacks should be made as moon counts my non-basics as red post-board meaning I should probably SLIGHTLY lower this count down 1-2)I have 11 black sources which could go as low as 10, but I feel safer with 11 as I do want black mana as an option turn 1-2 for discard/turn 2 tasigur.)I could safely drop 1 black and 1 red mana for say 2 ghost quarters.(I honestly just threw this deck together in like 10 minutes so I know the lands may not be perfect)The turn 1 blood moon is SUPER unlikely and is like a 1-100 if not higher chance of happening...Also it takes them to empty thier entire hand while only really adding bloodmoon to the table as pressure...Your keepable hands change postboard, which is where you would fetch around your own moon and theirs.But honestly, affinity shouldn't be sideboarding in moon vs me in the first place... I am already bringing it in vs them so I will already be fetching accordingly.

I feel you would need 4x vial for that to be true, and merfolk handles tron, eldrazi and most decks better due to disruption.honestly vial is one of the main reasons why fish is so strong...It allows you to cast creatures while holding up counter magic.Also fish has a better lategame as master of waves, and lords scale your whole team.
I feel this deck is begging for soulfire grand master, I would replace Gisela(on 21 lands you won't be casting this, having it in your hand is basically a mulligan)and also replacing Brion, you want your creatures to stick around.
It doesn't really hurt or press our manabase at all honestly.We have enough basics to fetch out(before it's cast), plus our non-basics are still mountains which are still live in our deck.Most of our blue spells cost only 1 blue, same with black and red, the only time you ever NEED two blue is if you're snapping a blue spell back.In the end we would only bring moon in vs decks that it hurts more than us anyway like tron, eldrazi, scapeshift, affinity etc.22 lands is low if you don't have lots of cycle effects.losing 4 snapcasters to theft is rough, seriously sorry about that man.That humans deck is pretty neat, I wasn't saying the magus was weak as a card, just weak in your deck.I find magus strong in CoCo or say a dedicated meta hate deck like that humans list(the deck wouldn't be something you play every week, but if you played it every otherweek you're more likely to have decent numbers with it)
It follows the same idea as living end, just not as graveyard based.Fun deck either way, played it a few years ago.
Mill as a full strat can work, but random mill as you stated just isn't worth it. (UB mill in modern can be sweet)Mindcrank only has one place in combo decks, and even at its best, its still in a terrible combo deck lol.
I like the idea of slivers and allies decks, just in modern they're basically bad versions of the merfolk deck...
I would go down to 1x keranos and get like iona or something as a rites target.

It's all good, it still wasn't the worst, just isn't as optimal as in other decks lol.

I would try to get 1x urborg in the deck just as a tutor option with map.it makes it so you can tap your eye's for mana(so they net 3 mana on eldrazi spells)every other bit of advice would be based on if you planned on taking this to a modern tournament or not.
Proxies for commander sure, but anything else? unless its just testing with friends to see how you like a deck nope.besides maybe legacy, our legacy group was letting something like 20 proxies (most people just used land proxies), just because we wanted to expand the legacy community without scaring people off with too pricy of decks.Most of us get to a point where we just want fancy commander decks, my one buddy has a printer that can print over foils. He printed alt art for every single card in a few of his decks lol, some people would bitch about it and he would have the other deck on standby to show he had the real cards lol
All the random elementals that are just thrown in the deck because they're elementals...scute mob, a good amount of the landfall cards, etc.
You're running enough lands that ETB tapped that it is still fine.You're already running a ton of cards that are sub-optimal.
I would keep herald, he lets you draw cards.
I would say Aether vial and eldrazi monument seem good here.Monument is great while your commander is in play.
Aether vial seems like it would make this deck a lot better...
