Yes thats true, but I won't always have bridge out early or at all, the rats rats which are only 2 of in deck help accelerate discard and create chump blockers
The specter is known as one of the best discard creatures of the game though..
And if you want to know how I force discard through my creatures then just read stronghold rats... it's right there... It has shadow so it won't be blocked, when it deals dmg EACH player discards. Force discard right there dude
Okay, Esnaring bridge stops people from attacking me-or anyone for that matter-stopping some activated abilities that trigger on attack. I get down to 0 cards in my hand to ensure the card works that way. The goal is to get everyone "top decking". All the spells day "each" player or each "opponent" so every spell gets max use. How will I survive? Because people can't attack! And by having board wipes to clear the field then using pox/death cloud I get rid of their lands too. Nobody has lands, nobody can attack, everyone is top decking, and every opponent taking 4 or more dmg each turn.
Because obviously they will show the 3 they don't need and not show what they want to keep the most. Inquisition is FAR better than any other discard spell that also discards only 1 card. With exception to thoughtseize which I cannot afford yet. Trust me..
#2 I read the card fine. It's not meant to force discard it eliminates anyone from using spells/abilities to draw extra cards.#5 Creature base is irrelevant. This creature allows you for force each opponent to discard 1 card without having to pay mana for each turn after the first. Nuff said.#9 "Each player discards a card. If it is not a creature card that player takes 4 damage."#10 Board wipe always helps in multiplayer, if their decks work right they'll at least have out few things by turn 3The cards I listed for you weren't necessarily meant for this EXACT deck. You asked for suggestions and I gave you a list of good multiplayer discard options. I don't know what YOUR metagame is which is why I threw a bunch of cards to look into. Ease up, at least I took out the time to list off a few things don't be an ass about what I put.
Feedback, criticism, encouragement, suggestions, requests?
Here is my version of multi-player discard, made it best I could! Hope it helpshttp://www.mtgvault.com/worldsbestbillybob/decks/discarddeck-if-u-h8-ur-friends/
Here are some very good discard cards for multiplayer decks for consideration as requested... I'll also build my own version of this deck (deck building is my favorite) and post the linkCards are in order my mana cost-Rix Maadi, Dungeon Palace-Chains of Mephistopheles-"Cloak of Confusion" would be great with your GuiltFeeder-"Pulling Teeth" Could be fun and lets you Scry in a sense -Rotting Rats-SICKENING DREAMS!! SICKENING DREAMS!! Especially with Ensnaring Bridge!-Pox-Small Pox-Strong Arm Tactics-Death Cloud (Very good board wipe/life loss as well)-Liliana of the Veil-"Necrogen Mists" is good cheaper alternative to bottomless pit-Noxious Vapors-Stronghold Rats
Eh, the reason why I don't want horrifying revelation is because they get to choose what to discard. It's MUCH more effective when I also get to see their hand (so I'll know how they'll play their next turns and adjust my strategy to it) and remove their best early drops or combo piece. And I'll take a look..
I own this deck.. And it's loads of fun!! Please tell me what you think :)
Oh oh oh and it's great to use maybe 2 sphere of safety as additional control. It's great when your opponent build up all this offense and they require 6 mana for each creature to attack you haha
No problem! Feel free to "like" them too xD For any aura deck, I would highly suggest using pacifism/arrest and soul tithe for control and removal. I would also say get rid of battlewise hoplite... it doesn't do much in the aura field and lessens your % of auras in deck. Simic charm wouldn't be much needed if you keep with the hexproof already but if you somehow included red in the deck you could use both boros charm (for the indestructible or doublestrike) and madcap skills for quick high attack and increased evasiveness
Here's a couple of my Hexproof Aura decks for Standard. They should help with ideas :)4 color auras- http://www.mtgvault.com/worldsbestbillybob/decks/4color-hexproof-enchantments/double strike and control auras- http://www.mtgvault.com/worldsbestbillybob/decks/white-enchantment-control/hexproof and control auras- http://www.mtgvault.com/worldsbestbillybob/decks/standard-hexproof-enchantments/
Yes it does, protection doesn't allow blocking damaging or targeting
Oh yeah, that'd be dumb haha
