Kor, Wall of Denial, and Spirit Loop are not Standard I believe. Only three cards to replace tho not bad! Go on right ahead my friend and tell me of your results!

Thank you, also, how can I take the deck off the unloved group? I'm pretty new to the site and was testing the option.
I agree with the mana issue by the way, I simply counted the ratio of blue to red cards in the deck and didn't even consider double color costs >.< haha. There's always something that will slip my mind when making decks off shorthand..

Well, If you got time check out my other decks. Most importantly the Sacrifice Deck... piece of work that one is haha.

I definately see what you are saying with the lack of creatures, I've been going back and forth with that as well. But all you need in this deck in 1 stalker for the win. 1 Kor will keep you drawing until you get everything for the win (including stalker) and the wall will drag out the turns until you get one of the first two. Long story short... no creatures = mulligan.

Steel of Godhead is good, I've always liked that one. But I believe the multiple 1 drop auras are better in this deck rather than higher drop ones that do multiple things. The reason is this deck has great draw power, you will always have cards in hand no matter how quickly you try to play them, and ethereal armor/ Kor spiritdancer/ sphere of saftey all work off how many enchantments are in play under your control. This is why they are all low drop to get them out fast in numbers.

Celestial Mantle is much too high of a drop for this specific deck but I am real glad you introduced me. I can feel a new unblockable deck coming... hmmm... unblockable + hexproof + lifelink + celestial mantle.... indeed...

I also have used curse of exhaustion, it used to be in this deck for some time. And Angelic destiny isn't really going towards the focus much...

Thanks for the input!!

Just finished looking up both cards.. Not a big fan of Call to the Grave simply because this is a sacrifice/vamp deck. I do like Ruin Sage tho.. I does fit in nicely with the theme and direction but the reason I wouldn't put it in is because currently the highest drop card in this deck is 4. And with that one card by turn 4 my eldrazi give me all the sacrificing I need. That and I do like having the option of choosing when everyone sacs a creature as oppose to everyone expecting that they will each turn. Definately putting Ruin Sage in sideboard tho thanks!

Yeah, that would be nice! I've thought about that already but the reason I wouldn't is because ALL my other monsters are already hexproof or shroud. I wouldn't see it as worth it if only one of my creatures would benifit from adding a hexproof aura.

I can see this deck being pretty scary once you start playing your dragons. My problem with this deck tho is that it will take you sooo long to get them out. Your 1/1 artifact and other forms of shorthand defense will not be enough to out live most opponents. And the deck relies on getting your high drop cards out. I run a sacrifice deck, by turn 4 you will be constantly sacrificing any creature you play on the field as I get stronger. All your dragons would be useless. My girlfriend runs an enchantment deck that rids you of your best cards while swinging at you with unblockable and hexproof monsters. My biggest reccomendation for you would be to pick 3 or 4 of your best or favorite high drop monsters (using 4 of each) and leave the rest of the deck to "mana ramping" yourself and gaining a better defense.

Nice, I've been wanting to build a true detain deck. Good to see an example.

I like it, I'm sure this deck is very scary to pay against! However, may I suggest including Invisible Stalker? 1B drop and has Unblockable Hexproof. Kor Spiritdancer is always perfect in enchantment decks and Aura Gnarlid seems like something I would use but the Enchantment deck I just posted (right after yours) is white blue without any green.

That's also why I have multiple decks. One deck might love having tons of creatures at once and others might just like whenever a creature dies.

For your vampire deck, I would really suggest finding a focus within the vampire theme to stick to. Then narrow your creatures (and other cards) based on what helps the focus. Doing this, you will find you have enough cards for three different, all better, vampire decks.

My vampire deck focus is gaining +1/+1 counters each time it deals damage to a player. So I use a lot of Stromkirk Noble, Markov Bladmaster, Rakish Hier, and so on. Instead of using Blade of Bloodchief like my Sacrifice deck I use Executioner's Hood instead and Volcanic strength to get counters and mountainwalk. Try finding something very specific for each deck.

Sacrifice decks can be hard to make. Especially because most people never want to willingly give up their creatures they just paid for. However, this is why tokens are best when running a sacrifice deck. It provides an easy way to get your benefits.

You should proxy my Sacrifice deck and play him with hit. See if he flips the table.

Haha, no I did not even notice that! Great idea haha. Only think I don't like about that are the odds of drawing both then having to wait out until turn 6 (to play both) for the win. But now I kinda want to build a new deck based soley around getting those two out asap for the win.

btw I first looked at your deck in the first place because my name was blake too

Hmm... too many high drops in this deck. Check out stromkirk noble. He is a GREAT 1 drop vampire that fits in almost any vampire deck. I would suggest getting rid of the 5 or more drop cards and increase your number of bloodline keepers, stromkirk captains, and add in 4 markov blademasters (arguably one of best low drop vamps around). I'm currently remodeling my own vamp deck until it's finished feel free to check out my Sacrifice Deck
